Okay: Ketill double moves after Balon and spectre

The conjurer completes his summoning spell, an two blobbish formless monsters appear, with vaguely humanoid, wretched visages. Immediately, the man begins weaving another spell. The spider moves down the bridge, while the archer fires at Balon.

Ilya focuses her ki into her legs, then moves past the others with incredible speed. She ends up in front of one of the lemures, enters a stance of the dragon style, and sends a stunning kick at the creature.

Stunning Dragon Kick! (Stunning Fist): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21 Damage (Str x1.5 Dragon Style): 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
DC 15 Fort on hit, or be stunned for 1 round

"Everyone else who uses melee, move ahead and get to that caster! He's obviously the one who can do most harm. I'll be able to take these two creatures, and I'll join up with you soon after."

Spending 1 ki point to increase my speed to 60 during this round only.

Balon double-moves across the bridge toward the other bridge. It will take him another round and a half to even just get within range of the spiders.

This encounter was really made for people who can fly! LOL :-S

The final post from the previous page was a hit from my bow, did it make a concentration check that I missed?

Zen'yrs arrow hits the Chelish conjurer, and the ensuing pang of pain is enough to break his concentration.

Oloch briefly considers jumping the chasm ... then considering his armor he chases after Balon while casting Bulls Strength.

Zen'yr, reloads her crossbow, and fires another shot at the conjurer.

After the shot she takes a 5' step closer to the action.

Spectre moves closer again, while cursing those who put bridges over massive chasms At diagonals

Zen'yr would currently be past initial bridge and one square closer to second bridge :). Computer broke so cannot access map :(

Balon double-moves again, seeing spiders in his way on the bridge, hoping to hit them with a burst of negative energy next round.

Seeing as the lemures never appeared, I'm changing that attack in a 2nd move action.

Retcon:

Ilya focuses her ki into her legs, then moves past the others with incredible speed. When she's past the second bridge she shifts her mind to the dragon style, readying herself for combat.

Zen'yr only narrowly misses the conjurer, while Spectre, Ilya, and Ol'och scramble up.

The conjurer finishes his casting, undisrupted this time, and three filthy rats appear. To make matters worse, the then quickly proceeds to throw a little glowing orb in the direction of the grouped pathfinders

The archer returns fire at Zen'yr.

I just noticed that Oloch cut across he didn't follow the first bridge ... he only has a move of 20 (40 double) so he's way down by the rats ... which puts him out of range of the fireball ... lest you prefer to have him up with the group. To match what the wizard did.

I retconned him to where he should be after the first round ... let me know if you want him with the others.

What he would like to do is run past the rat and jump for the bridge ...looks like only 10' to the lower bridge.

Oh good call, I totally forgot about the bloody skeleton! It would be with Balon... which means it'll probably be dead from the fireball LOL.

Reflex skeleton: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Reflex Balon: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

Balon manages to jump out of most of the fire, but the skeleton is caught right in the middle, and is destroyed (he'll actually come back in an hour, but that won't really help us this fight LOL

Balon moves forward and channels negative energy on the spiders, excluding any of his allies in the range (his last of the day).

channel negative: 3d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 4) = 9 /2 = 4 damage to each, and they'll need to make DC 16 Will saves or be sickened (if spiders can be sickened, I think they can) for 3 rounds

Ilya moves past Balon and up to the spiders. She makes a claw out of her hand, mixing the dragon style with the tiger style, and makes a stunning slash at the spider directly south of her.

It's a ten-foot jump from ledge to lower bridge. You'll have to move past the rats, though. Tell me how you want to move

Oloch has a look at the construction down in the undershrine, and it looks like a massive granite ring, with a read, concave slab of stone embedded in it. All around it, strange runes are carved.

Baron looks on as his newly-created followed is obliterated in fire, and pours dark energy over the approaching spiders, while Ilya tears into the nearest one.

@Kludde: The spiders take 4 damage whether they save or not (since the damage is already halved by the Variant channeling). So I think green should be at 14 and blue at 4.

Zen'yr takes an arrow to the arm, and let's out a grunt as pain shoots down her arm. Bleeding, she grabs a scroll and concentrates on it. After a few moments, she sends a red dot of her own behind the spiders catching them in an inferno.

I am fairly sure Oloch just fell down a 200-ft. pit.... The DC for a running jump is the width of the space you're jumping over, and that looks like a bit more than 10 feet, if the map is correct. *gulp* And even if he makes it, he's falling 75 feet to the platform.

Oloch, can you draw a line on how you want to jump? I thought you'd be jumping to that southernmost bridge (which I called 'lower' earlier, adding to the confusion). Are you jumping to that platform that says '-75ft'? That would cause a bit of a clanking sound...

A ball of fire engulfs the spiders. It's strange, but they seem oddly resistant to fire for spiders of this kind.

I think technically the spell resistance would be rolled for each spider separately.

Balon swings his scythe at the spider in front of him.

Ilya 5-foot steps forward and swings her 'claw' at the same spider Balon targeted.

The rat tries to gnaw at Oloch as he moves by, jumps and grabs onto the wooden bridge, only barely avoiding a fall to a hundred feet below. Spectre wipes out a rat with a single stroke, while Balon sinks his scythe into a spider, causing a jet of spidery pus to run out before Ilya finishes the spider off with a powerful punch.

Ketill moves forward, stopping kiddie-corner to Balon. Drawing his longbow as he goes, he takes a shot at the conjurer.

The longbowman immediately reacts to the presence of Oloch, and fires an arrow at him, hitting Oloch while he clambers back to his feet.

The spiders focus their bites on Ilya, and while the monk is nimble, one of them actually manages to bite her in the leg.

And then gets right up in their face.

Zen'yr moves forward, past the rats and goes to the edge of the cliff. She stares a hole into the psyche of the archer. She then speaks a few words, The spiders are better looking than your boss!

I will be at cliff edge, last full square on "first" cliff area. Mesmerist stare on archer, casting hideous laughter. DC 19 will save or fall probe laughing

I would actually have been 2 more squares south of my current spot. Would that put me within range of both stare and spell? Stare is only 30' but the spell is 25 + 5/2 levels which should make it 35'. If I don't get the stare bonus, I would still do the spell, but DC would be only 17 will

Spectre kills the nasty rat that bit him, as Ilya smashes down at the last spider.

Zen'yr mesmerises the archer, who suddenly starts sniggering, giggling, then laughing out loud and rolling on the floor.

on the archers next turn it gets to use a full round action to attempt a new save, same DC. Success = can act, Fail = laughing for 2 more rounds and no more saves. Is the wizard within 35' from me if I am on edge?

For Ketill:

Ketill curses as the explosive arrow bounces off of its intended target. He moves closer to the action, wanting to exact some explosive revenge. Double Move

Back! I didn't see the reflex save for fireball, here it is.

Reflex: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
Original 16 damage = 8 - 5 resistance = 3 damage left

Oloch defends himself with fervour, and lands one blow after the other on the conjurer. Algerian screams with pain, but remains up with firm resolve, and bites you... will not reach the gate!

Ketill lobs an explosive bomb at the spider in front of him, excluding his allies from the blast.

Attack, PBS: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 9 + 1 = 26
Damage: 2d6 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (1, 6) + 7 + 1 = 15

Ketill blasts the spider to smithereens, clearing the way forward.
