With their new task before them, the party leaves the Kylou's bedroom and returns to the main chamber of the Well of Demon's upper floor. Following the directions to their prey, the party flies through the hole in the upper level's floor and down to an enormous basin of stagnant water below. Further north the basin gives way to a rocky beach that marks the entrance to another series of chambers.

Within this cavern a desiccated corpse wearing bloodstained o-yoroi armor of ancient make lies in wait. Piercing eyes glowing red are visible from within the shadows of its kabuto helm. It immediately its katana to attack.
