You know, you can borrow spellbooks from unspecified NPCs for half the cost of scribing. So instead of buying a scroll for 150, borrow the spellbook for 20 gp.

I might grab Summon Monster later, but evocation is one of my opposition schools.

Oh, and my GM chronicle for "From Under Ice" lets me buy cleats and furs! Haha!

Finished level up. (Now 4, much smarter, and even more boorish)

Picked up hideous laughter and touch of idiocy. Spent the 15 gp to borrow/scribe shocking grasp. (Piper is welcome to these spells.)

Sold the crossbow, and bought a MW darkwood shortbow instead. (Not that the wizard should ever need it.)

2pp for a wand of endure elements.

Updated, now with an extra pearl.

Thiera, why a shortbow and not a longbow? You're proficient, and it's a strict upgrade. Although with no Strength bonus and no ability to get more attacks per round, I'd go with a crossbow for the larger crit threat range, personally.

Reload time is the big reason. You might be right about the longbow, though.

Hey guys, sorry for the long post, but bear with me.

I play a fair amount of Pathfinder. It comes with the territory as a Venture-Lieutenant. It's easy for me to overdue it, and spread myself too thin (for example I'm involved in 12 GameDay scenarios at the moment.) In trying to find balance I want to set some reasoned limits to how much I play.

In real life I run a home game, but online I want to keep it to 6 games; running and playing each of APs, Classic, and Core. This party is by far my favorite collection of PFS characters and players.

I mentioned previously that I'm happy to keep running this group all the way to level 13, and I mean it. After this we have Shades of Ice III. After that? You guys tell me. I'll have to stop adding credit to this GM baby, so I can keep playing with y'all. Thiera is my only core character. (But I guess another is on the way!)

Other than this group, I think the only other games she can't do were local, RL runs of #3-19 The Icebound Outpost and #0-3 Murder on the Silken Caravan.

I'd love to continue with the cold/ice theme (backstory reasons), or anything that relates to or advances Dark Archive (spellbook loot?), but am content to trust you guys know where the fun is and will let me tag along for the ride.

I don't think Auri can do the whole SotSK.
At the end of this scenario she will be level 4, so she'll be 4.1 at the end of the Shades of Ice (even without extra GM credit). I could do the first and possibly second, but would need to substitute in on the third.

Or I could go slow for level 4. I already have one slow XP character. But it really does slow things down a lot.

Actually.. trouble in Tamran also looks good and is a 1-5 I think - so it would be better to do that first.

That said I've just started doing in in standard at the moment, and thus the interest as it looks to be exchange related.
