Seeing Dylara struggling with the heavy doors, Tuich tries to lend a hand.
Strength (Aid Another): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 Yeah, that's about right. :op
"Oof! Vyk, we need your muscles here!"
Vincent Blackwood |
Vincent puts the Haste potion in an easily accessible belt pouch as he agrees with Vyk, "The worst fight is one that's over before I can join in."
---------------------
Strength(assist): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Vincent gives a half-hearted push at the dust and sand covered door. No sense putting his shoulder into it if he can help it. That sort of grime is hard to get out, according to the people who do his laundry.
Khismia al-Khair |
Khismia joins other, trying to pull door up.
Strength (aid): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
"Go, Dylara! Let's show it some girl power", she could get a good grip and started pushing.
GM Kyshkumen |
Dylara is able to push open the gates, but the help is appreciated. Above the gate on the ceiling of the archway there is an inscription in Ancient Osiriani.
Ahead the wind gusts about this small courtyard, filling the air with fine grit. Corpses litter the area, little more than bone and desiccated, leathery skin. A dry well occupies the center, surrounded by the remnants of an outdoor market, though even the best tent is tattered and leans precariously. To the east, a set of low steps rise to a set of stone doors surrounded by symmetrical wall carvings of pharaohs. Stairs to the south ascend to the outer wall.
Khismia al-Khair |
As door was opened, Khismia filled darkness. Those body she saw, weren't usual type. Those were darkness outline without any pulsation inside.
"No idea, but I hope its long gone"
I still have my deathwatch and I'm watching around to find any sight of danger.
I don't have Linguistics to understand what's written to roll
Miko Teppen |
Linguistics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25 (Miko knows ancient Osiriani)
The inscriptions welcome travellers. This is apparently some shelter against sandstorm, but it looks like it wasn't much help to these people.
These tents are still standing - I wonder what happened here. If they was an attack... the tents would be overthrown, wouldn't they?
Miko checks the tents, to see if there was a fight here, or whether some other disaster struck.
Vyk Tyr |
"We should check the tents to make sure they're not hiding any surprises for us."
Vyk pulled out his scimitar and began poking around the tents.

Vincent draws his blade as well, walking cautiously up to the well to peer down. If nothing immediately attacks from within, he casts Light on a pebble and drops it down, curious if there's still water.
You said it's dry, but I don't think he could know that just from a cursory inspection.
"I'd guess it wasn't the sandstorms that killed these people," Vincent agrees.
Dylara Yssal |
Dylara moves in after the others, both her shield and spear ready. She goes around poking the tents with her spear, opening them if there's no reaction from inside.
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
Melon the Roc |
Melon follows Dylara closely. She looks around, curious to see more of her surroundings in this new location. "Pwo?"
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
The dust in front of Melon catches her interest. She gets distracted, and decides to just stare at the dust while Dylara inspects a tent.

"Stop!", Khismia pointed her finger, "those two are filled with darkness".
- What? Where?! - etherial companion manifested from nowhere, - Let me see!
- Ayu, stop, we don't need that now! Khismia remembered, what happened at Qadiran funeral, It's not the way you can get back!
- Do not try to stop me! - mentally screamed haunt, looking around for those undeads, oracle warned her friends about.
Dylara Yssal |
"Which two?" Dylara asks, freezing in place. Her eyes dart toward Melon, but luckily the roc's too distracted to poke the tents.
Kyshkumen |
Pulling everyone back as Khismia would have warned you before you stepped foot in the court yard.
As if in answer to Dylara's question to of the bodies rise up along with a third creature that looks cobbled together from various other bodies. The wind kicks up through the open gates obscuring the pathfinders view as the three creatures start moving.

"What, again?" Tuich says in a voice tinged with annoyance. Her silks suddenly begin fluttering in a direction not agreeing with the gusts of wind.
Away from Khismia.

Oh my... those are plague zombies. Keep your distance from them, cause they'll explode and spread infectious bits all around.
The other thing looks even worse, that's a carrion golem.

Vincent Blackwood |

Vincent hits one with a ray of disruptive energy. Khismia sends out a wave of dark energy that seems to get the attention of one of the zombies blue. As one zombie shuffles forward the other seems to follow it.
Miko explains that the creature in the back is a construct and is resistant to piercing weapons. It also has a foul stench, carries some sort of disease and is immune to magic. She then starts to sing.

As responce to her words, one of zombies moved closer and attacked his comrad at best of its undead abilities.

As I understand the rules she can't Withdraw since that's a FRA and she's limited to a single MA while Nauseated. I doubt this'll make much difference since she'll be within range for being attacked next round anyway, but she'll just 5' Step (5' Stagger, heh) to avoid the immediate AoO.
