Dungeon crawl is ok to me, I love good well run dungeon crawls.
Depending on the party final composition I could roll a different character or even play a pregen.

This should be interesting. Enchantment will be my character's big shtick. Should be able to affect most anyone or anything (at the appropriate level).

Alexandria, you don't have to prepare cure light spells, your cleric spontaneous casting allows you to exchange any spell for a cure wounds of the same level. That way you can use that level-1 slot for something different and only change for the cure in case of need ;-)
Nice to have a capable cleric in the team!
Also happy for the arcane power Ss'alat!

OK, as far as what I have:
Dhampir Arcanist 1 (Unlettered/Blood Elemental cold) with 1 XP and 2 PP
Human Witch 2 (Cartomancer/Hedge) with 4 XP, might not work well with pbp
Human Cavalier 1 (Spellscar Drifter) with 1 XP, no PP (failed master of the fallen fortress)
Human Shaman 1 (likely to rebuild) with 1 XP and 2 PP
Undine boon (with no XP)
Vishkanya/Grippli/Suli/Ifrit/Sylph/Undine/Oread boon (with no XP)
I am also considering a Skald (archer) or maybe a Rogue.

Well, given this is a dungeon crawl, we might find some traps there. Having a rogue might be good, and rogues can easily add some melee and/or ranged power, plus they are a good challenge to optimize. But choose whatever you want to play and the GM is ok with, really! ;)
It is interesting we are going to be 2 nagajis in the exploration. It is probable we have seen before in the lodge and know each other. Only think is if we find a lot of undead, oozes and other common enemies in dungeon crawls, which are immune to mind-affecting spells. I personally have no idea of the kind of enemies in the ruins, but perhaps having one spell prepared for other occasions, either for blasting, defending or other kind of crowd control able to affect such creatures may add good versatility to enhance our survivability.

For those of you who don't know me;
I'm using googledocs for the map (linked at the top of the page), you can move your own icon around on the map. Just be careful to not move the map since it will mess stuff up.
Since this is pbp and it can take a loooooooong time to do stuff I'll use a few things to speed it up:
-if everyone rolls their own initiative and goes in the order they rolled it might take a few more days to get through each combat so I will roll for everyone and post in blocks who's turn it is. If your name is up in bold you can post your action. Since it's possible for players to delay on each other I will assume that actions happen in the order they get posted. If you want to delay/ready until after someone else does something just include it in your post and we'll fit it in where appropriate. If you do a ready, please include all relevant die rolls already
initiative will look something like this:
init
Player 1, player 2
Enemy
Players 3, Player 4
If at least 2 people agree on a direction (and nobody is arguing against going there)...that's where I'll assume the party is heading and go from there.
If you want to set up an SOP for walking down corridors (marching order) and who's going to be opening doors/looking for traps, ect.) I'll use that once a direction has been chosen, unless there isn't enough time to do so I'll always assume you are taking 20 on relevant rolls.
If you haven't posted in 24 hours and you are the last to post I will NPC you in to keep the pace going. Most of the time that will be putting you on full defense or withdrawing from combat.
If you are going away for a prolonged period (like a few days/week) - not a problem as long as you let me know in advance and I'll NPC you in. If you haven't let me know and you don't post I'll have your character tag along for a few days and after that he will stay behind to guard a passage way or head back to town.
To speed some checks up I will sometimes post spoiler blocks with a skill and listed DC, if you make the DC you can check what's behind the spoiler and act on that knowledge. If you want to check for something and there isn't a spoiler block you can still do so. There may or may not be relevant information when I didn't put up a spoiler block
These might include, but are not limited to; Perception checks, Knowledge rolls and anything else I think might apply.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

@Alexandria and Ss'alat ; If you could set up a quick reference status bar as Xien has (under his name, where you now have race/class info) that would save me time when I need to look up things (like if I hit you with an attack) and would be rather nice for me to have
Okay, I will do that a bit later. Just need a little lie-down after some exercising and all that good stuff.
Thanks!

@Revvy Bitterleaf:
Okay, got the quick reference thing done. I had to play with it a bit and ended up using spoilers. For some reason everything else I tried looked like a jumble that spilled over on to the other spoilers and text of the "About Text".
Let me know if what I have is cool.
Thanks!

I finally get this build playing for the first time. I've been wanting to see how the Serpentine bloodline powers work against the opposition, so I'll be focusing largely on Enchantment spells to debuff foes and buff allies wherever possible.
Except for my sorcerer, it looks like this party will have a good deal of fighting "punch" to it. Should be interesting.

![]() |

@Xien:
Sure hope there aren't too many undead! I'm sure Alexandra the cleric would do well against those! Crowd control is my focus. Especially since my bloodline allows me to control animals, magical beasts, and monstrous humanoids. And all as if they could speak my language. I'm very excited about being able to give that a go.
The venomous bite is kind of cool too. But, since sorcerers aren't very good at melee, that will be a last resort sort of thing.

![]() |

Well, a skills character able to contribute to combat (specially ranged), might complement us quite well.
I don't know how relevant knowledge checks will be.
As Revvy said we have yet not started, just crossed the initial excitement typical posts.

Checking in, in.
PFS #106336-1. Thanks for the invite!

Welcome Yagi!
Feel free to go to gameplay and join us!
Nice to have a hunter around. I have been checking your skills, which will come of most use, and noticed the +3 class bonus on trained class skills is missing.

![]() |

Thanks, Xien. Updated.

![]() |

Welcome! I think Dylos is not going to join in the end, so I suppose the GM will allow you in.
Why people love so much tieflings and the demon theme? xD
I see one of those in every game, probably the most used race after human in the Society?

![]() |

Aasimmar is probably MORE used, at least in my area. Honestly, I went with it because I have been toying with Intimidate builds as of late. This guy is going to be a Sneak Attack beast, in the long run, using intimidate as he does. He was raised in a dark church, giving him his unnatural presence, but his life has opened up and he is trying to find his path.
I probably go for tiefling more because of the opportunities to get natural weapons. I like having that back-up!

![]() |

I'm partial to anything with Human blood. I have 12 characters that have human blood (3 each Tiefling, Aasimmar, Human, and Half-Elf) and 1 lonely halfling. I will have a Samsaran at some point, I just haven't finalized what I want to do with him...and I have all the elemental races to choose from, but I haven't picked one to play, yet.

![]() |

Revvy, how this 5 feet visibility interacts with low-light vision? Is it doubled as for normal light sources to 10 feet?

![]() |

No no, I mean that I don't get more table top time, when I have close to 80 games GM'd and less than 40 played, I think. Some of my characters need more time at the table, is all. But I love PBP, so it's all good.

Shoveling snow tjis evening. Will post tomorrow afte work.

My travel dwarf cleric will rock in these conditions, what a pitty. Ains... we will have to endure. I can keep intimidating and throwing axes once inside the difficult terrain if we cannot surround the enemy.
As I understood in the path where we are now the difficult terrain still does not apply though.
