The water is shallow and their is a reef, so their is not really a big risk of drowning or anything. Also the water is calm so taking 10 even if you have no mod should mean everyone is fine in the water.

Really Aoro is just worried that Mister Plugg trying something or that some sort of reef monster will show up. Reef is prime with life so predators are aplenty, sharks are the first that come to mind.

Do we have to make any checks to catch the crabs?

Going off the sheets, I have no idea about Sundara's stats, with there being 5 pots. I suggest we split into two groups, swimmers/collectors and potters/lookouts. For the swimmers I would say Sunny, Lanliss, Herbert, and Alestone sense they have the best mods. While the potters would be Aoro, Duo, and Sandara who have the worst swim mods. Sense the potters will be floating along with their pots they can also keep a look out for anything and yell a warning to the swimmers. Sound like a plan?

Edit-Got ninja'ed by the DM. Well I still say we have some looks out. Aoro will be one due to his bad swim mode.

Edit Edit- Those dice are evil, I hope I can take 10 or Aoro just went for a dip down below. >.<

Well...I was also going to suggest EVERY one take a harpoon and we then attach the pots to the net. THEN lace the harpoons though the top of the net between the pots, hence creating a sort of 'shark cage'.

Yah, I know it's not solid, but a shark will still 'see'/'feel' it in the water and hence be likely to avoid it.

The previous post only covered 4 of the seven people there, which you were one. Thus, I was finishing off the other 3 before the reefclaws came. Each person managed to get 1 crab, for a total of 7 crabs.

Aw to be honest I think the reefclaws are a bit much for lvl 1's. OOC they have poison and a death throes ability. Only thing worst in this case are dire sharks I think. >.<

Just happy I am playing a cautious character who happens to come from a city that host a great restaurant. So he knows how deadly those suckers are as well as the fact they make good eating. The grilled reefclaw steaks from the House of Sorrento are a local favorite. >:)

They're not terrible, although they are a challenge. My RL group had a bit of a time with two of them, although there's only 4 players in that group currently.

Here's the thing. 'Regenerate' cannot work through 'scarring'. Hence fire, acid and 'burning' damage cannot be 'healed'/'regenerated' through. After the scarring becomes permanent, regeneration won't work.

Conversely, if a Doctor/Surgeon/Chirurgeon has enough skill and magics available, there should be nothing stopping them using the 'regeneration' WHILE they surgically remove the scarred tissue and then this will allow the regeneration to go ahead and completely heal said wound.

I think your confusing the troll's regeneration weakness with what regeneration really is. Scar tissue has no effect on regeneration. After all even a trolls regeneration will work once its gone two rounds after being hit by fire. So you could cut off its arm with a flaming sword and come round 3 he will be growing it back so long as he is not hit again. Anyways the spell makes no mention of anything like that, it states clearly anything can be regrown or repaired, only the time is a variable.

Dont know if you can take reefclaw poison. More so when your in the water. Would wait on the DM to see but god help you if you ruin the reefclaw meat.

My understanding of poison is that it is glandular, except in rare cases where it is actually not a toxin, like in the old beliefs about komodo dragons (recently dispelled). The glands should be located well away from the meat. I would be more worried about the juices from its stomach tainting the meat.

Well if reefclaws are anything like lobsters then most of the meat should be safe from any tainting hopefully.

I'd imagine that the greatest worry when taking a poison sac is that the sac is ruptured or that the channel carrying the venom is not closed properly. A ruptured venom sac should not endanger other parts on the creature unless the venom has a special property, such as being acidic or such. I'm working on rules for it, but I'll post them later when I have them done.

I would be more worried about exposure to yourself sense until lvl 2 Lanliss you run that risk in just applying it. Much less handling it.

Bad news I wont get anything off the angry Plugg. Good news Cog should be helpful and Aretta should be turned indifferent. Did not use fishguts so if anyone wants to finish up Shivikah or take a shot at Badger that should help.

Edit-Running dry on targets too sense Aoro just cant relate to some of those left. xP

Aw Lanliss sorry your nat 20 was wasted. If you had gotten fishguts aid with two aid anothers you would have made it. Nice going with Shivikah, thats another helpful for us. By the way those potions only work on you right, cause if your using the brew potion feat you need the gold for it. Unless its an alchy feature or something I dont know much about the class.

Sunny is going to get sunburned due to all her exposure. Dont go crying to Sandra or Duo to make it better. Not worth the spell you silly elf, thats what you get. xP

I use it but I have my chars all wirtten out ahead of time anyhow because I am not home 90% of the time so I do not have a chance to do it in there always. and Yes I do remember him saying day 15.. but the question is to what level? I think that we might have gotten enough to get to 3rd level if my calculations are correct.

P.S. Fishguts can only be used at night. He cant be used during the day for anything. Not that it matters you got her to friendly with your roll. If someone gives you an aid another you could make helpful.
