As Zommy tumbles past the thugs, Kyras swings wildly. The door frame creaks as yet another blow, this time by Mikail, smashes into it. Thorson is more effective, landing a blow on the big half-orc.

After grunting from the blow, Mezuk bellows, "You ain't gonna get me that easily. Come on, wimps! Step up and fight like men!'

He moves towards the crouching halfing, pulls his heavy mace (holding the greatsword in one hand), I don't need the big stick for a little target, now do I?" He attacks.

Finding himself underneath a table that's being smashed to bits by a half-orc with another enemy behind him, he rolls between Mezuk's legs and tumbles for the far corner where some stairs appear to be?

As he rolls through his legs, he holds on to his cowboy hat as he reaches the corner to see yet another enemy next to him and gives out a loud sigh, "You have ONE chance to put your weapons down!" he shouts at Mezuk, lifting his light crossbow to fire at the half-orc, ignoring the enemy directly next to him.

Note that the stairs are behind a door. Not the easiest to see with everything being different shades of brown. Also, tumbling takes 2X distance, so in a move action Zommy can only go 10'. I moved you in front of the door, which is as far as you could go. Will wait a little while before I note the results of the tumbling, to make sure this is what you want. You will provoke from both the 1/2 or and the mook from there.

I thought it might be, but then I was confused at how one of the Mooks got moved in there. He seems to be walled off from the rest of us? If I can't get to the corner, I'm currently next to a window, yes? I'll do the same actions just without the crossbow shooting at the end. Roll next to the window, turn to the half-orc, demand that they put their weapons down with my little crossbow pointed at his face.

Or, use a standard action to open the window if it's unlocked, and then turn to him and point my gun and demand them to lay their arms down.

Luckily for the halfling, the mace swings by his head, missing. Zommy looks to the window, and not seeing any readily available means to open it, threatens Mezuk.

Mezuk just chuckles, and says, "You are pretty funny for a little fellow. Perhaps I kill you last."

Zommy continues to stand in the same spot, focusing his attention to Mezuk as he watches the big humanoid take swings at him but getting nowhere close as Zommy flipped around his attacks. "Is this what you meant by kill me last? Waiting until you're on your deathbed to strike me, ya big OAF?" he taunts the half-orc, motioning his allies to come in and flank the mook in front of him.

Once your turn is posted, always go ahead and go for it. Sort of do it in "block" style so as to keep things moving. So, Thorson, you are perfectly fine!

Adeah fires, but seems concerned about the mooks threatening her. Mook #1 swings at here AOO: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19 and hits for: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5. Evidently her concerns were warranted.

Thorson looks a mite annoyed as he swings at Mezuk, and hits. Mezuk looks a bit... wobbly right now, though he is still standing.

This is enough to drop the halfing, who only wanted to try and get along. His blood is dripping on the floor, and his vision appears to be somewhat glazed, but the obvious ferocity showing on his face must be sustaining him.

Zommy feels everything slow down as time comes to a standstill, letting out a small exhale from his lungs as he steadied his hand, mid-slide, and fired off a bolt directly into the ear of the half-orc.

This large office doubles as a private parlor for Mahjub Mahdi to conduct his legal but objectionable business. The room’s furnishings consist of a round table with two comfortable chairs, a desk with a metal-banded strongbox beneath it, and a refreshment cart. Two paintings hanging on the north wall both depict the bustling harbor of Katheer.

Madhi runs up to the group after carefully straightening his clothes and running his hands through his braids. "Friends! I am so glad you could come to my humble shop!" he exclaims, stepping on/over the two dying thugs. "What can I do for you? Are you interested in a fine slave or two?" He then looks at the two halflings, "Or are you selling?"

Looking a little out of sorts, Kyras adds "The halflings are our friends, not underlings. We are just looking for information."
Kyras will let someone else use the wand on Mikail since he can't use it.

Zommy also reaches into his backpack with one hand, knowing exactly where he keeps his wand of CLW as he keeps an eye on the slaver with his crossbow, tossing the wand to Thorson so he could use it at will.

Use my wand whenever. Obviously on me I'll remove the charges, but after that just let me know how much to subtract. I have 48 charges.

same here.. after the three that were just used, my wand has only 5 charges left. I can subtract what is used on me in the future and just need to be told how much more gets used

Inspiration (Ex): An investigator is beyond knowledgeable and skilled—he also possesses keen powers of observation and deduction that far surpass the abilities of others. An investigator typically uses these powers to aid in their investigations, but can also use these flashes of inspiration in other situations.

An investigator has the ability to augment skill checks and ability checks through his brilliant inspiration. The investigator has an inspiration pool equal to 1/2 his investigator level + his Intelligence modifier (minimum 1). An investigator's inspiration pool refreshes each day, typically after he gets a restful night's sleep. As a free action, he can expend one use of inspiration from his pool to add 1d6 to the result of that check, including any on which he takes 10 or 20. This choice is made after the check is rolled and before the results are revealed. An investigator can only use inspiration once per check or roll. The investigator can use inspiration on any Knowledge, Linguistics, or Spellcraft skill checks without expending a use of inspiration, provided he's trained in the skill.

Inspiration can also be used on attack rolls and saving throws, at the cost of expending two uses of inspiration each time from the investigator's pool. In the case of saving throws, using inspiration is an immediate action rather than a free action.
