The second time around, Tsishad manages to blind the medusa permanently. Periel moves up to her and takes a mighty swing. Aelfward wraps his bedroll tight around her head, completely covering her face and snake-hair. Blub Blub's second bolt blows a whole straight through the medusa's neck, dropping her limp body to the stone floor.

Tsishad moves forward and fires a Magic Missile at the most injured enemy he can see.

@Kyra: Even if the spiritual weapon was a creature and thus an "ally", it wasn't there when bless was originally cast.
Tsishad moves into the room and blasts the red-scaled snake with a bolt of invisible force. Periel finishes the creature off, then turns to the second one. Kyra conjures a translucent scimitar and slashes the remaining snake with it, and Aelfward continues the barrage, before Blub Blub hits it with a crossbow bolt. And not wanting to be outdone, Illuthion just barely takes the creature down with his second swing.
The only things of interest in the room are a heavy flail and an enormous metal shield.

So far Illuthion has the veil. He'll wield Slitherbane as well if noone else speaks up. As far as the shield goes, anyone interested?

"We should bring the shield with us. I'll bet the dudes back home will want to look at it, if nothing else. It's too big to hold, but I could probably hook it to my harness (Muleback Cords) and wear it on my back."
If it's been over an hour since the fountain room, I'll zap another charge of my Longstrider wand.

@Blub: Less than an hour, and normal rules for recovering ammunition.
@Kyra: The shield is Large. You wouldn't be able to wield it.
Periel lifts the flail and swings it around a bit. It feels well balanced, but does not speak to him or otherwise react in any perceptible manner.
You walk around the complex and eventually find a dimly lit storage room. Most of the objects are destroyed or decayed, but a large stone disc and two mithral wands seem to be intact.

"Hmm. Another weird stone disk. Hold up" grumbles Illuthion, who nonetheless inspects the sticks and the disk. "Alright, so the sticks are wands, one with Arcane Sight, and the other with Bull's Strength. But the dish... Its as weird as the first one. Who has it? I wanna check to see if these two interact. Like a bag of holding with a portable hole."

Kyra takes the wand of bull's strength graciously. "The Dawnflower has truly blessed us. It would be impious to refuse her blessing." With that she taps Periel. "We might as well use all the charges in here."
This is before combat begins right when she gets the wand. 15 charges left. What caster level/how long does it last?

"I can't ... Grab the dark disk... What the..." Illuthion mutters, bewildered. "S&@&. Aelfy, grab that dark disk bro, before we get another chooch who wants to get some here" barks the occultist as he calls upon his magic talent to cast Lead Blades upon himself.
