Sgt. Hobbes |
Sarge will tie up, and gag, the imp as securely as possible.
"The little squirt's way too small for my manacles."
For a moment, he considers looking through the Paracountess' recreational equipment in the room for an appropriate restraint, then turns bright red once again, and thinks better of it.
Chusynd Karkota |
doing a coup-de-grace on the imp after retrieving what you are looking for may be considered an evil act
In that case, I nominate Blunttusk.
Rene Duquesnoy |
Zarta hops off of Loegnir's lap and smiles to Thujone. Yes. That is the box Ambrus wants. However, you can stick around if you want to open any other boxes around here. That little imp in there is being extra naughty. Do what you want with it, but do come back to see me soon.
Chusynd Karkota |
Chusynd looks disappointingly at the bedroom, considers offering to stay in order to clean things up — preferably starting with cleaning the Paracountess — but thinks better of it, nodding with a cheery smile as he follows the drunk out the door.
Rene Duquesnoy |
Everyone leaves the Paracountess...
On your way back to Ambrus, a throng of people blocks the street ahead. A performance art group commandeers the street, drawing graffiti to create a jolly hellscape complete with illusory devils comically dancing around in circles. A few citizens avoiding the crowd slip off-street through a nearby alley, the only egress past the gathering.
Four young thugs come out of the side and give you a menacing grin.
The female leader looks over and says Well well well. We'll take dem trinkets off ya hands

Ausk shakes his great pale head and sighs. Before lowering his shoulder and charging toward Weav. As he rumbles down the alley, he draws his greatsword, lets the blade dip to his side and then swings upward toward the heavens as he closes on Weav.

13 is a miss, even with flat footedness.
Thujone's readied action goes off. He shoots his crossbow at Ledford
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Since Thujone moved right after Blunttusk left the square, there is no cover on Ledford, and the bolt hits!

The barbarian hits Sgt. Hobbes square in the chest, his weapon making a rather sickening "crunch" as he does. There's a spray of blood, and Sarge drops like a bag of wet cement.
At -2 hp. Could be worse. :-)
Stabilization check: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (17) - 1 = 16
Stable! The god of idiot city watchmen smiles upon Sarge.

That is correct; I wasn't going to stand when it was going to provoke two AoOs. Puts me back at -3.
Sarge takes two stab wounds, and his eyes glaze over once again.
Stabilization roll, in case I'm still unconscious when my turn comes up: Stabilization:: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (7) - 2 = 5

This is one of the problems with PbP. I don't know where your color spray went. If you aimed it at Weaver, it would have gotten Ausk. You just said a corner.
From area spells, can we highlight the squares on the map.
Short answer: no.
Long answer: maybe, but it wasn't clear.
Rene Duquesnoy |
Also, you guys can just get robbed and call it a day. They aren't looking to kill everyone.

That's why I specified the row and column on the map (and why Thujone apologized to Ausk). I guess it wasn't that clear.

There. He fails.
He is down.
No damage gets done to Sarge.
The baddies are afraid and run away.
Everyone wakes up.
You win.
Chronicle sheets will be done shortly.
