Shalya coughs and has trouble keeping her breakfast down and has no other choice then to get out of the cloud
Clandelve , being made of sturdier dwarf stock just snorts a bit and then draws and throws a hammer at the creatureMiss chance Clandelve's hammer throw, low is miss: 1d100 ⇒ 95 and just barely manages to hit it. The hammer bounces of the creatures though skin doing a lot less damage then expected (DR, it looks like you threw a normal hammer) and moves out of the cloud
Heinrich then - being a though dwarf himself - manages to take down the dretch with just a bit of tearing eyes and moves into the room to check for the source of the chanting coming from within Not sure where you wanted to move, I've moved you just outside of the cloud for now, seemed to make sense, but doesn't see anything that could be causing the sound.
I'll treat attacks made after the dretch went down as readied attacks for now, I could have the rest take new actions, but in order to keep things moving (and I'll expect most to ready for an attack anyway since there's nothing visible at the moment)
As Kalaron, Cogstadt and the bearded human shake off the effects of they look around , ready to lay down the hurt on anything that might appear.
1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Suddenly the chanting stops and out of no where 3 small earth elementals appear and start to attack
There's a bit of an issue with Kalaron's reach..but his attack misses their AC anyway, so no problem there, Cogstadt might provoke when he fires his crossbow..but they'll just not take the AOO ..so no problem there either
At the starting appearance of the elementals Kalaron swings his axe through the air but fails to connect with any of them.
Cogstadt fires his crossbow point blank at one of them, but his bolt is harmlessly deflected by it's rocky hide (doesn't hit AC)
Archibald slams his staff at the head of one of them and manages to hit, knocking off some pebbles
green to hit AC Heinrich: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 6 + 1 = 21
blue to hit AC Archibald: 1d20 + 6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 6 + 1 + 2 = 18 They have tremorsense..so all though I'm not 100% sure they shouldn't get the miss chance from the fog I'm assuming that since they don't need to see to be able to target they are not effected by it, I could be wrong..making a judgement call on it for now
red to hit AC Archibald: 1d20 + 6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 6 + 1 + 2 = 11
One slams his fists down Heinrich but it just bounces of Heinrich's though armor
Archibald is less fortunate..one of them slams his fist down onto the ground next to him, which he can easily sidestep..but doing so he walks right into the attack from the other side
Damage Archibald: 1d6 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 1 = 6
Then from above and a bit behind Heinrich, hovering above the doorway a strange creature appears turning visible as it moves toward Heinrich, it's claws outstretched and ready to try to take Heinrich apart.
This unnaturally graceful creature has a bulbous fungoid lump for a head, spiny insectoid wings, and a tangle of spiky, clawed legs
to hit Heinrich flatfooted AC: 1d20 + 14 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 14 + 2 + 4 = 31
hitting Heinrich while he's still unaware with one of it's claws

Grab vs Heinrich: 1d20 + 15 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 15 + 2 + 4 = 23
it's claw not only biting deep within Heinrich flesh but also grapping hold of him, clamping on like a vice
Extra damage Heinrich: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 5) = 9
and a DC 18 fort save or loose 1d4 ⇒ 3 strength 1d6 ⇒ 1
It then tries to hit with it's other claws as well
To hit AC Heinrich claw 2: 1d20 + 14 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 14 + 2 = 31
damage Heinrich: 1d4 + 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + (4, 4) + 4 = 15
To hit AC Heinrich claw 3: 1d20 + 14 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 14 + 2 = 21
To hit AC Heinrich claw 4: 1d20 + 14 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 14 + 2 = 20
but only 1 of those hits as well
I guess I could have been mean and have it release the grapple as a free action and made the grapple attempt on each of it's hits and try to do more damage..but it seems like a ...cheap way to fight, so not doing it for now. But it could be a lot scarier. The added +2d6 damage is sneak attack damage in case anyone has anything against that

Heinrich struggles to get out of the grasp of the flying big insect like thing but doesn't manage to get free
Archibald summons an earth elemental that glides through the wall and tries to bull rush the thing away from Heinrich..I'm not 100% sure if it provokes since it's holding onto Heinrich with a grapple, but since it's an AOO I think you can also opt to just not take it..so as long as he doesn't take the AOO there shouldn't be any conflict but finds out that the (it's still flying btw, it looks like you didn't use earth mastery..which you indeed do not get to use, but you also get a -4 penalty) thing is much tougher then it looks (doesn't beat it's CMD)

K..if I got this right, with the bonus 8 hps he got from the stance and the 2DR ..Heinrich is at -1 hp now? Since he would have been at 0 last round without the bonus hp. Kinda important right now since the elemental will be ordered to attack someone else now as opposed to keep pounding at Heinrich if he's still up. The cloud dissipates and doesn't obscure your sight anymore
Shalya continues to be to sick to contribute to the immediate combat..but she's starting to pull herself together..soon she will be able to do what she wants again
@Archibald, unfortunately..that's not how pearls of power work. As it is a magical item, it takes a standard action to activate it to get a spell back
@Archibald at the moment you wrote your action, it's not possible to attack the insect unless you move your elemental by having it glide through the floor to the other room, which might be a bit difficult to explain where you want to have him moved since you can't see that much in there from where you are..and to be honest I think it might be a better move to go for the elemental right now ..so going with that for now.
Archibald's summoned elemental smashes through the other elemental in one powerful blow, sending pebbles and dirt flying everywhere.
Archibald then sends a few magic missiles into the bug
@Clandelve, you are not flanking with the elemental, there's a wall in between the insect and the elemental..and even though the elemental can glide through stone..I don't think that allows for it to flank
Clandelve steps onto a workbench (I think you can 5ft step onto difficult terrain, right?) and does a one-two combination attack with his waraxe and his spiked shield but the agile creature just flutters to the side and then it's though hide deflects the glancing blows that Clandelve is able to deal it (both attacks don't hit AC)
Cogstadt moves to try to hit the remaining elemental but his blow isn't hard enough to damage the elemental (doesn't hit AC)
Heinrich groans a bit as he has nightmares of claws invading his unconscious and behind those claws is a Black Goat

Agreed the bug is a MUCH bigger problem that the elemental it summoned. We need all hands on deck up here...I could really use a flanking buddy. I won't be able to attack this turn, because I have to double move to even get to the enemy. Perhaps Cogstadt can take the elemental's place, and next turn Cogstadt also moves into the small room up north so I can 5-foot step and flank with Clandelve?
Shayla moves up the stairs and ends up next to Archibald's earth elemental.

Clandelve Hammerhand |
I wonder if it's a better idea to lure it out there. Heinrich and I are effectively neutralized, and it's going to look for new targets outside, hopefully. Half the problem is that very few of us can attack it at once. As far as I can tell, I'm the thing's best friend until it tries to harm me, and I don't even get additional saves.
