Old Iron Tyr waves at the man and boy. His halberd is out, but he's using it like a walking stick. "How's it going there?" he says. He absent-mindedly scratches the scales on his neck, still itchy from just getting healed. He glances at Delphinia and Ilyjah. "This social stuff seems more your thing." He looks around for Saarai, but doesn't say anything.

He can't roll high enough to beat Saarai's stealth, so I'm not going to bother lol

Scarab Sages

Stealth only works when there's something to hide behind (and party members don't count) you are in a sewer tunnel with nothing to hide behind..so it just looks like your are trying to sneak cartoon style through an open area right now

Nadir doesn't see anything that raises his suspicions

Delphinia senses that the men are deadly afraid and offer to treath what so ever, but are trying to put on a brave front

"We are here to make sure nobody who doesn't deserve it enters the sanctuary"

Not sure what you are trying to do with diplomacy here (all though I'm fie with you changing it to an aid another)..they already (sort of) like you and are allowing you to pass them and enter the doorway behind them

So, my idea was that Nadir, being a rather freakish-looking Outsider, doesn't want to cause trouble and tries to hide by lingering at the back of the group. He obviously failed spectacularly, so, I'm going to run with it and see what happens. Sorry about that. One way or another, though, Ilyjah's probably going to have to dismiss Nadir to keep an unwanted incident from occurring.

Scarab Sages

Saarai can't see past the doorway, since you are to far away if you are outside the area of light and the doorway is in the side of a tunnel..the angle just won't allow it.

@Saraai...you still need some sort of cover to be able to stealth...even if you use the distraction of the rest of the party walking by..the distance is just to big (sneak is half speed I think, unless you take a -10 penalty ..so the distance you need to cross from being in the dark to inside is more then you can cover in a single round, at normal speed with 2 moves) Same as Nadir. They will notice you as soon as you walk past them, which isn't a big problem since I don't think the rest of the party will react to you showing up..so they might get startled a bit ..but seeing such competent adventurers remain calm..they sweat a bit, but that's it..now if you wanted to have some fun and bluff and pretend to be scared and scream...they'd probably wet themselves and flee for their lives

If your observers are momentarily distracted (such as by a Bluff check), you can attempt to use Stealth. While the others turn their attention from you, you can attempt a Stealth check if you can get to an unobserved place of some kind. This check, however, is made at a –10 penalty because you have to move fast.

When you start your turn using Stealth, you can leave cover or concealment and remain unobserved as long as you succeed at a Stealth check and end your turn in cover or concealment.

Beyond the door, a short flight of steps leads up into what appears to be the basement crypt of a church of Abadar.
Perhaps two dozen beggars huddle among sarcophagi, some sleeping, some haggling over bits of junk or scraps of food laid out on blankets.

A tall man in clean robes wearing a plain copper mask walks among them. As you enter he regards you coolly and says, “If you respect this sanctuary, I offer you what sanctuary I can. Otherwise, begone!”

Re stealth: I had assumed the tunnel was dark and providing me concealment. My plan was to sneak past while they were watching the party from the other side or something, but it's hard to tell what's possible without a map. If hiding is impossible, I guess i'm just with the party.

"Booo!" Saarai whispers in the ear of one of the guards as she leaves the shadows.

She moves to join Tyr inside.

"I'm having some problems with thugs with spiked chains myself..maybe we can work out a deal. You look like you can handle yourselves in a fight. You get those thugs of my back..permanently and I'll help you with your investigation any way I can. Do we have a deal?"

If you agree, you'll have 2 hours to prepare. Place yourselves on the map where you want to be. If you don't agree..feel free to move outside and back into the sewers.

Going outside and buy more stuff isn't an real option right now since it will take longer then 2 hour to get out, buy stuff and come back here
