Hi all, I've been asked to run the final encounter of 6-03 for you. Thank you for the kind introduction. (The minions have been telling me that I blushed, but I convinced them It's the light in the lower planes that makes me look red this time of year) I've done this thing before, so we can continue shortly.

I need your input in getting my bearings. I can probably figure out a lot on my own, but for the sake of speed, it's probably best if you answer me these things (it also helps me understand how you've been experiencing the adventure so far)


- Can somebody tell me what you've managed to do while in Nantambu? I assume you've managed to get a diamond somewhere, as that suit of armour seems to be walking around.
- Can you give a short description of your characters? I see some very special ones, so I'd like to know. I see two familiars walking around (a sprite and a compsognathus?). Whose are they? I don't know what Aroden is crunch-wise, but maybe that's for the best :)
- It seems we lost Slyph. I usually remove a PC from the game if the player dropped, if that is ok with you. It seem GMM wanted to bot him, but I'm personally not so fond of that.
- Are we at low tier?

I've set up a google maps drawing with a reproduction of the GM's latest map here.

Since the man was concentrating on something that took a long time, I've adjusted his init to be with the group of other enemies - that'll help us moving a bit quicker

Bold is up. For not bold, I've noted their action this round as I understood them. Feel free to correct me if I got it wrong.

The suit of Ceremonial Armor moves at your command, so I'd appreciate it if you posted actions for it.

The pathfinder scramble into position to pounce at the first enemy to come through the door. They hold their breath, and wait for what seems like an eternity. The clanking sound of the suit of armour is mirrored by the whirring and creaking of the gearsman. This will be a battle of titans.

As far as I know we are in low tier. Navi is my familiar :). I'm a beastmorph alchemist focussing on claws and bite attacks. Buffed quite a bit atm with shield, heroism, exp retreat and a str mutagen, putting my ac at 24 right now. Iron man controls the suit of armor. As to what we have been doing...We went to save two companions of the pathfinders which were scattered around the town, being held hostage by nasty folk from the technic siege (led them to safety to this place. We safely procured a diamond as well to use the suit of armor by beating some ruffians. We set some traps around the house by the windows but apparently they aren't using windows.

IronMan, checking in. I'm a Magus in full plate, with magic missile repulsors and unibeam, burning hands flame thrower, and shocking grasp gauntlet slams. At the moment the only spell I have up is message with the Navi and some others.
Using his com hookup Iron Man commands the armor to move around into a flanking position. Obeying, the armor opens the door next to it and begins to move around the out side of the building.

He then moves in and casts a spell at the mob gathered just beyond the door. A loud bang bang reverberates around the lodge.

I need Tarquin, S'Slarn, Aaroko and the Dino to roll a Fort save

The two guardsmen take a firm hold of their guisarmes, standing ready to strike at anyone trying to move into the doorway, while the robot holds an electrified spear, and stands at the side.

Just to emphasize: the two guardsmen have reach weapons

The woman, finally, weaves a spell, and five missiles of pure force emerge, and make their way towards Tarquin

Dino also has 3 int and understands common via linguistics. Do you want me to use the tricks he knows or can I use verbal commands as long as they are simple to command him?

The loud boom stuns both Aaroko and his companion (Stunned 1 rnd), while S'Slarn and Tarquin are unaffected.

Tarquin throws a bomb in the middle of the enemy mob. The bomb is a direct hit on the enemy goon, blasting his back, and raining fire on his companion and the robot.

No slight was intended with that. It's just me being lazy and absent-mindedly grabbing the first icon that fit the bill for 'armored guy'. It didn't even cross my mind it could be offensive; I've replaced the icons now. DMM is an important volunteer, and he probably has a valid (and I hope it's nothing serious) reason for being absent

Tarquin, what's our play? You bombs will won't be much good in this fog. How will you know where they are or where the rest of the team is for that matter. Iron Man asks as he moves past the alchemist and over to in front of the door. Raising his arm a a small canaster drops from his armor and starts to his as it releases an oderless gas into the next room. Another device near his wrists starts to whirl to life shooting out sparks the ignite the gas filling the room wiht a sheet of fire.
Stilled Burning Hands aimed to get both casters and one Guard.
Damage: 4d4 ⇒ (2, 2, 3, 2) = 9 Reflex DC 16 for half
OK this should burn off the fog surrounding the enemies but not us. Next round Iron man can cast and them move away letting Tarquin step forward and start bombing the casters. The fog will prevent any AoO and give him cover if the Gear's man steps up to attack.

This action is contingent on Tarquin being able to actually get S'slarn out of the other room.
If he was not Iron Man will instead help drag the unconscious Naga back as far as possible.

Clanky moves in around the corner and up to the male caster.

Sorry to hold things up. I think I'm confuzzled because I don't know the icons well enough to understand how Aroden is in the mist and not the baddies. Which icon cast the obscuring mist? It is a 'personalish' spell, which means it emanates from the caster. Is that caster standing in the doorway? I'm aware that some bombs would have burnt away some of the fog.

And if the mist is there, then vision beyond 10' is not happening, not Aroden's spells nor their Suggestion.

Meh, I'll wait to see what happens.
