Wow everyone made it. Cool. So now comes the case scene. If your not familiar with chase scenes, they are such fun. We go into a pseudo initiative and everyone can try 1 or both of the options listed. If you try 1 and make it you advance to the next bit if you fail you don't move. You can try to do both but if you fail both you lose a turn. If you make it you jump up 2 spaces. I will update the map later with the chases outline then roll initiative.

Seems like we finally found somebody who really loves chase scenes! (The one in Scions of the Sky Key II is actually quite good)

I did a chase in some scenario with an escaped goblin. Was fun with a barbarian. I like it when the game adds subsystems.

It was Rise. I liked it because it suited my Barbarian who caught the goblin. I doubt this one will suit my Investigator, but we'll see. I also liked it because the goal was clearly to catch the goblin, not kill it. Rarely do PFS scenario reward characters for not killing.

Then she tries to slip through the crack.

You can take ten on a climb where you would plummet to your death if you fail. I thought it was around the immediate distraction of combat around you rather than anything else. Happy to be guided by others though. To be fair, the thread I found on this seems to conclude that taking ten in a chase isn't something that should be allowed. link

Kaylee will attempt both, hoping to catch up to their prey.

Kaylee easily bypasses the magical traps! She uses some of the mythic power given to her by the Sapphire Sage to try to stop Neefti!

That moves me forward two squares, pretty sure I catch them. She'll expend a charge of mythic power to get another Standard action for the round, using that one to move forward and her normal Standard action to cast unnatural lust on Neefti. Will save DC 20 to ignore.
