"So long... I guess" grumble Illuthion as he looks about, a frown on his face. "So the books are falling apart huh? Maybe we could try the old mending spell before we pick them up, keep them whole before we f&!! around with that choochery" he continues, picking up the Jistkan manual on the floor adding "We need to look around again before we leave, check out if we missed anything. Like at the bottom of that pit. Betcha there's s$** down there yo."
He quickly begins flipping through the pages, grumbling: [smaller]"More Jisktan huh. Figures." But the return to life of the once-stoned golem-maker catches him by surprise. In Jistkan, he hails the man, saying: "No. Do you?"

"No, I do not, he is our enemy". Ocosten looks towards the tiefling.
"I am Ocosten, sixth artificer to the grand master of the Jistka Imperium. I request you take me to this Saphire Sage. You do this, and I shall unbind whoever you wish."
Lerocnel, PbP Ver. |
Come to think of it, Lerocnel's Comp. Language Envoy ability will also have run its' course; Lerocnel will probably have one of his fellow Pathfinders use the Scroll of Comp. Lang. on him to help organize everything in the complex. IE. -1 Scroll of Comp. Lang.
After Korj melds out of mortal sight, Lerocnel/Elfmask will say, "Swift and safe travels to you, Korj from another plane of existence.", under his breath before assisting his fellow Pathfinders with examining the room.
When Ocosten had made his awareness known to the party and has conversed with both Illuthion and Sarsczek, Lerocnel/Elfmask will mention to the newly unpetrified man, "There is someone who could be unbound but his state is that of being mentally unwell, despite being in good physical health; is there something that you might suggest for helping to mitigate such a condition, Ocosten, Sixth Artificer to the Grand Master of the Jistka Imperium?"

"Well, it depends on the ailment. I would suggest seeking out a healer." He deflects the question, and follows up on his request, "So, will you take me to this Amnifus you speak of?"

Illuthion looks to the others. "If he's letting cranky McChooch go, I don't see why we couldn't take him to meet with Amenophus. If you don't wanna, now's a good time to say something. Like "Yo Chooch, I disagree"."

"You unbind missir Illaton and I'm sure missir Amanafis wanna talk to you. Iff dis gem is done lookin around we can take you back if the ovvers are ok wiff dat."
Are there other energies within the ruins to inspect with the gem, or areas we haven't looked through?
He looks over at Illuthion. "Can we take Illaton too? He seem lonely."
Dunno if anyone else is interested in chipping in on a heal scroll for Illaton, but I certainly would.

Illuthion frowns, but finally shrugs. "Sure"

Sars, appreciate the gesture, but don't worry about the scroll. You did enough for second prestige point
"Then it is so, I release Illaton from my control. Lead on, take my to this sage"
Conclusion
Once the PCs have dealt with Korj and addressed the elemental energies stored with the elemental gauge, they are free to explore the Deep Sky complex further. If they communicated peacefully with Korj, the ozimat leaves Deep Sky along with any newly created ozimats.
Primary SuccessThe PCs complete their main mission by exploring the outpost and dissipating the elemental energies in the elemental gauge. Doing so earns each PC 1 Prestige Point. Success
Secondary Success The PCs successfully complete their secondary mission if they accomplish at least two of the following conditions: parleying with the ozimat Korj; curing the genie Illaton of his madness; freeing Illaton from his binding to Deep Sky by convincing the unpetrified Ocosten to release him; or bringing Ocosten back to the Pathfinder Society. Completing two of these tasks earns each PC 1 additional Prestige Point. Success
