Can I ask that we get the chance to prepare for combat a bit, rather than being dropped into the middle of it each time. Kent has buffs and stuff, and I'd like the chance to use them outside of my initiative turn.

Before going into a temple reeking of ammonia and rotten flesh, I would have at least cast Bless :-)

Hello Folks, is there any way we can pick up the pace and put into Delay the actions of those who don't post within an agreed time limit?

I'm just concerned as this is a special with a fixed end date, that we are taking several days for a round of combat and are not going to be contributing much success to the whole thing, and in danger of missing out on some encounters.

Thoughts?

Yes, this is your final encounter, unless you want to face a subtier 7-8 or 10-11 opponent... (and the script says the GM should encourage players below subtier 7-8 not to go and face Lady Arodeth, I'm not letting you all die)

To be honest, this is also less than satisfying for me as well. People are complaining, but are not able to get a post ready each day. Botting characters is not my duty and it's not entirely my fault if things take longer than expected. Look, you earned three Anchor successes where other tables did not even reach one or two. You did a lot to make the last encounter (Lady Arodeth) for the higher tier players much easier. You are about to earn your Vault success before the end of the game (unless you all miss the last Harbringer). For lower tier players it's all about earning Victory Points and Successes, it's teamwork with the other tables. What else do you want?

I'm sorry to say, but some players are not even able to read the Ini list or look at the map and attack opponents which are already down. But, yeah, blame the GM! It's all her fault!

Steady there Baerlie, I think we're all having fun and all making some mistakes. The real source of tension here isn't the players or GM, not really. It's the time-limited scenario that leaves us wishing we'd all had the chance to explore more of the exciting content than we were able to this time.

I'm not sure where that reaction came from. You've said people are complaining, but I only see my post above yours, which is probably the gentlest expression of frustration you could find on a forum :-)

to be fair, it's been more than 24 hours since you posted, and once you had an unannounced break of several days, so I just wanted to prompt you back to the board and move us forward before the scenario finished. Doesn't that seem fair to you?

By the way, what did 'blue' do this round? Did it provoke?

Did Raul's strike kill him? If so, can you end this combat and move us on to the next encounter.
