I think Danica's immune to lycanthropy due to her being an aasimar. But Kimberly is saying that the demon wolves can't transmit lycanthropy because they're native outsiders like tieflings or something.

Kind of a big difference, but I'm good with either.

Exactly. The difference is big enough to alter the tactics for future figths. Knowing that one of the group is immune would help getting her to the front line without too much worries. Thinking that those werewolves don't spread the infection might make you take risk that you wouldn't normally take.

I don't have a character in danger, so I wanted to check with you guys first since it could create some challenges in the long term.

I am fine with both interpretations. While I have not read your message to Kimberly, you have provided information that we as character(s) must interpret. In either case, using player knowledge, Danica should be safe because she is an Aasimar and the affliction can only be applied to humanoids.

If Theopolis makes his save, was able to remove the disease via his lay on hands or is immune due to his Paladin immunity, then we still would not know which interpretation is correct. In his case we may not know for sure until the next full moon.

Also, monsters don't need to follow the rules exactly, there could be something special with these werewolves and their association with Jezelda.

This is part of the game, the discovery of the unknown.

True. Plus, at least one of our other GMs changed up the rules on lycanthropy, so who knows? Maybe the rules are different for each clan.

Tolvan got bit by Anna possessed by a vilkacis. Anna got bit by a Silverhide. Theopolis and Danica were bit by Jezeldans. Could be interesting.


The possible infection of Theopolis is being kept in the unknown on purpose for now. So you can run with any assumption your character can come up for now. I know where I want to go with that one.

For Danica, we can continue with what Kimberly said since you all seem fine with that. We'll put it with the fact that visions and past life memories aren't always clear.

For Tolvan and Anna, both got resolved with GM_Shady if I remember correctly, right?

Also, side question. I don't feel like going through all the previous pages. Anyone knows where Mr. Teddy is? With Kimberly or did she leave him with someone?

Yes, GM_Shady resolved the issue for Tolvan and Anna, at least for recent bites. Future bites are another things.

That still leaves the possibility for Theopolis to consume a dose of the belladonna. Up to you Theopolis. Tolvan is offering it. Best to take it before we rest for the night I think.

Tolvan has put the question to the group but has not gotten much of a response. Anna agreed that the house to house strategy was at least working.

Here are some other thoughts:

I think we can dodge patrols, especially with the vantage point we have from our current location and view. Clearing house to house could help us avoid the surprise of things in a house coming out to help in a fight in the street.

But at some point we need to deal with the undead in the square. Maybe better to do that while we are strong?

Do we think we could go house to house and clear for a while and then rest overnight to recover abilities BEFORE we have to deal with the square?

I think house to house is my recommendation as well. We still have the map of Feldgrou in the list at the top of the page. I do not recall exactly where we have already been.

I have been keeping a listing on my character of the locations we have been to and their status. Between the ghost innkeeper and the other werewolf group we had a lot of information.

Guys, I have been playing Danica as a character on a path of self-discovery. Being that she is Aasimar she does not have a book on what has an effect on her. This is the first time that she has been bitten and is reacting from it as seen from her friends reaction. Great she is immuned but she does not know it at this point in time unless she is told about it from someone who has knowledge and or experience in such matters.


That's ok Danica. I gave a vision to Kimberly and she interpreted it a different way than I hoped. So, for now, the information that Danica has in the game is that those werewolves don't transfer the disease with their bite. You can go with that until you get more info, which might or might not happen. The end result in your case remains the same, no werewolf Danica at the next full moon.

ok looks like i may have misinterpreted the vision. but whatever I said, it can always be just that, a misinterpreted vision. Kimberly is not perfect and she can make mistakes.

however, if the werewolves are in fact fiendish then they to are outsiders and thus unable to get lycanthopcy

Yeah, after getting buried under a ton of snow last week, we are now getting around 32 degrees which is melting everything. Crazy weather we are getting. I remember freezing in febuary when I was a kid. Now I'm looking at my grill for some BBQ...

Oh yeah. I just had 15 inches of snow on a Thursday and then 5 more inches on a Sunday last week. Now this past weekend we had 60 degree weather. Really crazy. Most of the snow has already melted. And this weekend... predictions of 68 degrees.... in February. What's up with that?

Rannik - What would be the DC for Danica to move through a threatened square? She would like to move opposite Theo to be in flanking position.

you can move through a threatened square without provoking an attack of opportunity from an enemy by using Acrobatics.

But the DC is based on the CMD of the enemy so I am not sure you can know it in advance Danica.


This is where in a table top game I would just answer 42 with a smile ;) but in a PBP the joke wouldn't necessarily translate well. From Danica's experienced eye, the creature would be the biggest challenge to move around like she plan to do.


I wanted to ask you guys. With Theopolis gone, do we recruit for a 5th player? Personally, I like having a group of 5, but if you want to continue with a group of 4, that's ok with me.

If we do recruit however. How do you want to proceed?

1- Recruit by inviting someone from another game one of us play in.

2- Recruit by posting on the recruiting board.

We still have time before making the decision, I'd rather have the new character join once you are done with Feldgrau. But, depending on the speed of posting and the random dice generator, we could get there faster then anticipated.

I'm all for a 5th player, particularly we need a tank. Danica is a utility "tank" and quite frail. lol.

We seem to be having bad luck with paladins. Let's try a different kind of tank.

I think let's do option 1 first. If that doesn't work then option 2.
