As if taunting Kaylee, the refuse heap gives off a bad waft of stench, by far the most nauseating odor in the sewer so far, catching Race right in it.

Unfortunately, the arrow shoots wide.

"Phaugh! That is just...wrong!"

He retaliates scent for steel.

Damage: 1d4 + 1 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 1 + 1 = 6

Both his blade and shield find their marks yet again. Twin flashes of holy light erupt with the hits.

Rafiki sends off a sling bullet at the heap.
Sling with cheer: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 81d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Xuxo tumbles past Race, kicks off the wall and flanks the mass before taking a defensive stance with his kusarigama. Move 30', total defense--flanking. I don't like my chances to hit, so I'm going to drop my kusarigama and pull my wakizashi and use it next time. I didn't realize that the kusarigama wasn't technically a light weapon for the purposes of weapon finesse. I think I'll trade it for a spiked chain when I can spend a feat getting proficiency...

A foul stench billows out, but Race staunchly resists it and finishes of the heap of refuse.

Behind the refuse heap is a small tunnel, that leads up to the other end of the secret door in the vault.

This is pretty much the end of the scenario. The only thing you haven't done is have a look at that Jinkin's diary, and report back to Sascha. I also still need a day job roll from Kaylee, in the discussion thread please.

"Well, it looks like we cleared this place out. Yay us!! Now let's get out of this stinky sewer so I can take a long, hot bath."

She remembers Xuxo's perceived fondling earlier, and puts on her most becoming smile. "You wanna join me, Shoo-show?"

Just for RP sake, you guys might be interested: Kaylee worships Arshea, and Arshea's sacred ritual required of her Evangelists (which Kaylee will eventually become) is to engage in consentual sexual activity with someone every day. So, that'll be her plan for "Shoo-Show" LOL

Xuxo sighs at her forwardness, but replies honestly: "It'd be my pleasure."

Xuxo can't read the diary, but follows the rest to report back to Sascha.

Rafiki has a slight smile on his face while overhearing the interaction. He thoroughly searches the area of the heap as they talk. Then when he's done he follows the party out.
Rafiki is also unable to read the diary.

A DC 15 K(History) check works as well...

And so the adventurers move back past the strange fungus garden, climb out through the pipe, past the statue, move (quick! quick! the otyugh isn't around) back up through the sewers and finally emerge into the daylight, ready for a bath.

Reporting back to Sascha, she anxiously inquires about her locket. Thank you! Thank you for returning this to me, she says with clear sincerity.

The next day, she departs for Andoran - claiming she'll be seeking old connections to start up a low-profile weapons shop.
