Muna winds up and casts light on the end of the rope. Depending on what she sees, feel free to have her cast light on a pebble and drop it down further or whatever.

Muna tries to see any detail in the room she can then backs away from the hole and says, "Well? Who's got a rope?"
The rope stump crumbles to dust as Kaleless touches it, a testament to its age. The piton is soundly secure, though, and Kaleless lowers the rope down the shaft.
There's still a 10 ft drop from the rope to the floor. A deliberate fall and a DC 15 Acrobatics check will negate the fall damage. Or, you can tie two ropes together.

"Did somebody say...'rope?'" Xanac asks rhetorically as he flourishes an exquisite bloodvine rope.
"Okay, he made that look far too easy... who wants to go next?" If no one immediately volunteers, Laureglyn will shimmy down the rope and jump down the last 10 feet. taking 10 on climb and acrobatics
Scrambling down, Laureglyn and Kaleless see mirrored images of a warrior in side profile, facing inward, which are carved on an ornate pair of stone doors in the west wall of this square room. The figure is depicted wearing padded armor, with a scarab-shaped shield on the arm facing the viewer, and a raised khopesh held aloft in the other. A crumpled humanoid body lies directly in front of the doors. A hint of decay hangs in the air, and a dried stain mars the stone floor under the body.
Heal DC 12:
You identify the body as that of a male human or half-elf who obviously died down here. Both of the body's legs are broken from a fall from a great height, and the unfortunate man apparently crawled to the doors before he expired.
A thorough search of the corpse:
The corpse's gear has suffered decades of rot and rust and is mostly unusable, though a thorough search yields a couple of metal pitons and a usable hammer, as well as two vials of alchemist's fire that have remained miraculously unbroken.

Rathh refuses to climb down the rope until it is adequately secured and has the last ten feet tied with his own rope.
"Can we double the rope to ensure it will hold me?" he asks.
Once he is satisfied he won't fall, the massive man begins his descent. Despite his massive girth and the groaning ropes, he appears strong enough for the task.
I'll take off armor and lower it down, then take 10 on a knotted rope for an 11 total.

Right, we have lots of rope, couldn't we just tie it all together and make the whole thing a DC 5 check?
Acrobatics if for some reason not...:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
The best I can tell, knotting a rope reduces the overall length by 10 ft., so that's a viable solution. The DCs are then 0 in the shaft and 5 the last 10 ft. I'll retcon Muna's fall damage.
Patros, Rathh and Xanac reach the bottom of the shaft as well.
Laureglyn notes "I already have alchemist fires... would anyone else like these... useful to have against swarms and cold using creatures. usually good against undead too." He takes the hammer and slides it into his belt, and puts the pitons in his pack.

"I already have some, but I'll take them if no one else will," Xanac shrugs.
Yeshre slides down the rope, and pops up as soon as she gets down.
"So what's down here? Dead body? Gross. I'll take a fire please. So has anyone poked this with a stick yet?"
She walks over and pokes at it with her rapier. If it doesn't jump up and nothing scuttles out of it, she starts to search it.

Muna examines the rest of the chamber they are in.
Opening the doors requires some brute force like the last ones. The walls of the ten-foot-wide corridor beyond feature bas-relief carvings of great battles. Armies with spears and shields clash at the direction of generals, while other leaders direct troops from chariots that are ruthlessly overrunning their enemies. Engraved stone double doors stand at the opposite end of the hallway.

Xanac takes out a slender scroll of Tian mantras and reads it to himself. I use a scroll of mage armor.

Suddenly, the noise of a creaking wooden chair can be heard just behind Rathh!

As the arrows erupt from the wall, Rathh stands back, glad he wasn't in the barrage.
He accepts Patros' wand and heals him with it.
Feel free to roll your own heals and assume I've used your wand on you. ALSO, I don't have any channels to help with. This build is not a good-aligned cleric.
When you're done healing:
Open the next set of doors reveals a chamber, wherein hangs a faded tapestry on a wooden frame on the western wall. Faded and delicate, the tapestry depicts a middle-aged man, accompanied by a woman and two children, with a small estate in the background. To either side of the tapestry are two small pedestals, upon which sit two dead and preserved animals. Stone double doors exit the chamber to the north, south, and east.
Linguistics DC 10:
Studying the tapestry, you can discern several symbols and hieroglyphs that suggest that Akhentepi's family befell some tragedy, possibly murder or sickness, and he was left widowed.
If someone beats the first check: Knowledge (local) DC 15:
You can infer that the family is probably interred somewhere else and that this tomb was prepared much later, after Akhentepi's continued successful military career.
