Raia walks over to the beast and casually takes out her baton. She looks at the pitiful creature and shakes her head, *tsk* *tsk* guess two heads aren't better than one after all! She raises the baton and comes down hard on the still somewhat, intact head. She continues to bash the things skull until it's nothing but a bloody pulp.

When she's through, she flicks the excess blood off the end of the baton, and grabs a relatively clean piece of the Ettin's tunic, to wipe the remaining blood away. She then places the rifle aside, while she picks through the pockets of the deceased creature. Perception: 10 = 10 one of you should search the rest of the room. Raia says as she pulls a dead rodent from one of the Ettin's pockets.

| Unearthing Ulumbia | Fly Free or Die | | Ship Roles |

With the threat permanently eliminated, the party is free to check the room. The only thing of note really is an adamantine hatch that seems to be locked up tight.

Male NG shirren priest mystic 4 | SP 23/28 HP 30/30 | RP 6/6 | EAC 16; KAC 16 | Fort +3; Ref +2; Will +8 | Init: +1 | Perc: +11, SM: +4 | Speed 30ft | Spells: 1st 2/4 2nd 2/3 | Active conditions: None.

As soon as the creature dies, and the hold on Keskodai fades, he take out his notepad and starts writing notes. "Hmm, losing the ability of choice like that was very unpleasant. Brought back painful memories of oppression. I need to take ample notes of this creature and the situation so as to avoid in the future." He pokes and prods the creature for a bit, even cutting it open with his knife to study its anatomy while the others search the room.

Ysoki Mechanic 4 (Bounty Hunter)

Quig moves to the hatch and examines as he tries to discern what it would take to open it. "Hmmmm...."

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20

| Unearthing Ulumbia | Fly Free or Die | | Ship Roles |

Queequig confirms the initial report. Unfortunately with the ettin dead, there seems to be no option beyond hacking to get through the hatch.

Ysoki Mechanic 4 (Bounty Hunter)

Quig gets out his tools and readies himself to attempt to hack the door. "Everyone ready to move on?"

Once everyone is ready (Engineering): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (12) + 14 = 26

Male Android Operative 4 | Init: +6 | Perception: +9, Darkvision 60', Low-light Vision | SP: 2/24, HP: 28/28, RP: 5/6 | Speed: 40' | EAC: 19, KAC: 19, CMAC: 27 | Fort: +1 (+2 vs disease & poison), Ref: +8, Will: +4 (+2 vs mind-affecting & sleep)

Iseph takes a moment to search the dead ettin, as well as some of the crates (if any of them look interesting) while Quig works on the hatch door.

Perception Check DRR: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

Male NG shirren priest mystic 4 | SP 23/28 HP 30/30 | RP 6/6 | EAC 16; KAC 16 | Fort +3; Ref +2; Will +8 | Init: +1 | Perc: +11, SM: +4 | Speed 30ft | Spells: 1st 2/4 2nd 2/3 | Active conditions: None.

"Perhaps there's a computer terminal or electronic panel around somewhere that could unlatch the door?"

| Unearthing Ulumbia | Fly Free or Die | | Ship Roles |

Quig looks for a way to jimmy the door, but it looks like the only option is going to be the computer terminal that Keskodai points out...

Iseph doesn't find anything else of note.

Raia takes a seat behind the terminal and gets to work. Quig, can you come over here and help me? computers: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (18) + 14 = 32 ( I assume Quig offers aid another; making the result +2)

Ysoki Mechanic 4 (Bounty Hunter)

Quig moves over to help Raia.

Auto-aid

that was unfortunate...

Altronus looks distastefully at the battered head. He sighs and waits for the door to be opened.

The electric hum of a powered computer console echoes throughout the bowels of this recessed chamber. A series of thick cords attached to the console connect to a large, gore covered hatch. The hatch firmly seals against the room’s rough stone floor. Several vents surround the hatch, each spewing forth gouts of miasmic exhaust and emitting angry whistles at irregular intervals. Raia and Quig get to work hacking in. It doesn't take long, but they unlock the hatch!

The remains of what must be Snips and Xalak-don (and their gear) lie melted in the area. Searching through this mess of melted bodies finds a credstick containing 1,500 credits, three mk 2 serums of healing, a carbon steel curve blade with an entangling fusion seal (6th level), and a mk 2 ring of resistance.

It's a violent, unfortunate finish, but you are successful. Before long a voice crackles in over your comms. Your orders are to return to Luwazi Elsebo at Absalom Station. Luckily, the Starstone makes for a quick return trip.

Luwazi graciously thanks you for your efforts on Salvation’s End and beckons you to return to the Lorespire for debriefing, indicating that future exploration of the moon needs to wait.

Luwazi then adds that your payment can be claimed: 3,000 credits each. Luwazi heaps praise upon you for a mission well done and is excited to discuss future opportunities with you, if you so desire!

Word spreads, and your fame and reputation grows within the injured Society. Despite the total loss of other survivors, your ability to get into the final hatch makes for quite the story. Hacker-agents make it the talk of the Spire.

Congratulations everyone! I'll report the game today. My puppy is recovering from surgery today so that might either make it easier or harder to do chronicles too. Worst case scenario, I'll get them out tomorrow.

| Unearthing Ulumbia | Fly Free or Die | | Ship Roles |

Just need to get reporting information from Cap and Houstonj.
