"As we are travelling together, may I ask where you lived before joining the society?" she asks curiously with a smile "Must be difficult being stuck between an Elf and Human, I assume." as she says this it's obvious that she is showing pity, despite that fact it came come off as a mocking tone.

Sago shrugs, It's not so bad at all. So long as I avoid people who think they're inferior cause of their heritage, then I do all right. Besides, those aren't the type of people I want to hang 'round with anyways. I lived with my mother in Kyonin before joining the society.

Locke spots a giant spider on the northern wing's ceiling. The information's quickly shared, just before Io steps inside the tower.

I moved everyone a bit closer to the tower. The spider's also added. The first to attack it will trigger combat, and I'll roll initiative when that happens.

While Heveel takes a deep smoke, and both Locke and Ruegan prepare for when the spider comes closer, Io throws another javelin. the javelin pierces the spider's head and it drops dead on the fortress's floor.

Combat's over!

Look around in the north wing:
A small cocoon hangs in the webs, holding the remains of an unfortunate dog that fell into the spider's clutches. The desiccated carcass is still wearing its leather collar, which is studded with lapis lazuli stones and has a silver tag reading "Kita."

Head into the west wing:
Most of this wing's covered in rubble. You notice a door in the eastern wall.
