So both Mallick and Ullamon have expressed motive on several occasions. We've at least got some physical and circumstantial evidence that they disposed of the weapon itself.

Is the "ship's lady" involved in this? The bodyguard was off duty at the right time, and he was off with her, so was she assigned to lure him away?

We could approach her with a, "hey we know these other two guys just used you as part of their plan, we want to protect you and put them away," sort of approach.

Right. Which is why I almost think the better solution is to join the rest of the crew in the mutiny. Clearly Mallick, Ullamon, and Shira don't like things the way they are. Azuretta doesn't really care, and Anera doesn't like truckling with elves (even though she's a total softie in the end). Killik won't lift a finger to stop things, Velagon's a passenger, and that only leaves Thanzeril as the only person, besides Captain Veane, who thinks that going to the Mordant Spire is a good idea.

Solving the mystery only becomes a good idea if we let ourselves remain under the thumb of Captain Veane. And why would we do that, if we have another option?

I believe the primary success condition for this scenario is to clear our names by finding the actual murderer. Taking over the ship would be fun, but it won't help us here.

So let's check out the small door toward the front of the hold, where Velagon pointed earlier? We may find proof there.

Whoever killed the emissary may attack us when uncovered. It'd be a nice place to start cleaning the ship.

I decided to move Dylara in the gameplay thread and investigate the small door. It may give us the proof we need. If not, at least we'll know it won't.

Didn't the GM tell us the two unknown places lead to the same thing?

Does anybody need their chronicle before PaizoCon or any other specific date? I will be at PaizoCon and AFK that weekend (July 3-6)

Actually I leave for PaizoCon on Thursday. I will try and get a bigger post tonight. And the next thing started tomorrow. I will be able to lurk, but posting from my phone is difficult. One of my roomies is likely to have a machine of course.

We are almost done Dylara, maaaybe even before your vacation, though chronicles will be a little slower. :)

No, I've been wanting to play Way of the Wicked, and have applied for a couple games at startup, but not been selected. Which is really fine, the right game will come along eventually.

Quite enjoying a new Shackles game actually, and about to start another PFS game with my Pathfinder Chronicler aspirant. I did apply as a refill for a Wrath of the Righteous campaign that is at level 3, we'll see.

Dangit, my weekend and work backlog ate up all my time. I'm back.

The steering wheel spins out of control, lurching the ship to one side. Until the ship is brought under control all non-flying creatures must make a DC 15 Acrobatics check each round to avoid falling prone. Any PC who succeeds at a DC 14 Strength check while adjacent to the wheel on the aft deck ends the effect.

Traceni is able to make steering checks immediately, anyone else will have to move there first (remember that it is difficult terrain at the moment).

Hi everyone!

I'm back a week earlier than expected, but the vacation in Scotland was amazing! It's a beautiful place.

I've just read up on all the posts, and will post something soon ;)

I love Scotland! Definitely worth the trip.

Haven't been there, but there's one thing i like thats from scotland.

I didn't know Alestorm's from Scotland! (Don't know where most of the bands I listen to are from.)

One of my best evenings in Scotland was when we got into Inverness, discovered that the Eden Theater was presenting a live performance from three Scottish songstresses, all named Fiona Mackenzie.

We listened to some lovely work from Fiona Mackenzie of the Open Day Rotation.

Then there was fun music from Fiona Mackenzie of Bosie.

However, my favorite had to be from this Fiona Mackenzie.

That, and recognizing that although eastern Scotland (Borders, Fife, old Fortriu) told ghost stories, western Scotland (Dal Riata, the Hebrides) told fairy stories.

Never been, but I listen to a lot of piping and about to join the local pipers. My niece was in the World Championships last august, & I would like to go watch them live instead of streaming someday.

My best man was a Scot & on his visit he sent me a picture of Wil E Coyote in full Caldoneon gear, hitting two of my favorite things :)
