I was able to sneak a post. Herbert only continues to fight if his compatriots join him or if its a one on one brawl. Aperture feel free to roll for me as needed. I'm due back home sometime between 6 and 7p eastern.

we got the guartermaster last night i think. we should get the items today IF I read correctly.

Quartermaster is friendly, my goal is to get as many people helpful as I can. Starting with the officers we have access to.

Being a sailor and a stoic dwarf Alestone is probably more accepting of the status quo than most. He's also not used to being anybody of import' so it'll likely take him a bit to realize his own importance.

Depends on where in Ypsi, but by the college or close to AA is good. Ann Arbor is one of the nicest towns anywhere period...just too pricey to live there

AA is nice and I have family that still lives in Ypsi so I know what you mean. I really liked it out there. I wish I was back there but times got so rough out there that I had to move out to Cedar Rapids.

I know what you mean. I am lucky to be going to school, but I dread the day I have to look for a job. Thankfully math is hard for most folks. I'll need a masters degree, but between teaching or actuary work I think I'll be okay. If not I'll be moving somewhere too.

NoNoNo I am a math major. I don't work for anyone except slave drivin profs. I used to work in special education...schools, residential facilities. I went back to school to become a math instructor at a small college or CC. If that doesn't pan out actuary is my second career choice.

Saved by the mod again, hopefully. Once I know if I have made Grok helpful or not I will ask for the fiddle with another diplomacy check as a favor. As long as its not considered a dangerous favor I think it wont be a problem.

If all goes well we will make it to the next day with two helpful officers and one less angry halfling.

Dont know if its metagaming but Herb I would not waste time trying to get on the good side of anyone with a blank attitude on the NPC list. I would guess that all officers besides Grok and Kroop would be a waste of time at best and deadly at worst. I would work on the indefferents sense they are in the same boat as us or at least willing to come to our side. Would only bother with the unfriendlies once we have cleared the indefferents.

Just my take on things. ;)

P.S. Doubt we will have time for the hostiles but would crack them if we clear the unfriendlies. I like the idea of pretty much stealing the crew from under them very amusing. xD

Sorry, not even looking at their attitudes. I just like the idea of having the Master Gunner on my side. If Aperture wants me to stick to the crew that can be influenced, a little prod is all I need. In the future should I stick with those shown as susceptible to my charms?

I agree that stealing the crew from under the officers sounds funny.

I am rereading the last two days posts now. With all the real world excitement, I think I missed some stuff the first time through. I've been scatterbrained as hell so hopefully this gets my head out of my ass.
