Female Human Paratrooper Medic

Didn't post sooner because I was 100% brain farting on what Anna should/would do :p

Anna moving up right behind Jack and Pete does much of the same as Mark and tries to look anything the two door kickers up front might've missed.

Awareness 48: 1d100 ⇒ 76

We are apparently oblivious to any danger.

somehow you manage to time your approach wrong and the sentry on the roof spots you and opens fire. Just before he does so, you see him speak into a hand-held radio. You quickly realize that his carbine has a silencer on it.

Spoiler:
1d100 ⇒ 71d10 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 81d10 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Pete gets hit twice for 8 and 3 damage, no pen.

Male African American SWAT Close Quarters Weapon Specialist | " Diehard "

Pete takes the two shots directly to the face once more but this time the combination of armor and sheer pluck pushes him through as he quickly ascended the ladder. Quick as lightning he drew the Shotgun from his back Swapping it for the M16 and Fired on the Man at Point Blank Range.

" Covers blown anyway. Let's break'em down. "

He aimed for center mass. Ashley pulled up his rear not quite able to assist on the ladder.

I thought it posted the damage? Must have done it when the site hiccuped.

Reconnaissance Specialist | Callsign "Spectre"

Mark spots the sentry just as he opens fire, the quiet *pop-pop* sound of the silenced weapon making his rounds almost inaudible.

"Shit, we've been made. Go loud!" he calls, as he watches Pete scramble up the ladder then hears the characteristic roar of Pete's shotgun.

Female Human Paratrooper Medic

Anna pulls out her Revolver for maximum ease of use as she climbs up the ladder a respectable distance behind Pete And jack? with Jess in tow.

"Times of the essence Pete, you'll forgive me if we wait for all of this to be over before I slap a band-aid on you unless the wound it critical."

Jack heads up the ladder after Pete.

Pete's shot take out the sentry, but any hope of stealth is gone.

Male African American SWAT Close Quarters Weapon Specialist | " Diehard "

Pete inspects the man for anything of import and looks to the rest.

" I'm going in hot. Secure a line somewhere. I'll open the way. "

The skylight has no apparent openings correct?

Reconnaissance Specialist | Callsign "Spectre"

"Valkyrie, get Diehard set up on your drop line," Mark calls over the comms as he starts moving across the roof. He motions Jack to follow him as he says "We'll check the door out." Drawing his Mk23 as he moves, Mark signals to Jack to cover him as he tries to quietly open the roof access door.

Female Human Paratrooper Medic

"Gotcha sir." And she mentally punches herself for the previous slip up.

awareness: 1d100 ⇒ 54 Per 38 + 10 Awarness :(

Apparently seeing nothing out of the ordinary, Anna goes go secure her rappel line to the sturdiest surface, probably around a chimney or other structure, clips Pete to the line, quickly makes sure that its secure.

Scrutiny vs How Secure Pete is?: 1d100 ⇒ 37 Scrutiny is at +10 with per 38 so 2 DoS.

With the limited time at her disposal and the speed they're going for, she deems it good enough.

"Aight Diehard, you're good to go. Hush, watch his line, I'll follow down next and both of you can follow afterwards. That cool Dee Aich?" She says motioning to Ash and Jess as she clips onto the line to follow Pete down once he's clear and swaps out to her M16.

Male Human Dude

Jack covers Mark as he approaches the door, shotgun in hand. Stealth was never his style; this was much more his speed.

Awareness 32: 1d100 ⇒ 22

Pass awareness with a degree of success

Male African American SWAT Close Quarters Weapon Specialist | " Diehard "

The solemn helmet nodded to Anna.

" Appreciated Valkyrie. Spitfire, stay close I'll be taking any fire first. The rest of you do what you will. "

Making sure the line was taut with a slight amount of leeway, Pete leaped into the air and turned his back in time to crash through the glass and travel down into the building.

The guard wasn't wearing any armour, just some kind of para-military uniform and a tac vest. He had a M16.

Pete leaps back through the skylight into the open area, as he descends he sees a pair of black cargo vans. A pair of hostiles are loading something into the van farther away. They are about 15 meters away from you.

Mark and Jack go down the stairs to the second floor and find themselves in a hallway. Solid walls on both sides. They can hear someone talking but can't see them yet.

"I am telling you Carlos radioed something in, now I can't get him to respond. We should send Andy and Ramona up there just to be safe."

A second voice responds "It shouldn't matter at this point. Eric and DK are loading the vans, the boss wants us out of here in the next 15 anyway."

Reconnaissance Specialist | Callsign "Spectre"

Mark holds up a fist to signal Jack to hold. He crouches down and listens intently to try and pinpoint the source of the chatter.

Awareness 47: 1d100 ⇒ 4

He starts moving slowly towards the voices, aiming to stay as quiet and hidden as possible, suppressed pistol at the ready.

Stealth 52: 1d100 ⇒ 78

Male African American SWAT Close Quarters Weapon Specialist | " Diehard "

Pete whispers on the comms, " Time to make an entrance. Spitfire cover me. "

Pete rushed out into the open, while Ashley braced against some cargo boxes and gave a bullet storm. Moving 4m and then unloading on the leftmost man carrying the object. He fluidly switched to his M16 for its range here.

If Instead this was on the turn that he went through the lights that would be one shot and just be the first (As he had Hip Shooting). Either way they are headshots with that 20 = 2

Male Human Dude

Jack suggests to Mark that 15 mins isn't the time to play sneaky stealthy. Jack, who has zero stealth skill at all, lumbers behind Mark.

Once he's allowed to shoot somebody, he fires away with the shotgun:

Female Human Paratrooper Medic

"Alright Hush, we're up!" And Anna follows Pete and Ash down the skylight, getting ready to shoot once they're down after hearing Pete unload.

If she can shoot some peeps once she's down:

Semi-Auto Pew Pew: 1d100 ⇒ 19 vs BS of 37+10 (range) + 10 (Hush w/ Tracer) + 5 (Grip) = 62 for 5 DoS for 3 Total Hits.

Also, Jack, you're at 72 BS with 37+30+5 :p

As Mark and Jack wait they hear a cellphone ring.

"Hello....Yah boss we got the message....no more than 12 minutes....yes, yes sir. 6 minutes sir."

As the phone call is ending you hear gunfire from the more side of the building.

dice:
1d100 ⇒ 491d100 ⇒ 251d100 ⇒ 1001d100 ⇒ 331d10 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Pete's burst connects with one of the men, who is still standing but fairly messed up afterwards. he manages to move out of the way before Anna can hit him.

Both of the men return fire, one at Pete the other at Anna. Moving a couple of meters to put the van between them and gunfire.

You hear swearing and a lack of shots coming from the guy who aimed at Pete.

The one shooting at anna connects with 1 shot for 7 damage, no pen. He hits your chest.

Female Human Paratrooper Medic

Well. I don't have the Dodge Skill Trained so. Yeah. This is going to go great.

Evasion: 1d100 ⇒ 92 I get shot in the chest. I have a Flakk Vest for 2 Chest AP so 5 Damage and a Toughness Bonus of 2 so down to 3. Down to 10/13 wounds.

Not wanting to give away that she'd been hit, Anna grunts in pain as one of the shots hits her square in the chest, knocking the breath out of her and moves out of direct line of sight with the two, motioning for Hush to follow her lead if she can and fire back.
Agi Bonus is 3 so up to 3 meters as a Half-Action?

Pete's eye zero in on his prey. To the Horror of this man, Pete rushed forward clad in his prototype armor. The sound of Valkyrie being wounded boiling his blood. Completely negating the use of cover by angling his form around, Diehard moved 8m and fired at the previous target.

Spitfire began hopping crates, pipes and other obstacles, getting the higher ground on the enemy.

Hearing the enemy's timetable being accelerated, then the gunfire from below, Mark starts moving more quickly towards the voice on the phone. Co-ordinating his cover with Jack and his shotgun, Mark raises his pistol and scans for targets as he goes.

I'll roll an attack just in case something needs shooting. If I have time to set up a shot, I'll Called Shot the head (at no penalty thanks to Deadeye Shot + Sharpshooter). If not, then just a single shot. I've assumed Short Range (<=15m).

Anna drops the enemy who shot at her. Pete hits the other one in the head but he stays standing and returns fire. His shot bounces off the armour of Pete's arm.

Mark and Jack round the corner and see two men in an office. Their combined fire badly wounds one of them. He drops a cellphone moves behind a desk and draws a big pistol. The other takes cover behind a big chair, it sounds like he is removing something from a tactical vest.

Male African American SWAT Close Quarters Weapon Specialist | " Diehard "

Pete huffs through the helmet.

" Tough bastard, let's see how tough. "

Rushing headlong one the man and switching between his M16 and Shotgun quick as Lightning.

" Open wide. "

The loud Rapport of shotgun fire came from the moving arsenal. Spitfire used her Carbine and kept the man consigned to his fate.

This is the kind of adrenaline high Jack was seeking, the Discovery Channel just quite isn't the same.

Female Human Paratrooper Medic

If Pete's shooting doesn't kill the dude remaining

Anna and Jess will attempt to finish the job and put the remaining enemy down taking aim and pulling the trigger:

Pew Pew Noises: 1d100 ⇒ 37 vs 37 + 10 (jess w/ ammo) + 10 (range) + 5 (grip) + 12 (Half-Aim w/ Stock) = 74 for 4 DoS
1st shot: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
2nd shot: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Whether or not Pete requires Anna's aid in killing the dude, she'll check in on the squad comms once the coast is clear:

"We're clear. Me and DH will do a quick inspection of the cargo in these Vans before moving on. You guys clear?"

And make a move towards the back of the vans to quickly see what they were being loaded with, if anything.
IIRC, when we dropped down, they were loading them with stuff, right?

Ammo: 21/30

dice:
1d100 ⇒ 471d100 ⇒ 291d100 ⇒ 411d10 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Pete's shotgun blast doesn't care that his target is behind a van hood, tearing into him and throwing the corpse back a few feet.

Mark in his haste is just off target, but Jack catches their target as he is diving out from behind the chair. The last minute move allows the man to avoid some of the blast, but it doesn't matter, at that range there is little left of his torso after Jack is done.

The man with the pistol fires at Jack from his position behind the desk, hitting Jack in the arm for 7 damage 1 Pen.

When Anna checks the Vans she sees protective cases filling up most of one van, the other appears to have some kind of cage taking up the back.

Reconnaissance Specialist | Callsign "Spectre"

Mark hears the boom of Jack's shotgun and the curtailed scream of what he assumed was Jack's target. The absence of a grenade explosion and the sound of return fire from the office cause Mark to spin and rush back toward Jack. Leaning around the door frame, he fires quickly at the second hostile in the room.

Half Action to move back down the corridor, then Half Action to take a single shot at the guy behind the desk.

Male African American SWAT Close Quarters Weapon Specialist | " Diehard "

Pete sniffs, seeing the man splayed out on the ground. Not bothering to reload, he simply switches to his M16 and scanned the area.

" Hey Valkyrie, think any of them are serviceable, these men? I mean, I didn't exactly try and keep them in once piece. I'm sure the bodies might be worth? Anyway Spitfire, Hush and I will cover the perimeter. I'm going to call up Spectre. Tell him jobs done. "

The armored man placed his hand to the right side of his helmet.

" This is Diehard. Area Secure. 2 hostiles handled and prevented from escape. 2 Vans with a cage and cases inside. What is your Situation Spectre? Over. "

His eyes peered through visor around as Spitfire crouched nearby to cover his six.

Female Human Paratrooper Medic

"Its not like your shots tore their bodies asunder. If there's anything in there, hopefully we'd find traces of it if it was destroyed. Speaking of which..."

Anna will head towards on of their bodies and perform a cursory examination of their body. No cutting or anything just seeing if there are any external signs of...tampering...

Would this be Scrutiny or Medical or both?
Scrutiny: 1d100 ⇒ 4 vs Per 38 + Scrutiny (+10) for a total of 48 5 DoS
Medical: 1d100 ⇒ 42 vs Int 32 + Medicae (+20 [+10 and Master Chirurgeon]) for a total of 52 (since I doubt the Medikit Bonus would help) for 2 DoS.

As she works she mentions to Pete "Either way, we shouldn't dally for too long. There are obviously others here and we still have to retrieve the package. These cages at the very least, imply that they aren't dead...yet. In any case, we won't mess with any boxes in the vans yet. Who knows what could be inside them and I'd rather not risk them turning into goo on us."

Male Human Dude

Hey! That's my favourite arm!!!

Having taken away 2 of his 19 wounds, Jack plays "economist" and shows the gentleman what a return on investment is:

Jack grimaced as he swung around and shot at the man in the room; the pain in his arm causing his shot to go wide and miss.

Male African American SWAT Close Quarters Weapon Specialist | " Diehard "

Pete shrugged, " Fair enough, I'm not all that smart, just enough to get the job done and have some tech on the side. "

A long pause happening, " It's taking Spectre forever to call back, thinks something happened? We still gotta find our MIA. "

Female Human Paratrooper Medic

"Yeah, neither have reported in yet and I'd rather we not risk some asshats sneaking up on us from behind. So, wait 30 and then head back up after them?" she replies as she stands back up.

I also think we're too far away to hear gunshots, right?

Reconnaissance Specialist | Callsign "Spectre"

"Diehard, this is Spectre. We have engaged two hostiles. One is down, the other will be shortly. Have you got eyes on the hostages? Over."

The boom of Jack's shotgun is nearly deafening in the close confines of the office, and Mark waits patiently for the last hostile to pop up into his pistol's sights.

Male African American SWAT Close Quarters Weapon Specialist | " Diehard "

Pete's body language perked up as he heard Mark's familiar voice over the comms. " Oh. Seems like they ran into a little fun on the way around. If That's the case they'll be done soon. "

Deciding to confirm their findings again, Pete returned communications.

" Negative. Just cage and cargo. At least from Valkyrie's assessment. Want us to wait or go spelunking? I know you might have a little time comparatively. "

Reconnaissance Specialist | Callsign "Spectre"

"Diehard, hold your position. We're nearly done here, then we can RV at your location. Keep an eye out for reinforcements, they may have been able to report our assault. Over"

dice:
1d100 ⇒ 77

Mark's shot is on target, slamming into the foe's chest. He collapses back away from the desk.

Anna notices that both the men they shot have needle marks their upper arms, enough that they were on some kind of injected drug regime. Both also have evidence of recent IV connections.

Female Human Paratrooper Medic

"Well, from what I could tell, the dudes we just nailed were on some form of injected drug regimen - see here, here and here, She says, pointing out the needle marks to Pete, and were, at least until recently, on some sort of IV Connection - here." as she points out the marks on the back of the palms.

"Theres obviously more going on than a cursory glance would reveal but it's safe to say they ain't all that clean and we should at least expect our packages to possibly be under the same effects or something more...experimental...possibly.

And she starts dragging the bodies out of direct line of sight so that any others entering the room wouldn't immediately see them and be alerted.

Male African American SWAT Close Quarters Weapon Specialist | " Diehard "

" Roger, Copy that. We'll stand firm. "

Pete sighs looking at what Anna points out to them.

" That's not good to hear. Would explain why that guy took one to the dome and didnt drop... Didn't help him against the Shotgun though. Rather we find them soon but Spectre is having a time with others. Let me help you with those. "

Pete went to assist in corpse reorganization.

Reconnaissance Specialist | Callsign "Spectre"

The last hostile falls, and Mark opens the squad comm channel.

"Diehard, this is Spectre. We're done here, moving to your location. Over."

He signals to Jack to move out, and begins to head towards Pete and Anna's location.

Male African American SWAT Close Quarters Weapon Specialist | " Diehard "

Pete awaits Mark and Jack's arrival M16 ready and the mess relatively cleaned up.

Male Human Dude

Jack moves to regroup with Pete and Anna, desperately trying to remember what his radio call-sign is.

dice:

As the two teams move closer together, Jack and Mark come under fire, some kind of automatic weapon firing down the central hallway that forces them to test for suppression.

Anna and Pete should both make awareness tests.

Female Human Paratrooper Medic

"We read you, on our way!"She replies.

"You heard 'em DH, lets see if we can't get behind whatever's causing them grief. But first, how do you feel about sabotaging these vans so that they can't leave while we have our backs turned?"

As Anna and Pete are about to head off, Anna sees that someone has opened the hatch down to the storage area under the open half of the main floor. A man is trying to quietly climb out.

Jack and Mark duck into cover but aren't suppressed.

dice:

The automatic fire continues, but doesn't hit anyone.

Reconnaissance Specialist | Callsign "Spectre"

Mark ducks into a doorway as bullets crack past him. He risks a peek around the doorframe to work out whether the weapon is some sort of automated turret or if a hostile is manning the machine gun.

I'll try to minimise my exposure, just a quick peek to assess. If there's a guy I'll shoot him. If not, we'll have to find a way around.
