None of you are carrying a gaze-Geiger-counter, are you? There's not a whole lot to feel if the gaze is unsuccessful, so you wouldn't be aware. I'm sure one of you can make the below check, though:

Swayaah shoos Ilvan out of the cave, and the fuzzy creature leave with a frown of confused disappointment. Owls like to eat lizards, after all

Zen'yr concludes that staring straight at the creature is the best course of action, and targets the lizard with a joke. After she finishes the spell, she's not sure whether the creature understands language at all.

Ilya quickly averts her eyes when Ketill tells everyone to do so.

"Shall we just leave? I like Swayaah's plan to just put some signs up at the entrances to this cave."

After Ketill explains a bit more about the basilisk's gaze, Ilya walks over to one of the stone people and picks him up. "Let's take these with us. We can try to find a cure for them once we're back in town."

Ilya carries the stone person over to the water's edge, near the Spire. She proceeds to do the same with the other stone adventurers.

Zen'yr would have backed out of the room, 100% away from the basilisk. If the black area is indeed not see through, it appears 15' directly North should fix my issue.

I wouldn't look good as stone guys, somebody grab Vayu so we can get the heck away from that thing.

Ilya accidentally looks at the basilisk while carrying Vayu out, but is able to avert her gaze again before the lizard's stare can affect her. She quickly carries Vayu to safety.

"I do not wish to leave the other people," Ilya then says, her face filled with concern for those who turned to stone.

"I'm going in blinded. See if I can get them out that way."

Ilya unties the sash around her waist and ties it like a blindfold. After making 100% sure she can't see a thing, Ilya re-enters the area with the stone adventurers. It takes effort to find all of them, and to carry them without bumping into a wall and breaking one of their limbs, but Ilya does her best to be as careful as possible while saving the stone people.

Assuming that all goes well and we're out of combat afterward:
"I believe there's just one more area on this level. Shall we quickly check it out before we head to town with Vayu and the other stone people? And we should really place those signs before we leave, in case someone else enters this level just after we've headed back."

Swayaah has a +13 Fort Save- she can't fail unless she rolls a 1. She will also walk in blind and help Ilya, if possible.

"Let's finish this place off. Between the mind eating plants, the humanoid eating brains, the brain scrambling demons and the basilisk I've had enough for this place."

Ilya and Swayaah run their little salvage operation, carrying out the petrified bodies of six different adventurers, before Swayaah puts up a sign. It feels oddly satisfying to finally have a form of safety precaution up after thirteen levels of unrelenting peril.

The final room is a small theater. It is painstakingly hewn from the stubborn rock. Below the wide stage against the east wall, a rusty grate covers an orchestra pit, before which rotted chairs face the stage in crooked rows. To the north, a short flight of steps leads up to the stage, and to the south, another set of steps descends to the orchestra pit.

Were we gonna bring Vayu back with a "stone to flesh" spell before all this. I can pop out with a stone, than be back with a scroll. If nobody can cast it, I can attempt 2 UMD checks: 1st to fake the 16 Int, and a 2nd to UMD the scroll itself

Ketill remembers the type of creature all too well: it's a gibbering mouther. Quite a large one for his species as well, much bigger than the one that got him on the bandit level. He quickly turns the stage below into a burning inferno

The formless creature moves through a crack in the plank onto the main floor, and starts cackling in an incoherent and quite disturbing manner.

Through the walls, a group of wispy figures, continuously babbling, appears, adding to the strange orchestra of sounds.

I need six Will saves (except for Vayu) in total: the first (DC 25) to avoid confusion, the next five (DC 15) to avoid being fascinated. Please roll them in the correct order.

Mask Misery rounds: 1d4 ⇒ 3

I still have Mask Misery on myself, which activates as I start to be confused. Since I am also above 6th level I immediately am unaffected by all the fascinated issues to. Below is the Mask Misery trick.

Mask Misery: The subject can shrug off a condition for a short time before succumbing to it. The mesmerist can trigger this trick when the subject becomes affected by a minor condition listed under the touch treatment ability. The subject can ignore the effect of that condition for 1d4 rounds, after which the subject takes the full effect. This has no effect on any conditions affecting the subject other than the triggering condition, even if those other effects are also listed under touch treatment. The rounds during which the subject ignores the triggering effect still count against that effect’s duration; if the duration of mask misery is longer than the effect lasts, the subject isn’t affected by the condition at all. If an effect that imposes more than one condition triggers this trick, the subject ignores all eligible conditions. If the mesmerist is 6th level or higher, he adds the moderate conditions to the conditions he can ignore with this trick, and this trick ends minor conditions entirely instead of suppressing them temporarily. The mesmerist doesn’t need to have touch treatment to choose or use this trick.
