Pregen Dragon! |
You lead me to this mages books and in turn I will defile all that get in my way!
It really scares me that they let you play a dragon, what on earth will this final fight be like??? I will try to get stats up tomorrow for him.
.Pregen. |
Do the rest of you have any preparations before we move on?
@GM Skipper: 322's spell here are still up? And her Cloak of Darkness? I have to know this before post her "preparation" actions. :)
PS.: I missed the name, it wasn't dust of twilight, but dust of darkness that she used.
Shohiraj TK |
Stealth: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20
Ready to move forward. I sugest that I sneak a bit in advance.
.Pregen. |
In this case, 322 will use Cloak of Darkness ---- cast shield of faith on @Zurnzal and @Shohiraj (+3 deflection bonus on AC for 7 min.) ---- cast spectral hand (duration: 7 min.), takes 1d4 ⇒ 4 of damage; then Will DC 20: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13 or take 1d2 ⇒ 2 of Wis damage ---- use dust of darkness on herself (duration: 1 min.).
If needed again: stealth: 1d20 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 10 + 4 = 25
Now she is ready.
.Pregen. |
Try to cast spectral hand again: Will DC 20: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22 or take 1d2 ⇒ 2 of Wis damage.
Damage from the spell: 1d4 ⇒ 4
Pregen_AM |
Since I have only one more second level spell for the day
Stealth1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 8 + 2 = 25
Joliryn was hoping for a triumphant victory on the back of a dragon but Halflings have a natural gift for being inconspicious.
Pregen Dragon! |
Yes, I'll gladly take the potion, unless anyone else needs it. With a sinister grin, Gazwyr downs the potion, and follows behind the others.
Stealth: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28 this is without the invisibility bonus. So if someone else needs it more than they can take it before I drink it.
The Leader - Rataji |
I can utilize that potion. I'm out of invisibility options and my stealth is only +1.
Speaking up as the dragon reaches out for the potion, "My scaley colleague, my skills at guile beyond the verbal kind are lacking. The magic within that potion will likely serve us best in my stomach." Rataji plucks the potion out of Zurnzal's hand and quaffs it. Never liked the taste of these things. Best to down them quickly.
Stealth: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (17) + 21 = 38
Zurnzal the Unforgiving |
Zurnzal puts a finger to his lips and pulls out a an arrow, carefully using the feathers to open the mail slot just a sliver. After listening for a moment and looking for shadows on the floor, he risks opening the slot all of the way to peer inside the room.
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20
The Leader - Rataji |
"TO BATTLE!" Rataji roars pointing a finger towards the next room.
Is there even a door there? 23 force damage is pretty destructive! XD
.Pregen. |
322 uses her wand of Cure Moderate Wounds on Zurnzal.
Wand of CMW: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (6, 2) + 3 = 11 last charge
And a Cure Moderate Wounds cast by herself on Zurnzal:
CMW (spell): 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (2, 8) + 7 = 17
GM Skipper |
Healing up is doable.
Opening the battered door reveald a tall library ringed by a walkway around its perimeter, which provides access to a second level of towering bookshelves. A broad Qadiran rug leads to a short pedestal within a tall glass case that itself sits within an inscribed circle—all cordoned off by a velvet rope suspended by brass poles. A strange armillary pulses with energy from atop the pedestal. Several plush chairs and a few low tables bearing curiosities and curios line the lower floor, and two decorative suits of armor stand at attention, each with a crossbow resting against its shoulder. Heatless torches blaze with remarkably even light in sconces throughout the room, and a tall pendulum clock on the eastern wall ticks each passing second.
At the far end of the room stands a man of mixed Keleshite and Vudrani heritage and clearly a wizard. He scowls at you before speaking.
"I don't know who you are, but you made a grave mistake coming here..."
Rataji: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Marnarius: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
322: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Shohiraj: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Joliryn: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Zey: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
The wizard moves around the central display and casts a spell, causing a coruscating ray to spring from his hand and towards Zurnzal.
Ranged touch attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
Strength penalty: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Pregen_AM |
Swift action activate my Eldritch Bloodline thingy majigey for Anti-Mage powers. Then double and draw Kukri threatening Aram Zey. If he decides to 5 ft step away I'll follow him.
Killing mages is Joliryn's trade and while she has yet to deal with one as powerful as Aram Zey ultimately they are ll the same. Weaklings that hide behind magic while she, wields arcane power only to destroy.
Her short legs carrying her as swiftly as she can she confronts the mage and tries to distract him with threatening motions.
Zurnzal the Unforgiving |
I really don't feel like calculating Zurnzal's encumbrance for one fight, is it okay if I just assume he is at a heavy load now?
Zurnzal nods his head in thanks for the healing as he opens the door, and immediately grimaces under the weight of his own equipment. He steps out of the doorway, concentrating for a moment on some archery lessons from his past, then draws a bead on the Pathfinder.
Move Martial Flexibility (Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot)
Standard Ready an attack; Trigger Zey casts a spell
The Leader - Rataji |
Seeing the wizard, Rataji's face contorts into an evil grin. Finally, a foe worthy of my talents! He shall bend to my will. I will break him. "This is no mistake, fool. You will know what it means to have crossed us. PROSTRATE YOURSELF BEFORE ME, BEG FOR MERCY!" He shouts with arcane might, gesturing to the place in front of him.
Suggestion, DC 19 Will save or come lie down in front of me. please roll poorly GM :)
.Pregen. |
322 enters in the chamber and calls upon the frigid depths of outer space to bring a terrible chill to Aram Zeys' soul and heart.
She uses the Interstellar Void ability to deal 7d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 4, 2, 3, 3, 1) = 22 of cold damage on Aram Zey (Fort DC 17, halves).
GM Skipper |
Shohiraj is right to be suspicious about the suits of armor, but even her training dosen't alert her to the pressure plate in front of the door. The southern most suit raises its crossbow and fires at Shohiraj.
Attack v Shohiraj: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Reflex, Shohiraj: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 10 + 2 = 30
Entangled duration: 2d4 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5
With her movements hampered by the rapidly congealing goo, Shohiraj misses her mark.
Darting around the sticky rogue, Joliryn moves in to disrupt the wizard.
@Zurnzal: Heavy load is a good approximation.
Zurnzal joins in Joliryn's efforts and prepares to harras Zey from afar.
Will, Rataji: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
Rataji's commanding words have no effect on Zey.
Will, 322: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
322 cloaks "Zey" in the unforgiving cold of the Void only to realize, that he's an illusion!

You tricked devil no more games so yourself! Gazwyr moves in next to rataji. And readies his Breath weapon for if he sees the Wizard and he's within 20ft.
GM Skipper |
Gazwyr moves into the room, and his keen senses tell him that there's someone invisible on the northern elevated walkway. I'll rule, that by angling it directly towards what you can smell, you can avoid hitting any allies. Assuming you use your breath weapon:
Correct damage: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 3, 1) = 10
Reflex: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
1d4 ⇒ 3
From the sizzling remnants of a once fine painting, you hear the sounds of spellcasting. Zurnzal takes a shot, but the arrow clatters harmlessly against the wall.
Will, Rataji: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25
Will, 322: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30

Will, Zurnzal: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Will, Gazwyr: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Shohiraj, Zurnzal and Gazwyr feel their movements slow down, as if they're moving through treacle. You've been slowed.
Even through the spell fogging his mind, Gazwyr knows that the invisible caster moves east.

The Leader - Rataji |
Enraged, Rataji fires up another spell, but this time from a scroll. A worthy foe indeed, but he will not last for long! He isn't the only one prepared. "Your parlor tricks will only extend your suffering!" Following Gazwyr's directions, Rataji pulls out a scroll and casts Glitterdust.

Hmm looks like my post from this weekend is gone. But my avatar is still moved on the map. I think my plan was to move. As a swift action enhance my blade by +2 and as a standard action make 1 regular attack. Aram Zey should be threatend and take a -6 penalty to concentration checks...also these high level mages in PFS that hide in their chambers instead of teleporting away...
Joliryn listening to her scaled companions advice steps forward and drives her scimitar into the burned painting.
