[PFS Quest] gfvelastegui's "Phantom Phenomena" (Inactive)

Bizarre phenomena have tormented the people of southeastern Ustalav for decades, and these events become stronger and more dangerous every year. Hoping to uncover the origins of these flashes of red lightning and spectral hauntings, Dr. Quolorum from the Sincomakti School of Sciences has set out with a team of able-bodied assistants. Can the PCs help the professor unlock the secret that dwells above Lantern Lake?

Phantom Phenomena includes six adventures that take the PCs to a superstitious village, a lightning-scarred woodland, an ancient Kellid monolith, a haunted manor, an occult university, and finally into the storm-choked mountains.

We are going to play the six adventures in order, just for flavour.

While Amiri is coming closer to the pit, a medium monstrous humanoid jumps from it and attacks Amiri surprisingly. Amiri falls unconscious.

The medium monstrous humanoid charges against Kyra, it is screaming all the time. Kyra feels weak, slow and really bad wounded . Kyra has 2 HP. She took 1 damage with centipedes and 10 damages now.

Mavaro, that is ok.

Adowynn attacks, but fails.

The creature attacks to the closest enemy. Club: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 Perception: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 Then, it walks away next to the pit. It keeps screaming and making noise.

Next in this turn: Amiri (wakes up), Erasmus, Rivani, Mavaro and Kyra. Startig the new turn Adowyn.

Aw, it 5' stepped. There goes my chance to stand up without provoking

Amiri comes back to consciousness and for a moment, isn't sure sure what exactly happened. But she quickly remembers the creature that leapt out of the well when she sees it coming back her direction.

Unable to maneuver safely, she instead snarls in rage, reaches back and draws her sword while still laying on the ground, and takes a mighty swing, trying to cut the thing down at the knees.

move action, draw weapon. Rage! Melee power attack from prone.

She does not make a move to pick up her torch, dropped when she was attacked, instead holding her sword ready, in case there are more.

"There more of 'em in there?" She asks, looking at the hole in the floor suspiciously.

Rivani search the room but she can´t find anything else that Amiri found before. There is a round iron lid. It is leaning against the wall.

i channeled twice the one time, and once just above a few minutes ago...3 times total


The GM was still in rounds, so only allowed you to get one off, before we got jumped 'by surprise' again. Thus why Amiri's on the ground once more 8P

Adowyn attacks twice, but fail. Then, she gives the order to Leryn to attack and it deals some damage. The try to trip fails.

Rivani knows that these creatures attack and live in groups. There should be more of them. Then, she attacks, but fails.

Erasmus frantically punches the creature. He does some damage to the creature.

Finally, Mavaro comes to kill the creature.

Kyra channels holy power to heal her friends.

Kyra 13HP, Amiri 1 HP and Mavaro 12 HP. Kyra has channeled twice in this battle. Amiri, did you count the extra HP you took in rage? Let me know if I am correct.

There are noice and screams coming from the pit. Next to the round iron lid there are tools and other stuff.

Amiri slowly gets to her feet, an angry snarl on her face.

No longer fatigued, anyway... Had a nice nap! =)

"Little bastards keep coming, we've got to plug that hole!"

She grabs her sword, then steps over to the iron lid.

Stand, grab sword, 5' step

Am assuming the lid is the right size to fit?

"Someone help me with this." She says, as she draws on her inner strength and tries to move the thing over to the hole, before more of the creatures come leaping out and knock her unconscious.

Not sure how hard it is to move? Or how far we can move it in a round. Will include a couple of strength checks just in case we need multiple efforts.

All of you work together and move the round iron lid the distance of 5'. You notice this thing is in fact very heavy.

On the floor, you see some bags labeled as alchemical cement, next to them are some tools. The noice coming from the pit is growing.

Rivani is now fatigued, which means she's got a -2 to str & dex and can't run for eight hours. Considering her base str of 10 I suggest she tries to find other ways to help the team cuz che may very well end harming the effort instead
