The bouncers lets each of you pass. When Jib comes to the door, the bouncer gives its weapon a dirty look. No weapons! After you explain that the weapons are part of him and not able to be removed, Alright, Ill let him slide. But we will have eyes on you all night. No funny business.

The dimly lit interior of the nightclub is filled with the press of sweaty bodies, a haze of narcotic smoke, and the pounding beat and ululating vocals of bakarang music blaring from the main stage in the northeast corner of the room. A sinuous bar winds around the northwest corner, offering a variety of drinks and drugs for purchase. Booths line the south wall of the club, facing the main stage in the northeast corner and the crowded dance floor beneath it. Gyrating dancers stand atop four smaller stages scattered around the club: one behind the bar, one in the center of the room, and two flanking the main stage. Wide double doors marked “Staff Only” exit the room to the west.

There is a small room to the left of the entrance you walked through and a worker at that door. It is quite clear that the room is a coat room.

Make one perception check each, and open all the spoilers that apply. For example if I rolled a 10, I could open the first 2 but not the third.

Those camera leave several blind spots in the club. (I will mark those spots on the map if someone gets to open this spoiler).

The blind spots are actually traps. The owner clearly made those blind spots on purpose and figured people would notice them. There are hidden cameras in all the locations of the blind spots that are much harder to spot. After noticing the hidden cameras, there doesn't appear to be any real blind spots in the club.

There are no guards wearing the Downside Kings patch in this room. To any character who has been to a night club before, this would seem to be a completely normal club

Walking into the club, Alim has a fleeting moment of anxiety. A million thoughts begin to run through Alim's head.

"There are far too many civilians in here... should a fight ensue, there is too great a risk that one of them could be harmed or killed in the crossfire. They do not deserve to die because of our investigation... at that point, we would be no better than this gang for taking innocent lives. There is also an attendant to that coat room over there that is in the same general area as the staff only section... if he is working for the gang, he may alert them if we move in that direction. We need to keep this smooth and draw as little attention to ourselves as we can... Well, besides already having Jib with us."

Alim moves closely to Tool and Hux and speaks in as quiet a voice as he can with the music thumping in the background. "Tool, Hux, I think we're eventually going to need to go into the Staff Only section. You guys are typically the last one in the room, and I need you to do something for me. If the fight in there starts to get out of control, can one of you please try to alert the innocents in this room that there is danger and they need to get out? I am all for taking this gang down and getting answers, but I do not want anyone who isn't part of this gang to be injured should this get gruesome. Please?" The look in Alim's eyes is one of concern.

After speaking with Tool and Hux, Alim stands back up to survey the area further. He is both amused and disgusted with how the individuals in this club conduct themselves. Their vulgar dancing reminded him of primitive mating rituals, but is almost fascinated to see it occurring before him. The intrigue of the how certain dance moves and eye contact and gestures lured in potential mates was something Alim had only really read about, and to see how it actually worked was strange. "Humans are such as strange species" Alim thought to himself.

Alim looks to his comrades. "I am going to the bar to speak with the bartender. I think we all need some 'drinks'. Why don't you guys come with me?" Alim lowers his voice again to be almost inaudible with the music in the background. "When I walk up to the bar, you should all huddle around me, so when I set the bag down, we can block out most of the cameras, and get situated to go through that Staff Only door. We need to keep as much of this fight in there as possible, so no innocents get hurt. I'm going to go to the end of bar nearest the Staff door, so we can just push our way in there as soon as we're equipped. Does that work for everyone?"

Alim leads the group to the most south end of the bar. He looks around until he sees a bartender. Once he makes eye contact with the one, he keeps his eyes on him as he approaches Alim.

When Alim makes eye contact with the bartender, the bartender comes over to Alim. Well there, you are a new face in the crowd. What can I get you tonight? He is clearly eyeing up Alim because he looks so wealthy for this area.

There is clearly a sprinkler system in place om the ceiling but you do not see a pull switch to set the fire alarms off (unless you go to the bar with Alim). Alim on the other hand can see a pull switch for the fire system set up behind the bar.

With that, Alim closes his right hand into a fist, and his yellow orb springs back into view, as Alim's hand closes in around it. It quickly shifts shape into that of a bright yellow sword. Alim grabs his pistol in his upper left hand. Leading the way, Alim pushes his way through the Staff Only doors, in a half crouching position, to see with the thickening smoke.

This large storeroom is filled with supplies for the bar outside, including bottles of hard alcohol, kegs of beer, and boxes of food and recreational stimulants. One corner holds amplifiers, musical instruments, and costumes for the club’s entertainers. A single door stands in the north wall. There is a security system set up to monitor the bar as well.

There are 3 members if the downside kings sitting at the table monitoring the security system and playing cards. Clearly they were too involved in their game and are taken by surprise when the door opens and people have their weapons drawn.

Jib, your readied action has not triggered but it still might since you don't act till after the enemy.

Having his gun already raised Katara fires a shot at the closest enemy, trying his best to aim around Jib. He could tell right away that his first shot had missed its mark.

Katara moves forward to stand just inside the room for a better shot this time. He lets loose his shot at the same enemy as before and thinks it may have hit although he cannot tell for sure.

The shocking laser fire harmlessly hits a wall as Katara charges into the room. When she fires again, the laser finds its mark leaving a pretty nasty burn. Did I move you correctly? also do you not have access to edit it? I know I have struggled with that on the boards before.

Alim charges in, and goes for the first gang member he sees. As Alim runs, his sword takes on a hint of white to its glow, showing that he is attuning to the photon ways of the Solarian. The gang member seems to still be confused and slightly dazed as Alim leaps into the air, his glowing sword coming down on him swiftly.

"Gad tamut jyda!" Alim shouts as his sword makes contact with the gang member.

From the other room, you guys here looks of chocking and wheezing. Some people sound in pain as they are suffocating on the smoke. 8 more people manage to escape the club.

The aqua patched gang member gets sliced hard with a sword made out of light and looks barely conscious at this point. All three guards seem to be too focused on the light weapon wielding 4 armed monster that they don't notice a sneaky android enter the room.

The guards all draw their weapons in response to the sudden invasion when suddenly aqua man falls to the floor screaming in pain holding his head and then falls quite.

The purple gang member talks into his comm unit We got a situation boss. 602 While the yellow fellow moves into a better position to fire away at Alim.

Despite moving to get a clear shot, the gang member misses Alim completely. But the purple gangster was more lucky against Karata. He takes a laser to the leg. 3 fire damage

Katara takes advantage of the wide open space and manages to make contact on the yellow fellow. Unfortunately, he seems relatively unphased by the high powered laser; either because it didn't hurt too much or because he is still in shock over the unexpected knife inside of him. That is when he suddenly understood what happened to aqua man. He grabs his head and screams in agony. He collapses on the ground, presumably dead. On a side note, yellow fellow wasn't the one on the comm unit. That was the purple guy.

Hux, from outside the room manages to shoot off an expert shot. While the hit wasn't best placed one, his laser gun seemed to pick the energy that Katara's was lacking and causes the purple guy to burst into flames. Hux Crit Damage: 2d4 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5

Right after shooting, Hux uses his custom rig to take control of Jib. Jib suddenly moves into the room. When he is within reach, he takes a stab at the enemy who is already on fire. He manages to stab him through with the pike, causing the body to hit the floor.

The room is now enemies, but there is a door on the northern wall of the room. I am keeping it in round by round.

He quickly looks back at his comrades, as he crouches near the door.

More chocking and sounds of suffocation come from the other room. 8 more people manage to escape. Though eerily by the end of this round, the noises of chocking stop.

From the room that Alim is by, he hears a loud bang. It is the sound of a large object being dropped he would guess.

As the door opens, the first thing you see is a small metal sphere flying your way. It lands right in front of Alim and discharges a large amount of electricity. Luckily, the walls protect most of you from the but Alim, Jib, and Katara are within the bast. 4 electric damage,dc14 reflex save for half

Once the blast clears, you get a good look at the room. It seems like a small office.It has a desk, several chairs, and vidscreens which have the security displays on it. The desk has been flipped and Dahlia is fairly certain she saw a human standing behind it when the door was opened but she is not there now. There is another door the the north east of the room. The last thing you see in the room is a large vesk in red armor and carrying a big gun. He has a big grin on as his grenade makes contact.

Readied actions make everything so confusing I am pretty sure everyone took there actions in round 4 except Alim. So he gets to take his round 4 actions and then round 5 actions. In the future, in situations like this, I will attempt to make this sort of thing more organized. Just so you guys know, this is probably going to be a really challenging fight.

Seeing the hurling ball of metal flying at them, Alim's warrior training kicks in, and he does his best to shield other's from taking damage as the grenade explodes.

Reflex Save:

As Alim regains himself after being hit, he sees the Vesk grinning, looking the damage he has caused. Alim feels his blood begin to boil, and he charges straight at the Vesk. As he charges forward, Alim's sword changes once more into pure white, and is almost mesmerizing to look at. The peaceful Alim seems to almost have vanished, as his black eyes seem to become even darker, and his movements deliberate and precise. Approaching the Vesk, he raises his sword once more, and lunges at him.

"Gad tamut jyda!"

Alim quickly turns, and again strikes the Vesk, with even more vengeance in his blade movements.

Alim, for a fleeting moment, has his more peaceful Solarian training override him. He turns and shouts at the Vesk and the Human.

"This doesn't have to end with more bloodshed! Surrender and your lives will be spared!"
