Feel free to dot in here!
I also want to just take a moment to remind everyone to do what you can to try to post regularly and quickly...with a seven-person party, we don't want to get bogged down, especially when it comes time for combat! If you are worried you won't be able to post on a particular day, please let me know here or via PM so I can bot you.
Looking forward to the game!

Bennybeck, can I get the same info from you that the others have posted here? Thanks!

Got a wand of Cure Light, but Lhunk won't be making many decisions on his own. (Played this many times, also, think of Lhunk as Mongo)
I should've mentioned this before, but like many PbP GMs, I roll things like Initiative, opposed Perception, and (if people are ok with it) saving throws for you guys to speed things along. If anyone prefer I not do this, please just let me know!
Linked the combat map at the top of the page as well.

That is perfectly fine! I prefer that.
Male Demon Lord of Death, Locusts, and Plagues -NULL-
Fine with me as it helps move things along.
So, a question, as I know there are a lot of people more familiar with PFS than I in this game:
It's my understanding that PFS is much more strict about following the rules precisely as written than a lot of other groups (for the good reason of ensuring similar experiences over a wide variety of tables). Based on my own experience, I thought that included adjudicating initiative strictly in the order rolled.
(This is in contrast to, say, the way I run my non-PFS games on these boards, where I generally adjudicate all PCs' actions that come before the enemies' in the order that they're posted--makes it a lot easier for people to post when they have time, rather than having to wait for the people ahead of them in initiative to post.)
Am I correct in this? I just feel a little silly/bogged down by having all these great posts (like we did in that fight) and then ignoring half of them. :P
Thanks! Just want to make sure I'm both 1) running the table "legally" and 2) providing a good time.

From all the games that I have played and GMed in the play by post format, it appears that batch groups are prioritized rather singular initiative orders, mostly to keep the game flowing smoothly. An example would be monsters got a 21 some players got between 20 and 15, and the last set of monsters got lower so the initiative would be.
Round 2
Those in bold may act
Monster C
Players
Monster A, Monster B
The main reason as to why it would be in batches is because people can delay, and it would be easier to accommodate initiative changes cause by the delay action.

Ok, great. That's how I run my normal games on these boards, but I had the impression for some reason that PFS required me to be more strict about "This person got a 19, this person got a 16," etc.
As long as no one objects I will run future combat encounters using that system!
Male Demon Lord of Death, Locusts, and Plagues -NULL-
Yeah, I'm fine with that set up, as it's what I have run into the most. The other rules are more stringent though, which I don't mind as it helps me make sure something is played how it should be. *example* Dancing Lights and Ghost Sound can make a singing critter of light.
Female Halfling N Sacred Huntsmaster Inquisitor/1| AC 18 | T 14 | FF 15 | HP: 11/11 | CMD 12 | Fort +4 | Ref +3 | Will +5; +2 vs. Fear; +1 Will when within 30feet of an animal (e.g. animal companion) | Init +3 | Perception +9
I have seen PFS PbP GMs occasionally adjudicate tricky actions in strict turn order but for them most part it is just done by posting order within blocks as others have said. It rarely makes a significant difference anyway, since the same thing could be accomplished through delayed or readied actions in a more strict setting.

Hey guys, dealing with a family tragedy situation. Will try to get back on track Monday.
Sorry!
Hi all, I myself was sideswiped by a combination of life and Paizo's website downtime yesterday that prevented me from posting...I see we're still missing some surprise round actions, but I'm just going to bot them for now to move us forward. Probably my fault for the unclear communication. Apologies.
Gunter, I hope all is as well as can be for you and your family!

Sorry for the delay in posting. I expected to catch up over the weekend but spent literally all weekend helping my parents move. I hope to be caught up by the end of tomorrow.

Oh, with these rolls, I would love to attempt Lhunk in a face to face game.....
I am traveling to DC for the March tomorrow and likely will not be able to post until late Sunday or Monday. Fortunately, we have some turns to take before then!
Hope everyone has a good weekend!
Male Demon Lord of Death, Locusts, and Plagues -NULL-
No worries. From what I saw, there were quite a few people! Almost went to Disneyland an Saturday, but saw that the March was three blocks wide and was glad I had to help my folks move things from their garage to storage. I hope you enjoyed the march!
Benny, I realized I never got this info from you! Can you share, please?

Thanks for a wonderful game!
DM, how soon do you think that you can get the chronicle out. There is another PFS that he now qualifies for that the DM said he could join if I can level Benny up by tonight.
I'll try to get your chronicle out ASAP, Benny.
Just to be clear: Your PFS # is 43330-1, player name is Jason Rodarte 520?
Thanks, just want to make sure the number didn't get split up by a copy-pasted name. :P

Thanks for playing, all! I enjoyed the game--if you have any feedback for me, please feel free to share! One thing I know I want to improve in future PFS games is the pacing (we dragged once or twice in there...).

Probably in not TOO long, but not immediately. I want to do the next one right: pick it out, set up maps and so on AHEAD of time, and then I'll recruit. :)

Thaia is sub-tier 2. *Sniff*
...Am I crazy, or isn't sub-tier something that's determined by APL (which in this case was 1)? I thought for a normal scenario everyone got the same gold unless there was a wide disparity, in which case the outlier got the out-of-subtier gold.
Happy to correct it if I'm wrong!
