I'm Hiding In Your Closet |
Absolutely interested!
For lower-Tier, I have an Ash Priestess, and for higher-Tier I have either a Hungry Ghost Nun or an aspiring Arcane Archer.

Looks like we have:
Wizard of the coast - Level 6 Investigator
Grimdog - Level 4 Swashbuckler
Serres - Level 5 Telekineticist
I'm hiding in your closet - Level 4 Cleric, Level 7 monk or Level 7 Fighter/wizard
Roderick Xim - Alchemist 5
Luke_Parry - Level 7 Occultist
Without Closet, you are APL 5.4. If they plays a high level character, it puts you at 5.6667, 5.1 if they play a level 4 character. Looks like you guys will be high tier either way, so I'd reccomend one of the higher level characters, I'm hiding in your closet.

JAFO's pregen alias deux |
I will be traveling from Saturday morning until Weds. night (going up north to see the eclipse). I will try to check in at least once a day.
I will hopefully get on long enough to at least dot in gameplay when it opens. but, regardless, I should be home before we begin, so if for some reason, I don't get to dot in before then, I'm not ignoring the game... I will be here.

Hmm...I never "unchained" this character, even though I could. What turns me off about the Unchained Monk (aside from never being one of the people who believed there was anything wrong with the Core Monk) is the sudden and inexplicable loss of Will save bonus and weakening of Flurry of Blows. Are those the only downsides, though?
DM Snider |
I have multiple monks and i only didnt unchain 1 of them and that was only because of archtype issues. When i did unchain it, i noticed an increase in hp and dmg. Loss of saves but that is easily made up with cloak. Unchained as more versatility now with being able to move 30ft and then flurry. He can also gain other abilities like only needing 2 hours of sleep to live and recharge ki.
Serres "Fade" Vahl |
Hey DM Snider, I think Rogar is a solid choice for the group, but if you would rather play your rogue/barb then go for it.
Fade has a solid perception of 21(23vs sound based checks), disable device of 18 and a sleight of hand of 18(or 20 to steal things without being noticed) for the rogue stuff, but he is ranged when it comes to combat, and from the looks of your rogue/barb he is melee and then some. ;) I can see them working just fine together.
Fade is a bit of a scoundrel and a curmudgeon and I tend to roleplay him as a sarcastic jerk, but he never actively does anything that negatively effects the group or an individual. He is fine with push back and if a character is witty and fun or zings him good, he respects that. Feel free to check out some of my previous in character posts for examples of his personality in action.
I have been in games where someone takes the jerk persona too far(or maybe they were real life jerks to begin with?) so I try not to do anything close to that, but he isn't a lovable teddy bear for sure. Just fair warning. :)

Ya i was leaning toward rogar as there doesnt seem to be any heal in the party at all. Even though it isnt his primary roll he can do it.
Jaf0's investigator won't be done in time, so he will be playing the Cleric pre-gen, so the party should be set for healing if you'd rather play the Barbarian.
