Use this thread to discuss events back in the Free City of Greyhawk.

Please post in character if you want to continue in the campaign. I will shut the other threads down temporarily until the next mission brief after Spring Break.

If you are new or are bringing in new characters please provide some background info on why/how you made it to the hostel run by the monk Kolwyk.

If you are a returning party member just continue on as before.

For those who did not start the campaign at the very beginning.

Background:

Somehow you managed to journey to the Free City of Greyhawk in the Central region of the Flaneass. A lot of people come to improve their luck and some actually do so. Others find out the city is harsh and unforgiving. You answered an advertisement seeking brave folk looking to do dangerous work for coin. The advertisement location ended up being a Hostel for travelers and you were essentially interviewed by a hooded monk named Kolwyk. He gave you quarters and food until the others arrived from their various missions.

have no fear. I shut down the other threads until we start up again to tidy up home pages for folks. Once groups are assigned (if there are enough for that) I will make the threads active again.

SO i dont have the exact amount to be honest got distracted. but what i calculated quickly spent was appx 5911 gold spent plus or minus a few gold

We were all allowed to adjust our character wealth to 6000g total. If you have spent 5911 that leaves your character with 89gp left. Correct me if I am wrong.

My ladyfriend was diagnosed with cancer in her lady parts friday...and they are still waiting the results for her stomach, intestines and other lower parts.

Goodnews is, if... its just confined to the ladypart region, outlook is good, if its in the other stuff.. well not so good. But she is strong and im a hopeful optimist so . . .I will still be about and continue on, but if you dont hear from me for a few days, please just message me and remind me. Sort of brain addled at the moment and distracted

sorry to hear that news... hope all goes well and it will be a 'good' diagnosis (ie confined to the one area)... best of wishes for her health in the future.

Tis the season for events interrupting PbP. Apologies for my absence over Labor Day weekend- issues with the ex wife and my children. I am back for a few days and then going to a convention this coming weekend where I will post mostly at night or in the morning.
