This campaign is set in the mythical land of Raithun, where an evil is brewing, the clouds of war are starting to gather throughout the kingdoms, and Heros are needed to answer the call of good and fight!

Naldoc will grab his bow and fire an arrow at it!

Bow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Arrow: 1d6 ⇒ 5

O.o the goblin catches the arrow high in the chest as a huge spider (the size of a large dog) pounces from around the corner...

Actions/thoughts people?

More trouble! Naldoc looks to the knight for ideas. Maybe we should just let the spider eat the goblin?

Chad takes aim at the spider, "Kill the spider, the goblin may be able to give us info." With that comment he launches the arrow at the spider.

Bow Shot:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Damage:1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

The arrow flies from 'Sure Shot's bow with great accuracy, striking the spider in the fleshy goo filled abdomen, it hisses loudly but doesn't go down, staring at you with its eight beady eyes

Ummm, OK. That seems smart. Naldoc will follow suit.

Do we need Initiative? If so: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12

If not, or when its my turn I'll shoot my Bow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Arrow: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Ooh! Crit?: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 5) = 7


HP 12/12, AC 20

Kale was content to let the archers do their jobs. He stood in front of them, protecting them and waiting in case the spider decided to close the distance.

Readied action, attack first enemy to enter my range.

Readied Warhammer: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

"Good shot lad your improving, leave the rest to the Sure Shot!." Chadwick pulls back another arrow and lets it fly into the creature.

Bowshot:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Damage:1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

The spider leaped at the paladin, 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 but it's teeth bounce off his hammer, taking damage before the arrow from chadwick enters its brain... it twitches as it rolls onto its back, its eight legs curling over its stomach

Wow! What a shot! Great job, Chaddy! Naldoc exclaims as the spider expires to the archer's arrow. One day I'm going to learn how to do that. I hope. Naldoc looks over toward the goblin. What about him?

Well the Voice of God, is kind of pointing out that the guy who was shot by you, then mauled by a spider will likely be difficult to communicate with or examine from 30 ft away

Stopping at the edge of the pit, Kale looks down and shakes his head. "This is going to be a problem."

Naldoc will try to determine if this was a one-time trigger or if there is a way to reset the trap so that the group can walk across.

1d20 ⇒ 12 Not sure if that would be Perception, Disable Device, or if its even possible. Just trying to come up with an idea and keep the game moving.
