I wish to know two things. When a Celestial Brown Bear is summoned :
- Claws and bite are aligned "good" because of the fact that it's a celestial creature ?
- the brown bear is a large creature but has only 5 feet of reach ?
Thanks a lot,
regards,
Sempaï
You are correct about the claws and bite. A Celestial creature's natural attacks are good-aligned and a Fiendish creature's natural attacks are evil-aligned.
The brown bear having only 5ft reach has nothing to do with the summon spell. Some creatures just so happen to be large with 5ft reach. Size and reach are not connected statistics.

Unless they've changed the Celestial template in Pathfinder, Demon9ne is wrong. A Celestial creature does not become an Outsider (it becomes a Magical Beast), and does not gain the [Good] subtype. A celestial bear's attacks are no more dangerous to a fiend than any other bear's, except for the once-a-day Smite Evil ability which will inflict a bit of bonus damage on any evil creature (but doesn't penetrate DR in any way other than doing a bit more damage). A Celestial creature with 4 or more HD gains DR 5/magic though, which allows it to count as a magic weapon.
So, a celestial brown bear hitting a bearded devil (DR 5/silver or good) with its claws deals 1d8+8-5 damage. If it uses its Smite Evil ability, it instead deals 1d8+14-5. If it instead attacks a barghest (DR 5/magic), it will deal full damage (1d8+8, or 1d8+14 with Smite Evil).

No. If a Celestial creature has high enough Hit Dice to get Damage Reduction, then it's attacks are considered magical for the purposes of bypassing DR. Not Good.

Correct. There are two versions of "Large" creatures, "Tall" (10 ft. square and 10 ft. reach) and "Long" (10 ft. square and 5 ft. reach). The bear falls into the latter category.
This information is from the d20srd. The Bestiary, released in September, may change this information.

I believe that if the base creature has 5+ HD when the celestial template is applied it would get DR 5/good which would allow its natural attacks to work on creatures with DR/evil. Celestial creatures with less then 5 HD do not have DR so their natural attacks would not bypass DR/evil

Having DR/good does not automatically make you overcome DR/evil. Your attacks don't become evil-aligned just because someone needs to have a good-aligned attack to damage you.
