Darkvision:
The drow steps away from Pyre and back into the captains cabin through one of the doors that was opened by the first drow. Then something comes flying out of the open door.

Nobody is are not sure where he is but from the darkness comes a vile that explodes in sticky goop around Pyre!

Thoyoitu's Would-be assassin tries to stab him after nearly taking a dagger to the throat and dodging what would have been a fatal blow.

There are no Drow that you can see because they are all within the darkenss spell, but you know where the one at D:3 is, and can attack it. There is a 50% miss chance, but you hit him once already.

Thoyoitu,
There is not really a place to hide in the room, as the bed is large, heavy and pushed up against the wall. There is also darkness spilling in through the door (kinda like how light would be if there were a bright torch in the other room) so someone approaching you would be hidden. You could totally attack them if they hit you (50% miss chance)

Victor,
One drow gurgles, I'll pluck you like a pheasant and feed your bones to the pigs, Fowl! at Thoyoitu. Drow are not known to surrender lightly, and when they do it is usually to bide their time before backstabbing whomever showed them mercy.

Wait, there's some sort of magical darkness, right? Does it look like he can see well through it? Because I should just do as thieves do and probably go Stealth and sneak out of here or something. Stealth: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30

Final action decision: I opt to go stealthy and sneak over to B3 and ready an action to attack him when he enters. Let's see, that's a five-foot step with stealth and then a ready. That's legit, right?

Victor, It was Drow 1 that you hit and is sickened, but he is currently hidden. (that's why i labeled them) If you approach the door, you may be able to look in and find him, as you can see through the darkness without issue and there is very little cover other than the darkness.

Desula approaches the door and attempts to cast. But as he does, a blade whips out in the darkness and stabs him.

Well done Desula.
The drow drives the tip of his rapier into desula as he casts, piercing a lung, but the illusionist manages to maintain his focus.
Take 7 damage. The DC for concentration was only 18 (10+damage+1). I forgot about DR and the Sickened condition.

Waves of color wash through the darkness for a mere moment. No sooner does the light wash through the bedroom past Thoyoitu than it fades away. Following shortly thereafter is the sound of two thuds cushioned by the fine mattress.

I gotta post for the Drow one. Victor, if you don't give a location I'll move you till you can hit the Drow.


Victor is able to peek around the corner and put another arrow into the Drow.

The final conscious Drow glances around and snears,

Wow, forgot about Mage-armor, so Desula took 4 damage and one wound due to the crit
