Hi there! I'm not certain which character I will be using because my computer is down right now. I should be able to access it Saturday, or if not I can use a pregen. Does this begin Saturday or Sunday?

I always forget. If you have a skill check that lets you use multiple skills and you have all of them can you use them all or only choose one to use?

Only choose to use one. However, in this case each of the skill checks is about a different thing: if you have multiple of them (Diplomacy, Know Arcana, Know Local) feel free to roll each!

OK this is Paladin, I've got this character just about updated to 4th. I had to do it manually because my computer with Herolab on it is still down. Oh well! Even though he's below-tier, he's a hell of a bruiser, especially when he gets enlarged.

Edit: When I get my computer working again, hopefully I will be able to update him using Hero Lab. Can I fix any numbers or anything like that which I've messed up when I do that?

There is always a lot of box text in scenario starters, and this special more than most.

A quick bullet points for what's going on right now, in case Kreighton Shaine's long-windedness confused you:

Sky Key Test mission:
The Sky Key is able to project images and 'echoes' of the past into the present. In its greatest test yet, hundreds of casters have sent you and all the other assembled Pathfinders thousands of years into the past, to a city of the long-gone Serpentfolk empire during its long campaign against the Azlanti.

You can't physically bring anything from the past back with you back with you, but notes and experiences are something else altogether. Not much is know about this time, at least in any detail, and you and all the other Pathfinders have just a matter of hours to explore and discover as much as you can.

Is it worthwhile making an alias as the Eidolon to separate which posts are mine personally and which are his or is that not needed?

I think as a general rule you should make a separate alias for your Eidolon as they can act on their own initiative separate from yours. Most other players have done so in my experience. Still it is the DM's call as to whether it is required :)

If you decide not to, then you should clearly delineate your Eidolon's post from yours by using a HEADER for example.

You're using up one of your PFS character slots for that forum alias, you know? For pet classes it's usually better to make one of the regular aliases since the Eidolon doesn't get a separate character number.

Mirror image: Number 1 spell for GMs who want their NPCs to actually get to do something before they get killed.

If you want I can use your current Xander profile image Xander's icon on the map.

Also regarding the PFS thing, as long as "Xander Fire Eidolon" hasn't posted more than 10 times, you can always switch teh name over to another (new) character and just remember that PFS # is that name (and create an Alias for the eidolon now.

I'll keep him in PFS form (dont have replacement idea either atm) as i cant add any info to him if he is just an Alias, but ill use the Alias to do any posting

so a bit more on what i did with the map

made a 2square by 2sqaure white square to represent the create pit spell (Dc17 reflex 6 rd duration)

Odo's old location was directly above Kuwabara's location and has been moved to his current location to represent Midri's efforts dragging him.

Im waiting to see the result of the create pit spell before i decide what to do with Xander's turn (he either 5ft's and full attacks if the Slaugrak makes his reflex save or he goes airborne (minimum fly skill check roll is 23 and goes in pursuit of the other trog around the corner (perception check?) Speed 40

I'm going to say its safe to assume for these checks that we cannot take 10 since there danger nearby.

Also say Midri has run out of skills to use is there a place where she can wait and take not take damage if someone else is still doing checks?

i have all the knowledge's but id rather not get the rest of the party sniped while spending round after round trying to get the number required for a successful addition. (since i cant seem roll above a 10 with Midri this campaign.)

Correct on take-10 not being an option at the moment.

You can essentially duck and cover or hide a bit aways from the Plaza to avoid damage for that period if you wish. you would be fully protected, but unable to either document any of the material in the plaza yourself or try and defend those who do so.

Im assuming there is a very simple solution to this but im not sure exactly how you roll for miss chance. Do you just roll a 1d100 labelled miss chance or?

Midri, that is what I usually do. Just be sure you label which die range is actually a miss first.

ahh got it so you would say 1d100 100 is hit and then see what it gets you, got it.

I'll do that for Midri's turn, (waiting to see what the melee characters do, as I am debating between moving to close and grease)

Yeah, I usually assume low would miss, high would hit unless you prefer the reverse and note it in your post

So if you go, High misses and then roll an 84, you'd miss. But if you just put down the d100 I'll assume 1-20 misses for blur, 1-50 misses for invisible/displacement/total concealment, etc

So, Now you know one of the reasons I was especially 'push forward' the last week was that we were approaching a new Act.

There a lot to take in those three posts, so feel free to ask any questions. I'll try to put up a summary post here later today. Also check the Global Map link above: it might help give you a picture (sorry, no pun intended)

As a nice side effect however, the rapid shifts through time seem to have paritually re-invigorated you. Each of you can choose TWO of the options below. If you'd like, you can pikc the same option twice instead:

• Recover one or more spells or spell slots whose total levels are equal to your character level.
• Regain one daily use of a class feature. If you would normally be able to use the feature five or more times in one day, instead regain two uses.
• Heal 1d2 points of damage to all ability scores.
• Heal 1d8 hit points. Add your character level to the
number of hit points recovered.

Let me know which two each of you'd like to select. Of course there's that mob growing.....

Midri will regain HP and Spell slots as she was fortunate enough to not have taken any ability damage.

HP Regain: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 so all of them.

and will regain 5 spell slots which is all of them I have used. (grease, mage armor, shield, and 2 for create pit.)

on a side not are any of our active duration buffs (Xanders mage armor for example) expired due to our shift in time or?

Wadi will elect to recover spell slots and daily use of a class feature. He will recover 5 total spell slots and 2 uses of his Elemental Ray.
