And the bard runs by to do math again. Something seems off in the damage calculation... Raging Str mod of +7, so 1d10 +14 (Str + Overhand Chop) +9 (Power Attack) +1 (Enhancement) +1 (Weapon Training) +2 (Weapon Specialization) = 1d10+27. I think you missed adding the rage bonus for overhand chop. That should add 1 more damage, plus 1 for the crit. Also... Sonic Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Not sure if we will be up for another combat with a Fossil Golem, but I have tactics I wanted to throw out before we even get out of this combat. I thought about doing this in character, but I wouldn't want to confuse this combat round.

If we know what we are fighting, then we should be able to prepare a counter for it. If Avelina can cast invisibility sphere on the party, it should limit who the Fossil Golem can attack. Presuming it isn't the most tactically minded golem, we might be able to lure it into charging Svetlana, who can brace against the charge for a strong first hit. Fandral, Solomon, and myself should try to set ourselves so that we can full attack it following it's charge. Avelina could either attempt a trip, heal, or some other magical option. I have a wand of acid arrow with a few charges Vinnie could use, attack from a distance from behind Svetlana in the opening, or use any vanishes he has left from the safety of the invisibility sphere to get people out of bad positions. If we can take it in that round, it would mean it would only get one attack while we all get a full attack along with Svetlana's readied attack.

Another option would be a similar set up, but with Vinnie and/or Avelina as bait, and the invisible band of melee characters blocking a charge path. If it charges in this situation, it's charge attack might fail give characters all a chance to get in AoOs and then a full attack before it can recover. This assumes it isn't just able to run right over the much smaller characters. If we can get away with this and deal lethal in that first round, we might make it through the combat giving it no chance to deal damage.

Since we've got Ragniori for spot heals as well, I think we can take one more fossil golem fight after this. If your strategy goes as planned we probably have two more left in us. I'm down to give it a shot. I think we're just waiting on Avelina this round to see who gets crit by the dinorock, but after that we can take another shot at the puzzle sphere and then try out attack pattern invisible ambush. If we're lucky she can crit it with a snowball and kill it before it gets a turn.

Safely out of the golem's range, she conjures an orb of ice, then chucks it full force at the golem. Snowball does not allow SR, so it bypasses spell immunity

As he finishes channeling Ragniori's potent spell Saul looks forward in horror. He stands, mouth hanging open, as watches as the twin dino heads bear down on Svetlana and raises his first aid gloves expecting the worst. As the jaws let go and she remains on her feet, he relaxes just a bit. He points at the fossil golem and yells a command to the newly conjured elemental. "Destroy!"

Round 3: Restart healing rage, make knowledge check.

Assuming Svetlana stands in the wards and rages for the 3 rounds, that will be a total of 49 healing. If she does so she cannot make an attempt on the puzzle since she'll be raging that round. If she wishes to make a check, she'll heal for 15 less. Everyone else will be filled up as well. The path lasts a total of 11 rounds, and can be extended by 4 squares every round as a swift action. It only heals allies, so my goal is to fill our battleground. I'll recommend giving Ragniori's favor to Vinnie again.

A great crack interrupts the Master of Spell's musings, as an immense three-eyed giant with skin like hewn stone steps through a tear in space, with an army pouring out past her. The giant bellows so that all can hear. “I acknowledge your strength, little ones, for you have angered my benefactor enough to send me. I and my warriors, the Daemon Prayers, honor it with unyielding death. Seize the Vault! Slay them all!”

Sorrina Westyr urgently pipes in. “We just need a few more minutes to secure our prize and escape. Hold them off as long as you can!”

Drandle Dreng’s shaggy head appears once again in the divination window. “You heard her, Pathfinders!” He says, fist raised. “Go get ‘em!”

It didn't get included in the buff page, but after the fight with the pair of incorporeal undead we found a scroll of life bubble and Avelina cast it on the party and should have had a 3 hour duration starting then. Which would have a positive effect on this combat if it is still up.

Sielan pushes out of the cloud and casts black tentacles into the corner of the room.

Saul switches his rage again to full offense... and then bolsters it further against these vile fiends. Since I'm currently maintaining the performance already, Using Harmonic Spell to reduce changing performance to a swift action. Casting Flexible Fury to give everyone Lesser Celestial Blood, which makes everyone's melee weapons good aligned and, and adds 1d6 damage to melee attacks against evil outsiders. Move action to get out of the cloud.

With life bubble on you won't take any Con damage, but it will still obscure vision.

The black tentacles whip all around the asura, but there merely laugh like it was tickling them. Without getting lucky it seems like they can pretty much ignore them. CMD is high enough that you think you'd need a natural 20 for that to work.

Avelina rushes out of the fog in the direction of Sielan, trusting that she would find the most protection by him.

Not wanting to give up her invisibility quite yet, Avelina held up her ring and invoked some holy magic within. She then touched Sielan's weapon and its glow brightened even more.

Avelina activated her Knight-Inheritor's Ring to cast Bless Weapon on Sielan's glaive. While his weapon was already good-aligned, it will now automatically confirm all critical threats against evil-aligned creatures :3c

Avelina sees the aghasura disappear and hears the clash of battle with Fandral. A decidely wicked smirk creeps onto her face as she thinks of the perfect idea.

"Hold on, Sir Knight. I shall bring you to the battle."

With a few words and a touch of Sielan, Avelina transports herself and Sielan over to the far side of the battle, both of them still covered by the veil of Avelina's invisibility sphere.
