"That was a tough one!" Lirianna sheaths her longsword, and reloads her pistol as she walks over to one of the room's exits.
"Does this lead back to the hall we were previously at?" she wonders out loud, and draws her longsword again.

Once revived, Jasper will whisper to Lazlo, "Lay low for now, so that we can draw this... thing away."
Lazlo will nod at Jasper's words, not fond of the whole falling unconscious thing.
Once the construct has been crushed by Seelah's mighty blade, Lazlo gratefully accepts the halfling's offer of move curative magic.

Lirianne pokes her head in the corridor.
This crumbling cavern looks like it was made by some sort of drilling device that tore through the surrounding stone. A large pool of stagnant water fills part of the cavern, fed by a rivulet that runs from the ceiling. Thick sheets of webbing hang from the roof of the cave.

Sorry, Eolowyn. I don't mean to make you waste your precious magics. When I saw Lazlo under such heavy attack, I couldn't help but use all my might to defend him. I am happy, Lazlo, to see you walking around again.
Seelah heads towards the cavern with her sword still drawn and stops in front of the stagnant water. She looks up to the webbing in the ceiling to see what she can see.

Spiders are fascinating things! Seelah, did you know that spiders have eight legs AND have eight eyes? Lazlo helpfully demonstrates on the deceased arachnid. Interestingly, they do not appear to be related; one eye does not correspond to one leg! However, the eyes are in pairs like yours and mine...

For Seelah's benefit, Jasper steps up to Lazlo and tries to deflect the overly informative gnome. "Interesting, Lazlo. Very interesting. I mean, I know this myself. Animals are an interest of mine. Bears most of all. Now, you must be wondering what other creatures are around the bend, right?"
Jasper then leads the gnome by the elbow in the direction of the next area...

Jasper and Lazlo get into a deep conversation about the merits of animal husbandry. Hugo watches on with a half confused, but half "I'm smarter than them" look on his face.
Seelah taps on her armor a few times, and realizes that each plate makes a distinct sound. After a few minutes, she begins pounding out a tune that resembles Handel's Messiah.
Eolowyn is initially interested in relaxing in the cave, but quickly gets bored and decides to go to the other room.
This long chamber has four alcoves along the western wall. The outer two contain visible statues, and the center two are recessed. Corridors stand opposite the northern and southern statues.
Eolowyn thinks to herself If there is a trap somewhere in this place, it is in here and carefully locates one. Feeling proud she continues strutting into the second trap that blows her backwards with fire.
Off in the distance, you hear Lirianne chuckling. Don't fret, she isn't chuckling because Eolowyn just got slightly crisped, but because the figured out a way to put in a alchemical cartridge to her gun without a bullet. When she pulls the trigger, a nice gust of wind goes in her face. She made a neat fan.
Hugo walks back to the laboratory, and trips on a wheelbarrow. The wheelbarrow crashes to the floor and breaks. Somehow, Hugo wedges one of the giant wheels between his leg, and begins to traverse the area while balancing on the single wheel. This makes the evil alchemist wake up for just an instance and crack a slight grin, then he falls over, limp with the death.
Everyone safely makes it out the dungeon, and Jasper makes Hugo stay on the wheel, all the way back to the village of Thornkeep.
