If you have been invited to this campaign, then you are in the correct place.
Here we can discuss Tier, start date, additional players to invite, and other things.
As far as start date goes, I was planning to start in July with a planned break around GenCon. However, I am fine pushing it until after GenCon or even merging this with Game Day VII. Let me know your thoughts. My only hope is to complete it before Ladile is ready to prepare it for her campaign.
I found you original four potential players. There have been a few that I have asked who either already played it or are not available to play. However, if you would like to play with six, feel free to give me suggestions on who to invite (please send any dissenting opinions on people suggested to me via PM).
Waves to everyone...
I just built about 10 new level 1 characters, all of which I'm itching to play, and also have a few favorites in the higher tier for this adventure, so I'm happy to wait and see what others pick. I'm also fine with any of the timings you described.
Thanks for the invite! When is GenCon? My wife is due July 19th so that will be a guaranteed couple day break for me (maybe up to a week, depending on stuffs!)
But of course, as we all know, babies don't exactly follow schedules so the 19th is more of a wild guess. Thus, I'm willing to start whenever and have solid bot instructions ready.
As for Tier, assuming this is Standard, I have both low and high available to play with a 3, 4, 5 free and a 1 (Maria) if we start late enough.
Whee, finally checking in - had a long day at work today!
Thanks again for offering to run this for me, GM Blake. Normally I'm pretty laid-back about what scenarios I play but I've really been wanting to play this one and so I'm very much looking forward to it! My preference would be to play my rather crazy dual-curse time oracle Corona, who will be 5th level once I apply her most recent chronicle sheet. However I also have plenty of other characters I could bring if folks would prefer playing lower-tier. What other few Silver Crusade characters I have are all currently in the middle of other games *but* I do have a new vine leshy hunter that could be Silver Crusade...and would hopefully be a hoot to play as well :)
As far as timing goes, starting in July with a minor GenCon break (for those attending, I'll be right here like usual) sounds fine to me but I'm also happy to push it back until a bit later or even until PbP Gameday - whatever works best for folks.
Concerning 4 vs. 6 players, I'm neutral. I've got a couple of people in mind that I could look at asking if we want to do a full group of 6 but I'm good rolling with just 4 if that would be easier on you, GM.
Hello all! Thanks for the invite.
I have a slew of low tier and a few high tier options available. My high tier Silver Crusade character is committed already, but I'm not worried about the faction aspect for this scenario.
July 6th through July 16th I'll likely have minimal internet access. I've taking a few days off work and I'm getting the heck out of here! Need a break. That aside, July start sounds good to me.
As for 4 vs 6, I don't see an issue either way. Currently, I don't have any suggestions for you though.
Umbrato is a Scrollmaster/UnRogue (Profile lists him as level 3 still I believe. Working on leveling him up to 4).
Manathiel is a Teleportation Wizard. I believe his profile is up to date.
Depending on when we start I may have other options in that range as well.
That sounds fine to me. My two candidates in that case are:
Claudia Treeskipper, grippli magus 4, can also use her tongue to deliver touch spells from 10 feet away, can convert ranged touch spells to normal touch in order to deliver them
Zinta: human arcanist 5
Both these characters are pregen/GM credit babies ready to leave the wrapper. I have a slight preference for Claudia.
edit: ninja'd by RePete. Claudia is relatively capable as a martial and/or flanking friend for a rogue.
That shouldn't be a problem, Ladile.
I was a little concerned about running it high tier for 4 players, but now that I've begun to prepare it, I see that the GM that ran it for me used the high tier opponents. *eye roll* No wonder a party of 6 1st level characters almost TPK'd on the first fight.
A young woman with dirty-blonde hair and pale green eyes wanders in. A chicken, of all things, trails along some few feet behind her.
"Hello? Am I in the right room?"
I know we've got a bit until we start but figured I'd go ahead and dot in as Corona. I'll try to get her properly updated to 5th a little later this evening :)
A small man sits on the far side of the room, repeatedly folding and unfolding a scroll into various shapes. Pausing at the sound, he looks up to the blond woman.
"Well, that depends. What room are you supposed to be in?" he inquires, before going back to his task.
Need to spend my 11 skill points still, but other than that and a minor purchase or two, profile should be up to date now.
Corona, I have a 'Chosen One Paladin' that follows the teachings of a chicken. :-P Love the familiar
|Hamish the Bard|
A stern looking muscled half-elf sets his pack down and looks around, "a small and effective group, excellent. I look forward to raising your spirits and... maybe your bodies* if need be."
A couple purchases need made and double checking of my last leveling will get him good to go.
*Disclaimer, Hamish in no way shape or form will ever know resurrection or any spell like it. Please don't die.
Silly me, Corona needs one more chronicle to get to 5th level but that's okay - seems like this one would be a good one to bump her to 5th!
That will work fine for me, BT. Thank you again for offering to run this! :)
(Updates on my own games to follow in a bit once I get home from work >.>)
