I've opened up the discussion thread since we have four. As I said I'll hold out for jacetms87 and Skuare until tomorrow at midnight (CST). If not by then I'll open it up for everyone and choose two more.

I recommend you four figure out what you want to play so I have an idea of what to look for in case the other two don't post by then.

You can find my character sheet on this name. Made a Bladebound Kensai. I'm still working on tidying the character sheet up, but all I'm doing is transcribing from Hero Lab, so I'm all done for the most part.

Still working on the sheet, will have it ready tonight. Any further feedback on the Sacred Shield paladin? Although maybe I'll scrap it and go with an offensive one after all.

As for the Sacred Shield, I say if you want to go for it, then do so. I have no qualms. My character is a bit offensive (if not a bit squishy) so we'll have one of us doing some damage as well.

And here is the crunch for my sacred shield. Surprisingly, it doesn't even need to use a shield until around level 4 :)

Just to throw this out there, I'll run with whatever group you six come up with. As suggestions, you should make sure to cover the bases, but I'm open to group composition, and you should play what you will enjoy.

As this is a Pathfinder Society game, I will need your Society numbers for the completion sheets. When the scenario's over, I'll scan the completions sheets and email them to you all (so at some point I'll also need your email addresses).

If you have any questions, I'll do my best to ask them, though I am new to PFS myself (I've done abit of RPGA though, and it looks pretty similar).

As a note for everyone, I'm also creating a rogue so that we can balance the party out if we need to. From the looks of it, we already have two front-line fighters (Jace's Fighter and Fly's Paladin), so in case we need a rogue [a niche I excel at filling according to my homegroup], I'm throwing one together. I'll have it up for review by tomorrow.

My fighter is not really s front line giving an archer a try.

Posting as Gerald (alias of Ironic Hero). As I said before, I am willing to make a different build if needed for party balance.

So if Jace doesn't go with a fighter I would like to go with one.

I am a fighter, just not front line, build is listed in profile human fighter to give you an idea, my feats at lvl 1 were rapid, percise, and point blank shot. I do have a back up melee weapon if needed.

Lots of martial in there without much healing that I see. I'm fine with running you guys like that, but it's a Society adventure, not a home game, so not much I can do to adjust it. I'll do what I can though for ya (tbh, I love the group setup!).

I'll go over completed characters tomorrow morning and see if I see anything. I'd like to get started by Friday if possible, but if any of you need more time let me know (or earlier if everyone gets done).

Something else to mention, the First Steps series is designed to introduce you to the 10 factions. So if you want a faction trait, leave that open for now and you get the benefit at the end of the 3 part series when faction is chosen.

Sorry about that. I usually check my email on my phone, but for some reason if I have it connect to wifi it doesn't update properly. Looked over the sheet, didn't see your traits on it but see them now now your direct link. Looks good. Doesn't look like your using a fighter variant, correct?

I am not, I was mearly indicating the archer so my other group emmbers would know my roll for chracter creation. I would actually like some input what does every one think or the archer arcetype for the fighter?

I have weapons and armor chosen, but need to finalize remaining equipment, all other aspects are completed.

I could switch to the chirurgeon archetype to help a bit with the healing. My healing elixirs could then be used by others.

not much help, but it's better than where we stand now.

Hope it's okay now. I'm not sure what you mean by attribute points.

Pathfinder Soiciety has character construction based on assigning points to your ability scores. It uses 20 points. The table can be found Here.

Based on your stats, taking into account racial modifiers, you spent points as:

Str 16 (10)
Dex 14 (5)
Con 12+2 (2)
Int 12 (2)
Wis 8+2 (-2)
Cha 10-2 (0)
Total: 17

Now one thing I didn't originally consider is that you hadn't applied racial attributes, which would instead give you the following:

Str 16 (10 points)
Dex 14 (5 points)
Con 14 (5 points) +2 racial = 16
Int 12 (2 points)
Wis 10 (0 points) +2 racial = 12
Cha 8 (-2 points) -2 racial = -6
Total: 20 points

Up to you how to divide them up, just let me know.

Alright, I updated everything. Going through I noticed that was the one area I forgot to change from the template I was using. Thanks for noticing it and pointing it out.

I did go with the chirurgeon archetype. A little more healing will do us good.

Everything looks good and the Gameplay thread has begun.

Some accounting done and the longbow has been changed to a light crossbow as a result. Ready to rumble! :)

Having taken a look at several different methods for combat on PBPs, this is the one I plan to use. I'll roll everyone's initiatives when combat starts, order up the posts. Then I'll group them based on these rolls and wait for those people to post, resolve the actions, then move to the next group. Seems that's the easiest way and still keep things moving. If anyone has any questions on this, let me know. Also always open to suggestions.

I think you guys are in the living room equivalent right now. If I'm wrong, Xzaral will let you know. That's what I was assuming at least.
