Muna feels naked as the beetles approach, finally realizing she has forgotten to don her mage armor.

Panicking, she resorts to her innate ability to melt into shadow.

Using Dissolution's Child to go invisible for 1 round. Invisibility doesn't allow me to move through an enemy space still, right? If I can move I will.


Rathh blesses the party, but even that isn't enough to help Patros strike through the beetles thick chitin. Xanax manages to find a week spot to hurl a rock at, however.

@Muna: This sort of thing is poorly described in the rules, but I tend to rule in favor of realism, and since the beetles have zero chance of detecting you, you can move as you please.

@Kaleless: The beetle is in a 5 feet wide hallway, and Patros is in the way. You can try to tumble through its square into flanking, and then I'll apply your attack.

The rough passageway does indeed lead out through the secret door you couldn't open from the other side. Other than that, there's nothing to find here.

Kaleless finds no traps and opens the door. This room holds several neatly arrayed chests, boxes, and urns. The dust of centuries covers every surface. The only exit is the stone double doors you entered from.

Kaleless disarms the magical trap, not knowing how close he was to screwing it up (right on the DC :)).

Most of the goods in the chests, such as once-fine clothing and sealed jars of food, no longer have any value after the passage of centuries, but among the spoiled and ruined grave goods are several salvageable items of value, including two vials of silversheen, a masterwork longbow, 10 cold iron arrows, a gold scarab clasp worth 50 gp, an onyx and silver holy symbol of Pharasma worth 100 gp, a silver hand mirror worth 35 gp, and a wax-sealed clay urn of nard worth 75 gp.

Patros heads down the hallway with Kaleless, blade at the ready for any trouble.

Muna sees no danger and opens the door. A sarcophagus covered in gold leaf rests on a raised stone platform in the center of this chamber. The casket's cover is carved the likeness of an adult man with his arms crossed over his chest, and covered in thick coat of dust. Two ornate chests sit beyond the dais in the northeast and southeast corners, and between them stand two large funerary urns. The sole exit is a door to the west.

You are staggered, though, so I'll let you retract your attack to avoid falling unconscious.
