Master of Swords Marcos Farabellus strides up to the large crowd and claps his hands together for attention. “Welcome Pathfinders, one and all! And welcome to our traveling venture-captains stationed abroad as well our honored guests! I am Marcos Farabellus, and on behalf of the Decemvirate, I welcome you to the Pathfinder Society’s annual Grand Convocation! I shall address all of the attendees later this afternoon to announce some of the Society’s greatest accomplishments over the past year and our plans for the future. In the meantime, I invite you to stroll about the campus, meet with your peers, and enjoy all the sites of The Grand Lodge. We have set up numerous challenges and contests so that you can show off your skills or sharpen them if need be. I’ll send around ushers when it’s time to assemble for the speeches on the north lawn. Enjoy!
Revvy Bitterleaf |
A Male Halfling carrying an small statue of a frog approaches your group with a wide grin plastered across his face.
"Greetings! I see you all fine and tall folk gathered herabout and though that I should introduce myself to you. I am......."
He pauses to let the drama fill out.
"Pudlejumper!" looking to see if has managed to garner any reaction and seeing none looks slightly put out though that is swiftly wiped away as you introduce yourself to him.
Revvy Bitterleaf |
Puddlejumper looks quite excited as he features wildly and explains, motioning towards the yard of the Grand Lodge, where hundreds of Pathfinders now roam and chat.
"Surely you heard by now unless you've being distracted by the smell of the food from the stands here. There are many challenges that you can take part in - a grand occasion to make a name for yourself, or just to compare your skill to that of your fellow Pathfinders, don't you think? Think about it. Bragging rights or just to observe your fellows."
Striking a pose and baring his teeth in a passable imitation of a wild animal,
"There's an animal training contest over there near the menagerie. I'm sure some of you know how to tame a fierce beast!"
Puddlejumper then flexes his muscles - which are not really there - ...or you can try to beat _me_ at a weightlifting contest"
A sudden schooling of his features in a rather animated yet familiar way of telling a story,
"Or you could try the storytelling contest near the statue of Durvin Gest. Well, they call it storytelling but it's more of a boasting contest frankly."
Miming opening a book as he pulls out a pair of reading glasses from somewhere and somehow as reciting from a guide.
"Alternatively, there's the more serious lore symposium that's happening at the Quadrangle, if you need something more challenging to the mind like myself. There's also the obstacle course for the younger and more nimble among you. Or a sleuthing contest if you're good at finding clues quickly. Or a passing interest in all manners of deadly traps? There's a trap mastery contest at the Mausoleum. The choice is yours, really!"
Before the start of the Grand Convocation proper and the speech of the various Venture-Captains, you have ample time to compete in the various challenge. Pick one, then open the spoiler to see what skill or ability check you can do, and roll one of them. Feel free to describe your performance! Let's go with the first round of challenges, one each.
Relevant Skills: Handle Animal, Intimidate, or wild empathy.
Relevant Skills: Bluff or any Perform.
Relevant Skills: Linguistics or any Knowledge.
Relevant Skills: Heal, Perception, or Survival.
Relevant Skills: Acrobatics or Dexterity.

Kajar |
Kajar noisily chews on a roasted turkey leg as he takes in the halfling's pitch.
He wipes his lips on his sleeve and grins toothily,
"I'd like to take a shot at the sleuthing contest. I might be a half-orc, but I'm no half-wit!"
Myrayah |
A contest eh? Games of skill? I never back down from a challenge! exclaims Myrayah, laughing, as she puts down the tankard she just drained of cider, and steps forward. Her accent and the scimitar at her hip hint that part of her ancestry can be traced to Qadira, while her hair (blond at the roots, but turning to fiery red as the curls fall down her back), and skin (the color of polished brass) hint that the other part of her ancestry is considerably more ...fiery. Ifrit
She twirls her wide-brimmed hat (with ostrich feather) so that it lands on a fencepost, and hangs her leather longcoat and the baldric with her scimitar and buckler over the same fence.
Let me see that obstacle course!
As she strides past Puddlejumper she pats him on the head.
Cute frog statue, old-timer. Won it at a carnival?
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (20) + (3) + 9 = 32 Spending one Panache to activate Derring-Do
Is there a description of the obstacle course or can I make one up?
Revvy Bitterleaf |
Puddlejumper glares up at the Ifrit as she strolls past after patting him on the head and mutters something which sounds like
"..wait till I animate it and it ends up swallowing you up whole..see how you'd like that..."before wishing her good luck at the contest
@Myrayah; There isn't one given..I can make on up if you want too....but you can also assume there are multiple obstacle courses and you can make up your own ;)
Myrayah takes to the obstacle course as fish takes to water and clears it in record time earning her free drinks and plenty pats on the back
As she get's her free drinks she also picks up a rumor circulating through the crowd
Rumor:A Foreign Quarter councilman, Lord Omrys of House Ahnkamen, has registered some concern about the Grand Convocation with Absalom’s Grand Council. Lord Omrys feels that the Pathfinder Society is a “weirdness magnet” that brings more trouble to the city than good. He fears that a “Pathfinder Convention” is only going to exacerbate and concentrate the mischief that surrounds the Society, so he has requested that the district guard keep close tabs on the Grand Lodge for the next week. The Decemvirate has been in contact with Lord Omrys and assured him that all will be well.
Revvy Bitterleaf |
Kajar makes it towards the sleuthing competition which is made out from an fake build room filled with plenty of objects. He's lead inside with a blindfold which is then removed after which he get's 1 minute to look around and take it all in before the blindfold is put back and 3 items are removed..then the blindfold is removed again and he has to pick out which items are no longer there..or perhaps were moved to a different location
Feel free to roll one of the checks listed under the sleuthing spoiler Kajar to see how well you do. I realize the heal doesn't make much sense with the description I made up above here, but it works nicely for either perception or survival. If you want to use heal I you can move to a different set-up tent and study a body to see how it died
Buri Sunwalker |
Can one do two contests if he likes DM?
Shame they dont have a drinking contest. Sleuthing it is I suppose, should stop by the lore symposium later, must be interesting...
Very well, thank for your help Puddlejumper. I am Buri of the Sunwalker clan by the way. Says the tanned young dwarf in summer clothes with a strong Quadiran accent. He also wears a strange looking red scale breastplate and an axe strapped to his belt.
Buri is surprised when Kajar decides to go to the same contest. He nods and walks with the half orc to the contest building. When his turn comes he does his best to remember the layout of the challenge when blindfolded.
Survival: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25
Revvy Bitterleaf |
Yes, you can do up to 2 (or more) but each contest can only be "won" twice and we have till the 10th to run this phase of the special so letting everyone go once at one contest of their choosing and then continue with more/other challenges seemed like the right thing to do
Buri goes into the area first and manages a quite successful performance while Kajar wait his turn picking out the missing apple, the re-located flowers and the turned upside down deer head within seconds
As you watch Buri's performance you pick up another rumor from the other people here
Rumor:Strange Artifact: The principal discovery of the sky citadel of Jormurdun has been moved to a strange chamber with no corners along the exterior walls, floor, and ceiling. This is to help shield it from strange otherworldly entities. This year’s keynote address is allegedly about the artifact discovered in Jormurdun, the Sky Key.
Revvy Bitterleaf |
As Myrajah and Buri finish their contests Puddlejumper hangs back to watch Kajar try his own challenge before suggesting you try more of the contests..he's off course not going to enter any of them, because that would be - as he puts it - unfair to everyone else here if he'd end up winning all of them.
Ulfgar Dankill |
Upon the announcement by Puddlejumper, Ulfgar, a short, but seemingly strong dwarf steps away from the beer-stand he was clearly already enjoying. He takes some steady passes towards the weight-lifting contest mumbling.
"Real prowess is shown in combat, not in arcades.".
STR: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 As he stumbles on the weight-lifting stand Ulfgar can barely keep steady. He tries some light weights, but as the beer clearly disagrees with his hand-eye coordination, he quickly abandons the idea of seriously participating and returns to the food stands watching the others.
"Maybe I should have eaten first."
Revvy Bitterleaf |
Just to confirm that Buri's attempt at the lore symposium doesn't result in the standing ovation he was hoping for. Everyone feel free to try another contest btw - and Kajar to finish his first one as well
Puddlejumper walks with you from contest to contest telling you stories about what he did while he was send on mission for the Society but surely he must be making most of these things up..there's no way that he has fought over half a dozen dragons (all though admittingly..not at the same time..or at the same location) or a 4 armed gorrila the size of a house
"And what kind of antics have you guys gotten yourselves into?" Puddlejumper inquires as you stop to get some food for Ulfgar
Ulfgar Dankill |
However, as Puddlejumpers turns to Ulfgar, he notices the dwarf has stumbled upon the obstacle course. Ulfgar has taken off his shirt and mail, and an huge tattoo covering half the upper part of his torso becomes visible.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Despite his obvious drunkenness he does remarkable well. His seemingly random twitches allows him to avoid several of the spinning bars barring the path, allowing him to pass where some others had failed...
I'll let DM Revvy finish and write how far Ulfgar gets, and how it ends, since I don't know the DC.
Revvy Bitterleaf |
Ulfgar seems to be off to a good start and almost takes the lead before he stumbles over his own feet - having to much to drink isn't working out for the dwarf right now - and before he can regain his footing some agile halfling in front of him finishes the course.
Since it won't matter that much right now, DC was 15..so you were pretty close to winning
Myrayah |
Going from party to party and drink to drink Myrayah almost naturally ends up at the boasting contest.
Bluff: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
You guys all did see me at the obstacle course -hic- right? Yeah, of cause you did, how couldn't you. -burp-
Myrayah begins her tale, but the free drinks seem to be getting to her.
But that, of cause -hic- was nothing compared to what I once pulled off in wossname, yeah I know it, oh, it was in Merciful Bay, yeah, that's right, Merciful Bay in Taldor. I was there for, whatchamacallit, a masked ball.
Ya'know, the whattsit, the duke, yeah the duke of Merciful Bay was holding a masked ball in honor the betrothal of his son to a certain Mirella Seastar, and both were attending. -hic-
But ya'know, the young lady was having none of it, her not being into men and all. -burp- So she hired me to get her out of there. I had, whatyacallit, a perfect plan. Tha' ole' Duke's estate was overlooking tha' bay, and I had hidden a boat under the balcony. The swashbuckler's speech is slurring noticeably.
I just walks into the party, in a stolen lion guard's uniform, and a mask of course, planning to ask the lady for a dance, shubtally man.. ma, maneuvering her to the balcony, down the hidden rope, and of we go.
Sho far the -hic- plan. Unfortunately, the ol' dukes son notices something a-what, uh, amiss. He begins shouting for his guards. Sho it comesh to fighting. -burp-
I fenshed with them for a goodly bit, but mostly defensive, as it was still a party and it just doesn't do to poke holesh into a rich man's guardsh. I managed to disharm them, and cut their belts, sho their trousers were flopping around with their ankles. That was quite a sight!
Then the ol' duke himself pulls out an ancient broadsword, and starts dueling me. He really was quite bad at it, but as I was trying to keep myself between him and Mirella, and not trying to kill him, I held back a little. I allowed him to believe he had an advantage, and that he was preshing me back. I let him maneuver me up shome shtairsh, and at the top of those, I took Mirella by the waist, jusht like that, jumped, swung from the chandelier, and right through the window we went, and into the bay. I had her in a friendly merchant ship for Absalom before the guards made it down to the beach. -burp-
Now tell me true -hic- have you ever heard a more heroic tale of derring-do?
I had such a fine story prepared... And roll a 1
After her head clears a little Myrayah remembers the rumour, and notices Buri coming out of the Lore contest, and Kajar coming from the sleuthing contest, and decides that those two are probably smart enough to know what to do about that. She also tries to gather from the word on the street who this Lord Omrys of House Ahnkamen is.
Knowledge (Local): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 20,1,20 what is it with the dice?
She shares this info with the others.
Kajar |
Kajar scans the room, carefully noting how objects are grouped, positioned, and waits patiently as the blindfold is retied, and then removed.
Trying his best to allow his mind's eye to reconstruct the room
Hmmm...
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Buri Sunwalker |
Pfff... The small one have a big imagination. Last time I saw a dragon the only thing I said was: "Yes ma'am, pleasure to serve you." And I consider meself lucky to be alive. Buri grumbles when the halfling is away.
Kajar |
Kajar smiles his toothy grin. Unsure how he fared in the sleuthing competition, he notes several folks congratulating Buri.
Master Sunwalker, your technique is inspiring! Glad to make your acquaintance. I am Kajar, a guide from Belkzen. Should the moment arrive, I would appreciate some direction regarding your perceptive skill.
He is a verbose half-orc, a by-product of his years as a guide for crusaders, scholars, and others in Belkzen.
Kajar looks at the position of the sun in the sky.
I think I'll try one more challenge just to be a sport. How heavy is that thing, Ulfgar?
weight lifting: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Hurmmffff!
Revvy Bitterleaf |
Myrayah messes up her story telling by some burping..which if she picked a story whch featured a lot more dwarves and their drinking wouldn't have been a problem ..but for the audience of mostly taldor minor nobility..it doesn't impress
She quickly makes up for it a bit later while explaining - in great detail - who Lord Omrys of House Ahnkamen is. Her topic isn't of much interrest..but the way she explains her self is very impressive
During the celebatory round of drinks to celebrate she also picks up another rumor:
The Decemvirate has spared no expense on this year's Grand Convocation and has reached out to as many Pathfinders as possible. This is an effort to demonstrate their appreciation to field agents, repair any frayed relationships, and celebrate a succesfull year.
Revvy Bitterleaf |
Kajar's mental recollection of the items around him is suffiencent to recal the missing, changed or relocated items and he wins this round of "sleuthing"
His next attempt at weight lifting is equally impressive. He manages to lift the weight that Ulfgar has such trouble with off the ground. It's by no means effrotless..but in the ends he's effective and this round of weightlifting goes to him
As Kajar is doing his back breaking heavy lifting you also pick up another rumor spreading through the crowd of watchers;
Arliss Hall is full to the brim with visiting Venture-Captains from abroad, The building is rumored to myteriously change its internal layout. The increased comming and going have prompted it to do so with greater egulairity and many Venture-Captains have become lost themselves, wandering the hallway.
Ulfgar Dankill |
Lets use the boasting contest to write some back-ground in topic.
Ulfgar in the meantime has put his shirt and Scale mail, covering most of his lizard-like tattoo, which resembles the holy symbol of Kols.
He takes one of the sausages from the food-stands and thanks the barmaid. He gulps from another pint of beer, which either Puddlejumper or Buri has smartly watered down, and starts his tale to whoever wants to hear it (or is close by at least).
My writing will improve, I promise/hope. English isn't my mothertongue so mistakes like tale/tail might slip in, even after proof-reading, I apologies.
"My name is Ulfgar Dankill, great, great, ... , great, grandson of the mighty warrior Ulgor Dankill. He fought in the Battle for Tar Taargadth, he single-handedly defeated the demon Ewaemal who joined the filthy orcs trying to bring down the kingdom."
"His rich and strong blood runs though my veins as well. Strong dwarven blood, with the stubbornness and fury of the dwarves of old. As a toddler I already fended of an orcish attack, nearly all by myself."
"I single handedly fend of .. seven orcs, twice my height, just with the legs of the chair I was just previously sitting in. I fought them for eight hours before the guards came and finished them off. Heh, they were exhausted by then of course, so it wasn't that hard for the guards anymore."
A grin appears on his face and as he says, "I've never seen orcs so frightened as when they face me."
As Ulfgar looks around, he sees Kajar lifting the weights were he previously failed.
"Nowadays not all orcs are bad though, they have brethren among us."
He raises his pint of watered-down beer to the air.
"A toast, to battles to come, fighting side by side. And to stories to be told about our deeds and our names will be remembered with pride for generations!"
Not sure if I should "roll" for the challenge, I'm nothing with bonus' to knowledge skills, but I did want to "role" this challenge. My "bonus" is -1.
Ulfgar Dankill |
Misread something.
bluff: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (14) - 1 = 13 This should be perform: (oratory), same modifier. Its not leaving a lasting impression. :)
The crowd listens carefully to Ulfgar's tale, the heroic tales of ancestors filled with detail and are often entertaining. Ulfgar's own exploits however, just causes some rolling eyes from most of the crowd, the failure of the dwarf's weightlifting fresh in mind.
When he raises the glass in Kajar's honor, and more in general in the name of camaraderie, many join in and gladly toast with him. He didn't impress much, but the overall mood around him seems nice. People turn to their neighbors and start talking about their own exploits, Ulfgar almost forgotten..
Myrayah |
Myrayah finds a barstool next to Ulfgar, and touches her glass to his.
Nice tale, Pathfinder! Especially as you don't seem the talking type. 7 Orcs? with a chairleg? I'd love to have been there to see it!
I wonder if those brainy types over there can make head or foot about these rumors I keep hearing.
And she shares what she has heard with Kajar and Buri.
Kajar |
Kajar settles in with the others, and gives Ulfgar a wink.
"Hope you don't mind sharing a round with an orc-blood, Master Ulfgar. Don't worry, I am not offended. We can't choose these things, of course."
He offers ale from a large pitcher to his comrades.
"I, too, have faced many orcs, and worse, and I will be glad to have such stout companions on my side! I hail from Belkzen, though Absalom is now home. I am looking forward to being in one of your tales, friends!"
Kajar drains his tankard, wipes his mouth on his shirtsleeve and belches loudly.
I am a native English speaker and you both are doing just fine! If anything is unclear from me I'm happy to elaborate, let me know.
Revvy Bitterleaf |
Sir Laribold Croome, an immaculately dressed Taldan nobleman scrambles for cover behind a table, which his halfling manservant helpfully flips onto its side. Catching his breath, the Taldan fumbles for his monocle before addressing the nearby Pathfinders. “Monsters and villains are attacking all over the grounds,” he states with perfect articulation, punctuated by a crossbow bolt that embeds itself in his makeshift barricade.
“Spread out, patrol the grounds, and snuff out trouble as you find it. If you should discover any clues about what the devil is going on, report back here at the base of Skyreach.”
He pulls his sword cane free from its sheath and raises it overhead. “Look alive, and show initiative,” he shouts before performing an elaborate dueling salute in the direction of an elephant and setting off after it.
In response Puddlejumper yells "I'm on it!" and the little statue of a frog he was carrying turns into a giant sized frog with a saddle which he quickly mounts and rides off on
Where do you guys want to go? Since this is a time sensitive scenario I'll let the first person pick unless you guys decide on a team leader who makes are your calls on where to go or if you can come to an agreement on where to go before I post an update
Possible locations to go are South, North-West and North-East
Myrayah |
Can you give a brief description what we see in each direction? What kind of buildings/people are there? (I assume our characters would know which buildings there are, as we have been partying there). Might help with picking a place. If it doesn't matter, I'm fine with picking at random. In that case, I say south as it is closest to the lodge, about which we heard rumors.
Myrayah shouts at the floating glyph and disembodied voice:
Come down here and fight me, if you have the guts. Only weaklings send minions to die for them.
Revvy Bitterleaf |
Working on getting the map up, since it does make sense that you know where to go...but need to borrow it from somewhere else since the scenario it self doesn't include anything. All though it won't matter a whole lot, it might matter a little bit..so giving you that tiny advantage ;)
Edit, link at the top of the page for an overview of the buildings.
Kajar |
Kajar lowers his crossbow, dismayed as the figment dissipates. He nods towards Myrayah.
"If Master Myrayah's instincts are true, this might be connected to her rumored Lord Omrys. I must admit I was a bit overwhelmed by the festivities, my ears were off when it came to rumors..."
Kajar pauses, crossbow in hand, gathering himself for the challenge ahead.
"Master Buri, the menagerie.. the others can handle that, right?" edited to add Buri to the litany
Though the menagerie might pose a more immediate threat... it is more likely a smokescreen. Whoever is behind this isn't acting out of wanton violence, they must want to conceal another act. No one is foolish enough to fully assault the Grand Lodge as an act of war...
Kajar looks to Buri; though he trusts his own instinct, he senses Buri might hold a greater catalog of knowledge.
"At any rate, we should check out Skyreach and go from there. What say you, Master Ulfgar?"
Is the 'North Lawn' North of the Skyreach building on the map? Just want to orientate. Thanks!
Ulfgar Dankill |
When Kajar turned to Ulfgar, he finds the dwarf standing with a bucket over his head. The dwarf's cloths are soaking wet, but his eyes seem focused.
Isn't Skyreach where we're supposed to report after we found some clues in the other locations? So Skyreach is not part of the 3 locations to possibly visit? I would think the north lawn is between 4 (The Center House), 8 (Starhall) and 7 (Arliss Hall) based on the fact that its almost in the north of the complex and these buildings have NE, NW and S location in comparison to the "north lawn". I'm basing my post on this assumption.
That would seem the better idea Kajar, we even might get a better view from where the attacks are coming. On our way south, we can pass the center house and see what is going on there.
Anyone here heard any rumors about today?
Myrayah explicitly shared hers, I can't assume I heard the others?
Revvy Bitterleaf |
Skyreach is offlimits right now, for an in game explanation just assume there's barrier around it which would cut anyone trying to get through it into pieces or something to that effect
I'm not sure I understand your question Kajar. North is up on the map. Everything below Skyreach is south....so everything above Skyreach is either North-West or North-East. As you can see on the map on the overview post, there are 3 locations available to you guys. South, North-West and North-East (with Skyreach itself being a 4th location which isn't available at this time)
Revvy Bitterleaf |
South it is?
The South Campus extends from the front gates and includes the monument to Durvin Gest and is the place where innocent support staff and visitors are most likely to get hurt.
As you rush forward to see where you can be of most help you see the Statue of Durvin Gest in the distance and you see people running away from it.
As you get closer to check what's making those people panic you see;
This tall statue is cast in the likeness of Durvin Gest, the most famous Pathfinder of all time. Carved in a likeness of the adventurer in his later years - stil dashing and bearing an assortment of scrolls and adventuring gear - the statue stares off into the distance. Beneath the statue, pedestals stand adorned with angelic figures and elaborate friezes showing some of the most memorable scenes from the Pathfinder's long and celebrated career.
The main dias is 5ft above the ground and each of the stone pedestals is 5feet tall.
As you get close enough to make out all these details 2 of the angelic statues start to animate and step of their pedestals, looking ready to causes some mayhem

Revvy Bitterleaf |
Not sure what happend to Buri, but moving this forward now since I'm not sure when I'll be able to update again today
Buri seeing the statues animate and move towards your party takes on a defensive stand.
The statues turn their heads and seem to decide what to attack first, showing a remarkable inteligence for statues then decide to go for you guys and move forward before slamming their stoney fists into you
To hit flatfooted AC Myrayah: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
Damage if hit: 1d3 ⇒ 1
To hit flatfooted AC Ulfgar: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

The swashbuckler was too arrogant to parry and takes a minor hit.
My granny can punch harder than that!
Myrayah 5-foot steps north-east to enable Buri to step into flank.
She then proceeds to slash at the statue using a mad dance-like fighting style from the qadiran desert.
Cold Iron Scimitar: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 131d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 To hell with hardness... Myrayah dosn't know about it, and is way to brash. She'll buy an adamantine scimitar later, if this one breaks.
BTW, how do you want to handle Parry/Riposte? Strictly by the rules I have to tell you that I want to use it when you declare the attack, but before you roll. In this situation that's not really an option.
It seems I made a mistake with my feat(s) - I may not have dex to dmg yet. I'll figure that out later, have to work now
Ulfgar Dankill |
Maybe you might give pre-order for the parry/riposte? example: I'll parry riposte whenever possible/as long as X/...
My character has a reach weapon, do I get to step back? If not I'll likely prove an attack of opportunity during my movement.
Revvy Bitterleaf |
@Myrayah;What I've seen from another swashbuckler, put your parry rolls behind a spoiler block and let me know if you want to parry in case I decide to attack you. If it comes up I'll use it..if it doesn't..well you didn't loose anything other then a few seconds typing more stuff
Myrayah steps into a tactically more sound position, but her maneuver doesn't result in the outcome she was hoping for at the tip of her weapon scrapes off the statues stony skin without causing any damage (doesn't hit AC, so at the moment it doesn't matter if your dex applies to damage. So you have another round to figure it out)
@Ulfgar; it would be a bit unfair to limit you to just this map - since it isn't so big to start with. As long as nobody abuses it (for example try to stand 20 squares away from it with a longbow) I'm fine with you stepping of the map and attacking
