Fianna springs forth and lunges at the red dwarf!

Henri hits the halfling with a precision shot, only to see her cut down by Frost.

@Nestezuk: In that case, the roll was a miss

I'mjust going to assume that Grimbli will target the elf instead

Fluffy harasses the elf, but is a bit too wild at it, and his snap is easily avoided.

Mogall a cursing reaction as bushes - only Mogall knows they're imaginary - sprout from the ground.

Fianna, encouraged by Skarn, leaps onto the dwarf, rips into him and throws him on the floor.

The elf, faced with a wild creature, draws his short sword and takes a stab

The dwarf tries to get up (And I doubt he'll survive the two AoO's that are coming up).

The newcomer curse and make their way up to the bushes, and slowly try to make their way through.

Henri moves to the far western wall, targeting the elf facing kitty, shooting again to bring the threat down.

Nestezuk become mad, as he saw that enemies are not surrender in front of him. He turned wild, his eyes become glowing red and he started hitting them.

First he hit the dwarf, that shown him back.

"RA-KA-NI-SHU!" he screamed in stone hall and echo carried those words far away from a fight scene. He moved threatening to new targets, coming from strange thorn wall.

Skarn cuts a large gash across the dwarves' face, only to see Nestezuk rip the enemy apart. Nestezuk then turns his attention to the elf, only narrowly missing him.

Henri shoots another arrow, and hits the elf in the chest this time.

Mogall stops concentrating on the Illusion that last one round longer due to his specialty school of shadows, and moves 20ft east before targeting the green dwarf with shadow Binding Darkness.

Skarn limps forward, and points at the green dwarf: "Kill the elf! Your two races aren't meant to collaborate anyway!"

Casting murderous command on the green dwarf, WIll DC 15 negates.

"Fianna, the elf at the back!"

Following her master's order, she darts towards the (purple) elf and bites him!

Mogall manages to entangle the dwarf in a mess of shadowy strands.

Fianna runs up at the elf in the bushes, and only barely fails to catch the elf between her jaws.

Grease is a close-range spell, so Grimbli would have had to use his move action last round to reach the point where the elf could have been affected. Moved Grimbli 15' north (to combine with the 5' move I stated) to handle that.

Again, Grimbli casts a spell at the elf, concerned that he might injure Fluffy more.

Grimbli casts another grease spell, but before the elf has so much as the chance to slip, he is mauled by the big tiger next to him. The elf collapses onto the floor.

The dwarf means business, and moves through shadowy strands and bush alike to attack his companion, only to miss.

With targets rapidly falling, Henri moves forward and releases an arrow at the remaining dwarf with a calmness one so young rarely possesses...

...but not the precision of a more experienced sniper, however!

"You force my hand" - Frost swings at the dwarf.

She slices at the Dwarf

Damage 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (3, 3) + 4 = 10

Groaning in pain, Fianna fights back at the elf!
Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 101d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 if successful: Trip: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
... but misses completely.

Skarn limps towards the other elf (the blue one) and tries to mess with his mind in a similar manner as he did with the dwarf.

"The dwarf attacked your kin, defend him!"

Nestezuk decided not to foolish around with those commands, he just moved forward and hit elf with his giant glaive.

As Mogall begins move forward the wall of unfriendly shrubbery fades away. If the two foes are still standing the Wayang shadow wizard cast another spell causing A vivid cone of clashing colors springs forth his hand covering the pair. 15ft cone drawn on map.

With the last two foes in a tactically disadvantageous position, the adventurers move in for the finishing blow. First, fluffy bites for a bloody flesh wound on the elf, which is followed up by a forceful cut from frost on the dwarf. Fianna jumps in at the elf, but is startled by the bushes. Skarn again tries to confound the elf, but Nestezuk messes with the elf's mind in a more physical way - by smashing it.

Mogal tries to stun the dwarf with a flash of coloured lights, before the short-stacked cleric can do more harm, but he cannot prevent the dwarf from channeling dark energy one last time, determined as he is to go down in a blaze of glory.

Channel energy: 1d6 ⇒ 3 Will DC 10 for half

And with a dry crunching sound, the ribcage of the dwarf gives way to frost's blade, leaving the evil cleric of Norgorber dead on the floor.

Combat over

After surviving the ambush, the PCs are able to leave the Shrine of the Failed and deliver Eylysia’s cache to the Grand Lodge. The crowd gathered around the Starstone Cathedral has disbanded, and many of the locals are still horrified following Sir Reinhart’s attempt to vault the chasm on horseback, which ended with a fall into oblivion.

At the Grand Lodge, Drangle is there in person to thank the investigators for recovering the package This is an important find, and you have done well in recovering it. I'm sure you have a bright future ahead of you in the Society. Expect new assignments soon!

A few days later, a message from none other than Ambrus Valsin arrives, explaining early results of the research on the papers. (See Handout)

Mogall look curiously at the gap, "Wonder how far down it goes?"
