Thrawn007 RPG Superstar Season 9 Top 16 |
Inspector Pendergast |
PFS ID#: 66548-24
Character: Aloysius Pendergast (though he prefers "Inspector" or "Inspector Pendergast")
Player: Eric Bennett (aka "Nefreet")
Faction: Dark Archive
Class/Level: Investigator (Empiricist) 5
XP Track: Normal
Day Job: Craft Alchemy: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24 (not including the +2 for being an Investigator; some GMs disallow it)
Special Rules:
- As an Empiricist he uses Intelligence for Disable Device, Perception, Sense Motive, UMD and Diplomacy checks made to gather information.
- He has the Orator feat, so he uses Linguistics in place of most Diplomacy, Intimidate, and Bluff checks.
- He adds 1d6+1 to all Diplomacy, Heal, Knowledge, Linguistics, Perception, Profession, Sense Motive and Spellcraft checks.
- He can find and disable magical traps, and he has Trap Spotter.
Updating his profile now; haven't really done so since Level 2. He is *not* a combatant, Lol, so hopefully we have some good frontliners or damage dealers.
Narayan Singh |
Well if you need a frontliner, I've got ssomeone fun who'll be ready in a month!
Player: Cwethan
Character: Narayan Singh
PFS #: 182453-2
Faction: Silver Crusade
Day Job: (To be posted once his current adventure finishes and he levels to 5 - still gotta decide how to spend those 3 piddling skill points lol)
Special Rules:
Pretty standard Unchained Monk except that he uses Charisma instead of Wisdom for just about everything.
Thrawn007 RPG Superstar Season 9 Top 16 |
Looks like Monk and Investigator thus far? I'm leaning storyteller medium or magus kapenia dancer to fit the themes and try to compliment some. (I have a number of other options, but thinking about it, I'm going to throw out blood kineticist and blind priest as options, due to the likelihood of bloodless and incorporeal enemies in what I assume is an undead heavy adventure.)
Esmerelda Balcescu |
This is Thrawn
Player: Robert Thomson
Character: Esmerelda Balcescu
PFS #: 106968-72
Faction: Liberty's Edge
Day Job: Perform(sing): 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
Esmerelda is a Medium(Storyteller), so she has bard song (courage +2). I can switch spirits, but I'm thinking I'll generally go mage in this group so far.
Inspector Pendergast |
Lol he's a half pound away from being encumbered. He's technically encumbered for the brief moment when he pulls out an alchemical weapon from his Handy Haversack. There's no way I could drop his Strength any lower than 10.
He's not really a combatant. He's got HP 33 and AC 17. His rapier is more of a last resort, or to provide flanks, or to hand off to other frontliners who don't have Adamantine. When an enemy is at 1hp, you can count on him ^^.
Though he can throw a mean Hybridized 4d6 alchemical weapon =).
'Ronin' |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |
I am happy to bring Ronin along if there is a slot.
Player: Sethran
Character Name: Ronin
Number: 34762-1
Faction: Grand Lodge
Ronin is a fairly Standard Sword and Shield Warrior, Samurai Four Ranger 2, focused against evil-outsiders.
Eric Collins - France |
I would be very happy to play if you have a new table running...
I would play:
101218-5
Parrym
Dark Archive
Cleric (Herald Caller) of Ketephys, level 4
Normal XP track
As a Herald Caller, Parrym can summon powerful envoys of her god Ketephys (Augmented Summoning) and rides her eagle companion, Meneldor (medium sized Roc)
Good gaming all!
Tiberion Kir'Jhan |
Hi, I am relatively new to play by post-I joined some DMs homebrew-one guy never showed up and a couple of the players lives got in the way where they didn't post for two weeks and the DM stopped posting anything (I believe out of frustration) I don't want to take anyone else's spot, but if one opens up on a new table, I would be interested in playing. I don't think any of my current characters would qualify as they are for either homebrew campaigns or gestalt applications. I haven't ever played in organized play, but I would make a character to fill out a party to get my foot in the door for organized play-especially if it means I could use them at a Paizo convention, on the chance I attend one in the future-not sure if it works that way...
I have been playing DnD and Pathfinder with a home group for 20+ years, and I am not as incredibly bland as this post makes me seem...just relatively new to all of this.
GM Fez |
New guys are always welcome. So right now we have Eric and Tiberion on a new table, I'll be posting more regularly in the recruitment tab to keep it floating near the top of the boards to get a second table going.
Tiberion - Have you given the PFS Guide a read-through? What you need to know about this module is that it is for 4th-6th level PCs and will need a character played through those levels if you want to use your own character. If that's not possible then you can use one of the level 4 pregens to get in the game, though you'll be on the low end of power. I encourage you to ask any questions you may have and I'll do my best to answer them. Welcome to PFS!

Nice! Seems like a 2nd table will happen... great!
I obviously do not mind what table I join, as per the DM's wishes.
Reminder for table balance if needed:
101218-5
Parrym
Dark Archive
Cleric (Herald Caller) of Ketephys, level 4
Normal XP track
As a Herald Caller, Parrym can summon powerful envoys of her god Ketephys (Augmented Summoning) and rides her eagle companion, Meneldor (medium sized Roc)
I mainly heal/help/buff in combat and use Summons for the offense
Some Diplomacy (and 18 CHA)
Narayan Singh |
A quick update for party balance purposes, Narayan will in fact likely be level 6 by our start time.
Imhakaru |
I'd love to play if we end up with another table!
# 14232-6
Imhakaru
A jovial and lively man, he seeks to being life and redemption to those who can take it, but has a particular hatred of undead.
level 2 dawnflower dervish / level 2 undead scourge.
Inspector Pendergast |
So we have:
6-Ronin (striker-melee)
6-Monk (striker-melee)
5-Investigator (skills)
5-Medium (support)
5-Skald or 5-Gunslinger
4-Cleric (summoner)
4-Cleric (pregen-healer)
4-Barbarian (pregen-melee)
4-Paladin (striker-melee)
?-wakedown
Seems like good potential for two balanced parties. Curious that there's no arcane casters, yet (except for possibly the Skald).
Voodoo Amiri |
I will play a pre-gen sorcerer instead of the barbarian if it's necessary-depending on if it's needed or preferred by the party/table...I can go either way, as I am bi-roleplayual
Parrym |
reminder to help party composition:
Ketephys - 4th level cleric (Herald Caller)
Support character (rather useless in combat) - can heal, summon...
'Ronin' |
Still Ronin here. Samurai tankish/striker
DM Snider |
i would like to hop in on the second table I have a few in that range depending on party play.
