GM DevilDoc, I think you need to roll a D100 on every attack to check a miss chance because of the concealment (blessing). It works on everyone of us for next 8 rounds... except me, alas.

"Umm... this shadow is... oh I feel so weak. It's incorporeal, so you gotta use magic weapons."

It's the shadow that's the real problem for me. The problem I'm having is that my strength has tanked, and I'm poisoned that may confuse me. On my next turn, I'm probably going to run so I don't become a danger to the party. Unless this shadow can be taken out, I'm not sure what else to do in this battle as one more attack from the shadow is permadeath. If you feel you can put a good chunk of the shadow away, I may be able to magic missile it away, but it would take a lot of damage to convince me of that. :p

Good call, notated now on list below, but both strikes hit.

Kaleb calls upon his gods to strike fear into the hearts of his enemies, and it is successful to varying degrees. All except for the shadow feels fear enter their hearts and hands..

Zalkuthar fights off the poison, but still feels the unholy creatures effect as his strength fails him.

Phantomblade decides that there has not been enough steel in this conversation so far, and decapitates on of the surprise visitors!

Valjoen brings his greatsword down on the caster and draws a mighty cry of pain and anger from the man. "I will meet you there!" he spits back..

He then steps back and casts a short spell.. and ends with a blindingly fiery ray of electricity arcing out from his hands at Valjoen.

DC 20 Reflex for half. This is an area of effect spell, so I dont think your concealment helps.

The remaining scoundrel moves next to Tseka.. in fact, they almost seem to share the same space..
Swarming: ratfolk trait. Occupy same square, gain flanking bonuses.

It lashes out at Valjoen as he nears his mistress, but he can't seem to see clearly through the shadows concealing him.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (18) + 6 + 2 - 2 = 24
Damage: 1d3 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + (2) = 5
Conceal: 1d100 ⇒ 4

The other ratfolk lashes out as well, to even worse results.

Phantomblade. It doesn't say, so I am going off the idea that it is, at most, a few feet high and in no way a hinderance.
Valjoen manages to evade the majority of the damage leveled his direction.

Zalkuthar withdraws from the action, but promises his companions that he is not abandoning them.

The female in the shadows doesn't even come close enough to Kaleb to ruffle his cloak, but her companion trails ghostly fingers through his armour, sapping his strength.

Kaleb turns and deals a vicious blow to the Shadow, but it doesn't seem to do quite as much damage as it should.
You are correct.. incorporeal, so you only do half damage, but both attacks hit, and the crit confirmed.

Kaleb retreats, while Phantomblade fells the last of the visible rats with another brutal swipe of his lethal blade.
Valjoen then turns his eye towards the shadow, launching a ball of ice and snow at it. The shadow is limned in frost and almost looses cohesiveness, but manages to hold itself together.

Just curious if the Shadow should have more damage. 19 was on it before, and Valjoen just did 12, so that should be 31 right? I'm only asking because Zalkuthar is about to do something stupid. XD

The 19 was reduceeed to 12 to reflect the strength damage from Kaleb. He rolled his attack at his full strength modifiers instead taking into account his strength damage. The spell from Valjoen did 24 dmg, but was reduced by half, leaving another 12 and a total of 24 dmg.

Zalkuthar sends several missiles of force straight into the shadow, and it seems to have a full effect on the creature! It is struggling to hold cohesiveness in the face of your concentrated onslaught!

The shadow dancer strikes outat Valjoen from the darkness, disappearing back into the shadows once more.
Attack: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 10 - 2 = 15
Stealth: 1d20 + 20 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 20 - 2 = 22

The shadow moves forwards, continuing its rampage against the heroes.. but it comes up just short this time.. Zalkuthars Haste spell allowing Valjoen to just dodge the claws.
