Narika is a halfling sorcerer with a big attitude of hating Cheliax, the Thrune, dynasty, and Asmodeus. She's actually level 8, but I can easily do the level up before we start.

I have no prior knowledge of this scenario.


Venture Lieutenant Play by Post PBP GM kit

I have ran both scenarios more than a year ago. I have several characters available:

Kerastes: lvl 5 oread inquisitor: tries to keep the other pathfinders out of trouble
Yarricki: lvl 5 gnome druid / hunter: rides an axebeak and prefers to charge
Myrd: lvl 6 tengu wizard (summoner): diplomat and smuggler
Toctep: lvl 7 nagaji dragon disciple: do massive amounts of damage while receiving the same, hopes the enemy goes down before he does

On high tier I will take Toctep, he could also be lvl 8 (last chronicle was a GM chronicle at half speed), on low tier it depends on the needs of the party.


I have no knowledge of this scenario.

Spackle McGapfiller: 5th level lava gnome bard (flame dancer) ~ Likes to drink (face o' the party type), see through Obscuring Mist shenanigans.

Izlin Greymantle: 6th level Card Caster Magus/Far Strike Monk/Occultist ~ Tiefling with some decent knowledge skills. Touch and range spells on thrown weapons.

Bo Goh Twang: 8th level Zen Archer, Qinggong Monk/Feral Hunter/ Exciter Spiritualist ~ Naive young man on 'The Path' of enlightenment. Flurry of arrows, no provoke when shooting, solid AC


Male Mostly Harmless Incorrigible Punster 5/ Militant Grammarist 3/ Contrarian 2

Wonders in the Weave 1&2 mark two of the few Season 3s I've neither played nor GMed.

I have a spellscar mystery Oracle at low sub-tier (he's a Cassandra-type powerless prophecy cursed ganzi), or a slightly-insane cleric of ARODEN! at high sub-tier (face of the party with low WIS and lifelinks all around).

It looks like our two characters that are set are level 6 & 8 so we could go either way tier wise.

I played this scenario when it was new ~6 years ago and am only starting to read it now, but I don't remember it varying significantly from the average difficulty of PFS scenarios, so people can probably bring whatever they like and it'll be fine.

That said feel free to coordinate to your hearts' contents.

As a note there is an additional boon for doing both parts in order, so there's that to consider as well.

Preacher inquisitor: twice per day he can call out a warning when an ally would be hit to make the enemy reroll their attack roll. I will use this on critical threat rolls and when allies are below 5 hp and about to be hit.

Bodyguard, combat reflexes and helpful trait: three times per round when adjacent ally is attacked can attempt an AoO vs AC 10 to give +4 on that ally’s AC.

Edit: Totally forgot about this given the server outages, but now seems as good a time as any to explain my shenanigan.

Share Training (Eldritch Guardian ability):
At 2nd level, when the familiar can see and hear its master, it can use any combat feat possessed by the eldritch guardian. The familiar doesn’t have to meet the feat’s prerequisites, but at the GM’s discretion may be precluded from using certain combat feats due to its physical form. For example, an eldritch guardian’s pig familiar with access to Exotic Weapon Proficiency (spiked chain) would not gain the ability to use spiked chains, since it doesn’t have any limbs capable of properly handling them.

This ability replaces the bonus feat gained at 2nd level.

Dragon Style (feat):
While using this style, you gain a +2 bonus on saving throws against sleep effects, paralysis effects, and stunning effects. You ignore difficult terrain when you charge, run, or withdraw. You can also charge through squares that contain allies. Further, you can add 1-1/2 times your Strength bonus on the damage roll for your first unarmed strike on a given round.

I cleared this with my local VL when I first thought it up. But as The Friz has above-animal intelligence, it can share Dragon Style with me. With a swift action, this allows me to make a mounted charge through allies and difficult terrain. On the other hand, I don't usually have the room for repeated charging, making it less of an issue.

The muummy takes a step out of the coffin and grabs at the Arnold's neck.

So, it doesn't sound like a charge, and the -2 from entangles means the roll to hit was a 22, missing Arnold's 23 AC.

I might be missing something, but I just wanted to check. I'm sure Arnold would be happy to avoid making those additional saves.

Unlike a different pair of tapestry scenarios there's no requirement to forgo shopping etc between scenarios to get the extra boon.

I'm headed off to work soon and am out all day tomorrow. My hope is to get chronicle sheets out late Sunday night, but there's some chance they'll get pushed back until Monday.

Hopefully Wednesday will mark the beginning of part 2 for those of you staying around.

We also have some dex drain to deal with I believe.

I'd be up for that! I had forgotten this was a two-parter a bit ago and signed Arnold up for Gameday. But fortunately this scenario isn't quite over and I had to throw in a different character for the new one. So Arnold is still available, ready and willing.
