Darkening at Aerodus' sarcasm, Andando replies in kind "That's BOSS to you henchman." he follows suit and goes in.
"You're not the cook are you my man?" he ask the half-orc. "Just the best food peddler in here right?"
Aerodus glares at Andando before he growls, "Fine... Boss." The way he says the word reminds you have some spitting out something foul.
Aerodus sits across from Lia. After an awkward minute, he whispers to Lia, "Do you think we should get Venator to look him over?"
Lia nods at Aerodus. "I'm worried... what if he's afflicted with Blackscour? Or something else?" She whispers in return.
At the obvious lack of concern Jirani shrugs and follows the others in. With Aerodus and Lia moving to sit, Jirani sticks to the rogue and merely stands off to the side and back of "Octavian" as a loyal thug should.
"I've seen the man, yes. He does lock sick enough... I'll need to prepare some purifying spells from now on..."
Aerodus looks around. "Then he's at risk."
Jirani waits for "Octavian" to lead on, looking to continue to play loyal "tough" and follow only when prompted.
"Good man" Andando says to the orc. Turning to Venator, "Priest, you planning to feed every bleeding sob on the road? Cause if so, we should invest in a soup wagon." His tone is sarcastic and annoyed at first but the wagon suggestion sounds like an actual proffered solution.
He scans the room for the lady, nodding for Jirani to shadow him, he begins weaving among the patrons looking for his contact and if not finding her, will take a table near a back exit. with clear sightlines to the door if possible.
"Oh, yes, that would be appropriate, yes." He sounds serious enough, but keeps a look out for any danger. He gets up and walk around, passing by the kitchen to check if the cooks are doing anything wrong, IF the door is open.
Lia shifts nervously in her seat before taking out her spellbook and poring over it again.
"Yes, I know. I really should have brought something else to read." She whispers to no one in particular.
While Lia reads her book, Aerodus leans back in his chair. He looks around, checking for anything that's wrong or suspicious.
Seeing the woman, Aerodus subtly points her out to the others. "There."
Jirani follows Andando and scans after their other allies and generally tries to project "don,t bother us, we are tough"
Lia looks up from her book where Aerodus is pointing. She bites her lip and looks back to her book.
"What does she want?"
Aerodus turns to Lia. "I mean, there's our client. As to what she wants... I don't know. Let's have 'Octavian' speak with her."
Nodding to Aerodus and Lia from across the room, Andando motions Jirani to follow him as he approaches the lady. Leaning next to her, Andando makes brief eye contact and then waits for her to speak.
"After you." Andando bows and flashes the glaring woman his most winning smile, which, in his opinion is pretty winning.
Lia puts her book away and moves to follow the woman inside.
Aerodus stands and follows, keeping his wits around him and keeping his eye out for danger.
She could have ambushed us at the bolt. There is no reason to do that now, is it?
Venator keeps his demeanor cool as the good employee he is.
Following into the room, Andando looks around and quips. "A nicer getup than the common room."
Jirani offers a nod to Andando's comment but otherwise stay quiet.

Lia's stomach rumbles, but she nods as well.
Aerodus informs the half-orc to bring his and Lia's roast chicken to that back room. As he enters, he keeps his eye on the mysterious woman, his hood still up. He sits down, nodding. He tries to get a vibe of the woman.
Venator tries to put the woman at ease so they can focus on the subject. "You're not dealing with amateurs, you know?"
"Quite a bit, I believe."
Jirani simply offers a shrug.
'So, she's fearful of something. I'll bring this up at some point. See what happens then.' Aerodus mutters, "Not much. Never been in Korvosa before."

Alright then Venator
"Well, this is my first time here... so nothing, really." Lia says as her roast chicken comes around. She picks it up and starts chewing on it.
"Its said the Queen hired the Hellknights to impose her new rules over the city. What else do we need to know?"
Lia pauses in her chewing to look at the chicken with a perplexed look on her face.
...I'm going to have to have a word with the owner, aren't I?
Aerodus takes a bite of his chicken before slowing to a pause to look at the chicken. He takes a critical eye to it.
Hearing Venator's mention of the Hellknights, Aerodus frowns. He says, "So is the queen the reason why you're so nervous and jumpy? And what does this have to do with us?"
Lia puts her chicken down after warily swallowing the chunk of it in her mouth.
"I'd like to know that as well. What does this have to do with our *ahem* employer?" She glances at Andando/'Octavian'.
Jirani raises his eyebrows and decides to speak for the first time, Ambitious. And this is in the name of...freedom?
Aerodus's eyes widen at the revelation. He asks, "Interesting. A couple questions, though. Why do you want her dead? Why do want us to do the deed? And, most importantly, what makes you think we can do it?" He tries to keep his voice down to avoid any eavesdroppers. He takes another bite of his chicken.
Venator pretends to be finding Aerodus last question very, very funny! "Ha, real funny Fonzie! Now stop those stupid jokes before she thinks you're for real!"
"Hellknights, palace guards, and probably magic users. What else does she have to defend her, and what weakness can we explore?"
Lia pales. "I assume you have a better plan than just walking into the throne room and putting a dagger in her chest?" She whispers. "Because that strikes me as being a textbook case of assisted suicide."
