Barbo starts up the stairs, and sees another Ulfen man standing just around the short wall of the platform, holding a lantern. He sends off a splash of acid, but it flies wide of its target.
Revealed the man upstairs, but you have to be at least as high up the stairs as Barbo to see him.

Geico hurries and drags the man in off the streets.
It really killed him to be breaking the law like this but at the very least he would do his best to shield everyone from the consequences, at least while the life of an ally (and potential customer) hangs in the balance.
Well let's get going guys, we already broke the law we may as well be good about not getting caught now.

Egg drops an arrow into a guard, then Krennel follows up with a flask of fire; between the two, he drops like a sack of flour.
His partner runs up to Krennel and swings his axe, but his heart doesn't seem to be in it after seeing how quickly you disposed of the others.

At the top of the stairs, the well-dressed Ulfen (whom you would guess to be Bengeirr) backs up, carrying a lantern in one hand while casting a spell in the other. A ghostly greatsword appears in front of him and flies toward Barbo.

"Think you're going to last longer than your friend? Time to face the consequ--HEY! Watch where you are shooting!" While the blow lands, twisting away from the bolt takes most of the strength from Krennel's strike.

With Ayla's bolt almost piercing Krennel, Lilianna dashes her original plan to follow suit. Who was she aiming at? Loose morales, clearly, but this is pushing the envelope a little...
Fortunately, inspiration strikes at the right moment. She circles around the standing Ulfen warrior, picking up the weapon of his comrade as she comes to his back. "Now Krennel!"

Geico comes up the stairs and prepares to engage Bengeirr; the ulfen responds by pointing the lantern at the dwarf. A cold, white light bathes Geico as he feels a chill come over his entire body.
Will save, if you please, Geico!
Bengeirr then drops the lantern at his feet and picks up a greatsword that was leaning against the wall.
Meanwhile, the ghostly greatsword follows Barbo down the stairs and swings again, taking another chunk from the wizard before winking out of existence.

"I offer you a chance to repent for your deeds and embrace the holy light of Sarenrae. Lay down your weapon, submit yourself peacefully, and we can settle this without more bloodshed."

Barbo, bleeding heavily from the gash in his chest, moves by the stairwell and mutters some arcane words. Casting Unseen Servant as a Standard
Suddenly, the lantern is lifted off the ground, from Bengeirr's feet to a spot about two and a half feet away, and three feet in the air. Servant moves to Bengeir as a move action and picks up the lantern as a standard. If it weighs more than 20 pounds, he drags it.

Krennel, I hadn't fully described the loft yet ... it is filled with valuables, many of which would be flammable. If you throw the bomb, you are likely to damage or destroy at least some of it. Let me know if you still want to do that or if you prefer to change your action.
The loft is set up as a small office, but there is also a cot set up here. There are carpets, urns, sculptures, and other works of art stacked around the area.
Geico moves up to Bengeirr, but his swing goes wide of the Ulfen. As Lilianna and Krennel run up to assist, Barbo mutters a spell, and something moves past them both. The lantern rises up into the air next to Bengeirr, its beam moving around erratically.
Egg and Ayla have actions!

"Whoah!" Ayla exclaims as she scampers over unconscious guards and towards the stairs. "You're going to need more than a new doorman! You're going to need a whole new clan! Look at all these guys! I guess good help's hard to come by these days, eh? Bloodline's getting weaker, sons are getting dumber, daughter's getting uglier." Ayla nods as she rambles on, smiling widely.
Ayla holds her crossbow in one hand, moving the other in a frantic, flicking motion. Suddenly a few balls of glowing light appear in her hand, which fly up the stairs ahead of her and illuminate the landing.
Move action to move into the warehouse. Standard to cast dancing lights and move them up onto the landing. I placed a sun on the map where they are currently located.

The area lights up as pink, green, blue, and yellow sparkles weave and dance their way up the stairs!
The lighting is now NORMAL. Egg is up!
Don't forget the door is currently open, so now there is light spilling out for anyone walking by to notice ... if anyone happened to be walking by.

The upper deck of the ship is still several feet below the level of the loft, so no LOS on Bengeirr. Treating it as a readied action to fire, which goes off on Bengeirr's turn.
Egg jumps onto the ship to try to get a bead on Bengeirr, but can't quite see him until the Ulfen moves over to attack Krennel. Sadly, the partial wall of the loft protects him from the arrow.
Bengeirr swings his greatsword as he approaches, but today just isn't his day.

Taking an item from someone else is a move action, actually. However, in this particular case I'm not to concerned about the action economy - the Unseen Servant can just come all the way to you and you'll get it in the next round anyway.

Thank you. I edited my position to reflect the standard action to grab the lantern. How about a knowledge roll to understand how to use it? I'd like to weaponize it on my next turn.

The lantern is a hooded sort that allows you to focus the light into a narrow beam. It is very cold, despite being lit, and puts out a cold, strong, white light.
As far as light output, think modern flashlight. You could aim it at a thing or a person.
Lilianna and Krennel still have actions this round.

Barbo jogs up the stairs on his aging knees. To thin air he comments. "My wand! " Subtly, his backpack seems to shift as the contents are rifled through. With a twist of the wrist he points the lantern at Bengeirr.

In a flurry of action, Egg and Ayla fire at the Ulfen; the archer is right on target, while the Rogue is still having trouble avoiding her friends. Krennel brings his axe down hard, and Barbo shines the cold light of the lantern, causing the man to begin shivering.

Lilianna confirms no one seem to have noticed the rave, and closes the doors.
Bengeirr has finally taken damage! Geico still has an action.

Geico, you didn't move your token, so I stepped you up into melee.

He continued to point the lantern at Bengeirr as a wand mysteriously floats out of his backpack and hovers beside the blue skinned wizard.

With this check, I am trying to discern if the lantern is affecting him any more. And, if possible, more details about what it is doing to him. Also, my servant is just going to wait next to me with my wand.
