Ah, FASA, we hardly knew ye.

The Wormskull was just one of the Horrors of the EarthDawn RPG.
Remember, the lord in Shadowrun is that magic ebbs and flows in cycles. And EarthDawn was an RPG for magic returning in pre-modern times, after the many races emerged from living underground after a plague of Horrors came through and wiped out anyone not protected.

For another great example of how F'd this place was, I give you the Blood Elves.

They surrounded their homeland with True Wood, hoping that the true element could protect them. They were wrong. Faced with suffering unending, they determined that the Horrors didn't cause death as much as they did torment. So, in a ritual that affected ALL of the Wood Elves, their queen caused painful thorns to grow out of their bodies, ensuring eternal torment.

It worked. The Blood Elves survived as the Horrors found other races with a lower pain tolerance.

Also, you could get magical armor embedded into your skin, like Blood Pebble armor, but it caused perm hp damage.

Never played Earthdawn. Only FASA I know are the Star Trek and Dr Who games from the mid 80s. Not bad games, but pretty simple.

I'd say start thinking about what you'd like to craft, assuming you guys are going to do a 1/5 split. I can work in some lag time at this point in the module if you need a week or two at most.

Hickle will be primarily wearing the Eyes of the Eagle, while Shmick uses the Goggles of Minute seeing. If we spot a trap or something and Hickle has time, he'll switch with Shmick and get to work.

I'm wondering if people are having trouble maintaining both this game and Starfinder. If so, do we want to just leave this open with the realization it's going to move pretty slowly, or let it go in favor of Starfinder?
