With your Perception roll, you determined that entering that area would trigger the trap. You didn't trigger it, but the robot attacked you when it saw you spotted his trap.

The robot gets burned by the explosion, though its metal plates protect him well.

Seeing the explosion caused by George makes kalendir snap back to attention from examining the plant. he is amazed by the complexity of the flying creature and how many parts are moving at once on it.

The beam cuts a clean line through the room and kalendir brings his Longbow into his sights as he fires two arrows into the metal.

Not one of these again.

She then blasts a note on her flute, the note becoming a physical force hanging in the air. She sweeps it over the heads of the rest of the party, offering for them to grab on so she can swoop them over to the flying machine.

With the combined attacks of the pathfinders, the robot twitches as electricity arcs run along its metal body, and falls on the ground with a loud CLANG.

End combat... or not.

The Professor, venturing east, can see what is in the eastern wing. It was supposed to be last round since he moved there at that time, but I didn't want to have two fights at the same time. However, since it's simultaneous, we remain in initiative.

A gigantic reptilian beast is on display in the center of this expansive gallery, ferociously leering over the collection of taxidermied animals and monsters. Many exhibits have been smashed or torn apart, scattering limbs and sawdust across the basalt floor. A small door at the eastern end of the room is labeled “Private Events Only.”

Slowly, three gigantic masses of flesh moves from the shadows at the end of the room, getting closer to the professor.

Squinting at the rising fleshy masses, the professor voices his suspicions.

"Martha? Is that you? Ruth??!?!"

Wiping sweat from his brow, the professor revisits some memories of his glory days of college some three centuries prior.

"Blessed Brigh, why do you deny me my fireball when I need it most?!"

With an outstretched hand, he lobs the next best thing at the one he presumes to most resemble "Agnes" (the one straight ahead).

The creatures slowly move forward, leaving a disgusting ichor in their wake, not unlike a snail's. The one that was burnt by the Professor's bolt extends an amorphous limb at George, and attempts to hit the tiefling. It misses, its revolting substance slipping on George's armor.

The two last blobs sustain heavy damage, from George's bomb, then by Kalendir's arrows. The elf finishes off the second mass of flesh as it is slowly growing under the impact from the arrows.

The last flesh mound moves to its doom, oblivious of what is about to happen to it. Mindlessly, it tries to hit George but its fleshy limbs can't pierce the alchemist's defenses.

Sad Rock opens the door leading to the Museum Library. This small, wellstocked research library exists for donors and visiting scholars to use. Nearly a third of the shelf space is dedicated to cataloging the museum’s collection.

A quick search of the remaining rooms on this floor revealts no other unfortunate encounter with slimy flesh mounds or flying robots from outer space, only a lecture hall, staff offices, freight elevator and lavatories.
