He murmurs to himself, sweat already beading his forehead.

"An elf."

Drinks potion of antivenom, that sounds like the round for him if he is staggered, or is it a move action to retrieve and a standard to drink? In which case he won't get the bonus this round. Although with that roll, I think he would make it even without the anti venom.

The young warrior thinks about the unsettling dreams she’s been experiencing lately.

Any results on the potions/poisons, GM?

Sorry, lost that in the post. The 3 potions are lesser restoration :)

The search for tracks on the riverbank comes up empty. Eadie notices several strong web strands curled up in the tree branches overhanging the ship, but cannot find any further evidence of a trail.

Captain Riverbane shouts a command.

"Prepare to set sail!" and the crew quickly unties from the Hanspur’s Luck and you are underway once again.

The expedition resumes its course on the river throughout the night.

Feel free to post any actions during this time...

The next morning, Lady Riverbane anchors her ship and leads the PCs ashore. She gives you a very simple map

"This is the best I have got. The "X" marks the spot of the last contact. I will stay behind with my crew to ensure they don't fall
to brigands or creatures from the forest. I cannot lose my ship at any cost. It is our only way back."

Eadie spends the early evening cooking fish again for the crew’s supper, before making a request to the Dwarven bard.

“Please play us a tune to dance to, Mr Irontoe!”

If he obliges she will ask each of her companions and most of the crew of the Scrag Fisher for a dance, which she does very badly …

In the morning, like a college kid after an end of term party: blurry-eyed, frizzy-haired and wrapped in her cloak Eadie falls out of her hammock, grunts a curt “ ‘morning” to Malus before reaching for one the potions the tiefling found on the Hanspur's Luck.

Nokazi slurps up his portion of fish stew and kindly asks Eadie for seconds after everyone else has been served. Any fishheads that have been careless discarded by the other sailors are inhaled in a single bite.

Hearing a dancing tune, he turns over a few pots and pans and bangs away like a child at play attempting keep the rhythm.

His belly is full and heart content to contribute to the evening's amusement, Nokazi takes his rum bottle to the deck and stargazes the rest of the evening. Holman, right - one point healed overnight

As the five of you are set on the bank of the river,
you peer into the dank forest.

The captain and her crew wish you well.

The forest here is ancient. Dense masses of leafage impose
an eerie twilight of dark green while forlorn trees speak of
a bygone age where humans wrestled for survival in a land
of darkness. Many thick sheets of giant webbing stretch like
great shrouds around the gaunt trees and groveling bushes.

I will need marching order through the woods, and any special actions, light sources, etc.

Eadie is very pleased to be called a Lady. She *pouts* “I once petitioned a monarch to make me a real knight – but he just ignored me.”

“Anyway, enough of that. Let’s dance!” Eadie finds it much easier to dance by following Rhuul’s lead, while Nokazi’s stick-work allows her to maintain the right tempo.

On a dip near the tengu, she arches her back looking upside-down back at the drummer “Crazy beat, birdman. Crazy!”

On a break, she say to Rhuul. “I’ve adventured with another dwarf before … Brother Grimdoc, from Kravenkus in the World's Edge Mountains. He was your typical hard-fighting, hard-playing, hard-drinking miner.”

Eadie pulls her golden cape over her shoulder to show the others. “I wear this antlered longbow patch on my cloak to honor him.”

Grimdoc is one of the GM’s PCs.
