Yes

Rumha's sword is, as ever, a joy to behold - but this time it does no damage.

From somewhere behind the trio of cultists, a barely constrained snicker can be heard as Rumha's magical blade swishes harmlessly through the air.

Heledar moves behind Grob, and tries to swing at the same cultist his companions attacked first, taking advantage of his weapon's reach.

Bardiche attack, PA: 1d20 + 8 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 8 - 4 = 7
Damage if it hits: 1d10 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21

He is not able to place a solid attack however, but retains his position to protect those behind him.

Heledar fails to connect and Rythanus seems to be biding his time...

New round, one cultists injured, two uninjured. Talarin, Grob, three cultists, everyone else

Go Rain! :D
If Rythanus can still act for the last round, he'll cast Color Spray (Will DC15 negates) on the two lesser cultists. If not, he'll do that this round.

Rythan raised his free hand and let loose a spell around the cultists to the east, a cacophony of whirling kaleidoscopic color meant to stun them into inaction, or even drop them.

Peri-Blooded Aasimar (Emberkin) Male Angel-Blooded Aasimar (Angelkin) Oracle 4/Paladin (Hospitaler) 2[HP: 58/58 - AC: 19|12|17 - For:+11 | Ref:+8 | Wil:+10 - Per:-2 Init:+2]

Wow Rain... You're rolling at +32?! :O

with a true strike, yup!

Before anyone can act, Rythanus sends a spell at one of the cultists, clearly stunning him.

Talarin quite literally takes the world away from under the feet of the senior cultist and he sprawls ungainly on the floor.

Grob, cultists and then everyone else

Male Half Orc Druid 3 (HP: 17/22; AC 19, (t11, ff17); F+4,R+2,W+6; init +1/Per +10)

Grobradon tries to finish off the ones already softened...

Grob takes out one of the cultists. The remaining two are on the floor and dazed and with you imposing figures beside and above them, daren't risk trying to retaliate.

Instead they raise their hands in surrender.

Rain lowers her whip and glowers at the cultists, "Where's Iramine?" He voice is ragged but sharp as she barks the question, any patience she once had for these fool cultists obviously spent at this point.

Male Half Orc Druid 3 (HP: 17/22; AC 19, (t11, ff17); F+4,R+2,W+6; init +1/Per +10)

"Answer her!" Grobradon snarls at the remaining cultists

Intimidation:1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

The cultists immediately beg for mercy and quickly reveal that Iramine is in the next room.

They tell you that Iramine has been obsessed with returning to the City of Golden Death for years, and that this time, she plans to take the
jewel of everlasting gold.

The priests know that Iramine visited the city before and later sent their cultists to Kassen to get the pieces of the amulet to form the key she now carries.

Finally they divulge that she's been alone in the next room for hours.

HP: 39/39 - AC: 16|12|14 - For:+5 | Rex:+4 | Wil:+10 - Per:+12 Init:+2

"What are her strengths? What weapons does she use?"

"She has both arcane and martial powers - but she tends to favour her magic in battele. She should not be underestimated. She carries an elven blade."

retired

Rain frowns at the news and crosses her arms. As she considers the cultist's words, she absentmindedly taps her index finger against her lips and paces slightly. She stops after a time and readies her crossbow and other equipment. She looks up at the others then and, with a nod, says flatly, "Well then, in that case, let's end things with this verzwarend* teef**, shall we?"

"Great, she'll probably focus spells on sword swingers and blades on our casters, classic going for perceived vulnerability. We're going to have to press hard and fast I think to keep her on the defensive."

retired

"It'll take me a few moments to cast a spell of my own, but I'll be able to separate her from her sword once it's cast. If you don't think we'll have the time, I can always try without the spell, but it'll be much less certain a thing that way." She looks at Grob and shrugs as she turns to the others, "He could just tackle her, right? Nobody could concentrate hard enough to finish a spell after being pancaked by Grob." A slight smirk plays at the edge of her mouth as she runs through the idea.

"Allow me a few moments to bestow Iomedae's blessings on us, and we should be able to hit her harder than she expects" - Heledar nods, giving a sidelong glance at the cowed cultists - "Perhaps we should make haste, lest she gets to prepare to face us" - he adds.

"Is she alone?" - he asks, turning to the defeated ones again.

Given a few rounds, Heledar will cast Bless, Divine Favor on himself, and Protection from Evil on Grob. Could use a charge from that wand of Shield zapped on me if possible - if not, we can just go ;)

The cultists nod - "Yes, she wouldn't allow anyone to go in there with her."

Peri-Blooded Aasimar (Emberkin) Male Angel-Blooded Aasimar (Angelkin) Oracle 4/Paladin (Hospitaler) 2[HP: 58/58 - AC: 19|12|17 - For:+11 | Ref:+8 | Wil:+10 - Per:-2 Init:+2]

I guess Heledar can start buffing, and then we move in? And keep on speaking, since it is free, right? :D

"Is the entrance trapped?"

HP: 47/47 - AC: 17 (21 w shield)|13|15 - For:+6 | Ref:+5 | Wil:+6 - Per:+10 Init:+2

I'm not sure if I can only use 1 arcane pool point/rnd, but if so, Rythan will start using points to make his weapon +1, keen, and give himself a +4 insight bonus to attacks, just before we go in.
Is it possible to peek inside without alerting Iramine, assuming the entrance isn't trapped?

Rythan tied up the groveling cultists (sorry if we already did that, I can't recall it), then prepared to enter the next room with his companions. "Let's hope she's all that's in there," he muttered.

Rain passes the wand of shield around the group as they gather by the door, a grim, steely look in her eyes. She adds to Rythanus' sentiment, "Let's hope we're in time to stop her too."

Since shield is a self-only spell, the only way you can get a dose Heledar is if it's a) on your spell list or b) you successfully pass a use magic device check.

Happy to go with Rythanus' suggestion but it may negate any surprise round (or may stop you walking into a trap). It's your call

Grobradon grins, "Feel free to join me in the kicking" And he attempts to boot the door down.

Str check?1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13

You are able to throw open the door with ease, although are taken aback by the heat of the room. You have certainly caught her off-guard - she was no doubt not expecting anyone to disturb her.

The chamber has high, vaulted ceilings, a simple stone floor, and unadorned granite walls. A large, 15-foot-square raised dais occupies the center of the room. In the middle of the dais rests a gray stone block with a grasping hand carved from the same stone rising from the center of the block. The hand is currently empty. The room is almost unbearably hot and entering is much like walking into a furnace.

Iramine is an elf, with long brown hair. She is willowy and adorned in flowing white silks, with a golden mask.

Already sweating in the hard heat, Rythan moved to the side to avoid being a juicy, clumped-up target with the rest of the group at the door. "Give up now, Iramine. Things will go badly for you if you don't."

In the next round, Rythan will ready magic missile for if Iramine begins to cast a spell.

How many rounds did we spend questioning the cultists? If it's few enough, I should have a round or two of Spiritual Weapon left.

The priest blinks at the wall of heat pouring from the room and wonders (uncomfortably) how Iramine can stand in a blast furnace... but he puts that question aside for the moment to capitalize on their momentary advantage. Uncharitable as it is, Rumha doesn't offer the cult leader a chance to surrender - or speak. He quickly weaves a spell of silence and throws it upon her flowing silk robe.

Grobradon grimaces, the others want to offer her a chance to surrender. He's pretty sure she's not going to take it, and lives could be on the line.

Fine, I'll compromise... He moves up, and swings with the flat of his blade.

Taking -4 on to hit to do nonlethal dmg, counted in below
To hit: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
Dmg if that hits, nonlethal 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (1, 3) + 9 = 13
to hit: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Dmg if that hits, nonlethal: 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (5, 2) + 9 = 16

Edit. Wow. Good rolls. Confirming crit time?
Confirm Crit on #1 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
Dmg, nonlethal if that counts 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (2, 1) + 9 = 12
Confirm crit on to hit roll #2 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Dmg, nonlethal if that confirms 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (6, 2) + 9 = 17

IF that all went in...then 58 points of non-lethal damage? I really need to have grob thank the smith for making this sword

Although Iramine isn't knocked out, Grob's blows seriously affect her - that's clear.
